Tim decided that he needed to learn about the ruler. He realized once again how naïve he was relating to matters of the planet.

"In this academy there are only 2 grades. Obviously the first grade(graders) and the second grade(graders).
You new recruits or should I say students will be joining the first graders. There is no such thing has an academic year in which you will move to the next grade if you complete the academic year.
If you notice there are some students with blue badges mixed up among you. There are some with one badge, some with three badges and some with two badges.
The number of badges indicates the number of years the particular student has spent in the same grade, and the maximum is 3 years which is 3 badges.
