Lux brooded over the issue of me staying. I saw him less frequently as he had so much to do. For one, a small group of the Licnine contested his leadership over that of Tykin.
Tykin being Yuni's daughter did have a claim to being Tribe Master. I watched as she stormed around kicking up the dirt and going out on every mission that she could. She had a bad limp ever since she was injured and so, to her displeasure, she could not walk as well.
I could see she was hurting deep down and wished I could comfort her. But each time I tried to she'd scowl at me.
"I have nothing to say to you," She snarled after I'd tried five times to start a conversation.
"I'm sorry for your loss, that is all," I resigned myself to leaving her to brood. She had a lot to grieve, and knowing her personality she was likely trying to avoid those feelings.
