"What are you trying to do? Why were you about to start the ceremony?" Lucia said loudly to Luke.
Luke who was seating on his highly decorated throne cursed in his mind at her appearance." Do you plan to keep us ransom here? We have been waiting here for 2 days Lucia, 2 freaking days. Don't you know we have other important thing to do?" Luke replied.
While walking towards the alter of the hall where the 2 throne were situated, Lucia replied "Have you forgotten the reason why we are waiting? Let me remind you. We have one last student that is going to join us, and I told you that the ceremony cannot start without the girl being present."
"I don't remember agreeing to such a thing. You just told me to wait a few minutes, and that few minutes has turned to 2 days. Look if it gets to the end of the day and your special student have not arrived still, then blame me not if I start the ceremony against your wishes." Luke said unbothered about Lucia's approach.
The flames engulfing Lucia's body suddenly doubled in size, the heat from the flame suddenly made everyone in the room lightheaded, any more intensity would make the hall's occupant start to pass out one by one.
"Listen to me when I say, this ceremony will not start without the girl being present. I know you want to challenge my authority Luke and I will not stand for it. It won't take me anything to knock out everyone in this hall, and you know there can't be a ceremony without conscious participants" she threatened.
Luke knew that Lucia was not bluffing, she never jokes, when she says that she will do something she actually goes through with it.
Looking at the occupants of the hall and seeing how weak they were becoming from the heat being generated from Lucia's flame he knew he had no choice but to come to an agreement. He knew of the girl Lucia was talking about, Emma had briefed him on the girl's potential, but he did not believe it.
How could someone grow to rival Earth 19's Godly ruler in strength, he did not believe it one bit. The ruler of Earth 19 had the power to conquer the planets Earth and Bilearth singlehandedly, and he was to believe that a girl from a lower region would rival the ruler in strength, he did not believe!
Hence is reason for trying to hurry the ceremony, because he could not wait for what he did not believe in. "Stop oppressing your fellow officers and students. I will tolerate this delay till tomorrow morning." Luke gave his final deadline.
Although the both of them were Special Commanders, Lucia was far more hot tempered than Luke, he was the more calculative one of the duo. He could decide to challenge her decision to still wait, but he very well knew that a battle between 2 awakeners of their level would severely damage the academy.
Lucia calmed down when she heard Luke's verdict at least she bought enough time for the girl to arrive.

Emma was looking into the distance wondering when the fated girl would arrive when she received a call on her wrist device. The device that rang was a MEW (Military Empowered Watch), it was one of the advanced equipment that was created by Earth 19's new age researchers which was a combination of the best minds from the 3 initial planets that currently occupy Earth 19.
The MEW was an empowered item, it had multiple functions like making calls, purchases or even a location ping, but it was majorly known for its internal scan. It could accurately allocate each of its users strength to stats. It basically provided a visual way for its users to monitor their strength and their growth.
"We have a teleportation request ma'am, a total of 4 people from one of the outer teleportation hubs is requesting a teleportation into the academy" the soldier that call reported.
"Huh, 4 people. That is weird it is 3 people we are expecting not 4. Even if it was to be Xavier that was back, he would have used the scroll that we provided for him, he would not use the teleportation hub. Does any of them have the ping id of any of our military officers?" she asked.
"Yes ma'am, 2 of them bear the id of our officers . 1 of them seem to be Xavie—"
"Let them in" she said, cutting the call and not letting the officer finish his statement. After She ended the call, she immediately sprinted towards the location of the teleportation hub, it was quite a far distance from where she was, but the distance was nothing to someone of her caliber.
In the teleportation hub, at the space allocated for long distance teleportation. A symbol immediately appeared on the floor, immediately it appeared 4 people appeared on the symbol. It was Xavier, Bubba, Layla and Tim.
Xavier, Bubba and Layla landed on their feet, but Tim did not, he was on Xavier's shoulders passed out from the repetitive blows from Xavier.
"Finally, we are out of that barren region" Bubba said. The lower region had lower reserves of mana energy than the higher region. For someone that grew up in the higher region that was exposed to a rich and quality flow of mana energy, going to the lower region was like going from grace to grass.
"Soo-so this is the higher region" Layla said, as all the pores on her body was absorbing the mana energy rapidly, it was like a fresh breath of air for her.
"How do you like the higher region Layla" Xavier said, while scanning the surrounding, checking to see if a particular someone was going to come rant in his ears.
"It is better, far better than the lower region. I feel that if I initially started training in this region, I would have been of a higher level by now" Layla said happily, she was really looking forward for her growth. She had to grow stronger so she could stop injustice, and she saw this as the perfect opportunity for her to grow massively.
Emma arrived at where they landed, happy and smiling. She really had high expectations from Layla and seeing Layla in person made her happy.
"Greetings Emma, nice seeing you again." Bubba said with a warm smile.
"Ohh, you are here. Well mission complete. I brought you your truly prized possession" Xavier said, pointing to Layla as if she was a trophy.
"Layla, it is an honor to finally meet you. You can call me Emma." Emma said with a bow, ignoring Xavier and Bubba.
"Thank you for the honor. I did not know that I was really special. The way you rushed to greet me made me seem like an important person but let me tell you something.
I am just a young girl from a noble family in the lower region, I am not that special, at least I am not yet special enough for the respect that you are giving me." Layla said trying to air out the unnecessary respect that Bubba and now Emma gave out.
Emma amazed by the humble speech Layla gave, couldn't help but smile more, at least the fated rival of their Godly ruler possessed a good character.
She suddenly turned to look at Xavier who was wearing his usual smug on his face. She noticed Tim on his shoulder and knew immediately why the mission given to them took longer than usual.
Noticing Emma's gaze on Tim, he decided to give an explanation of why he brought him along, but as he wanted to start with the explanation, Tim started to regain his consciousness.
'Huh, isn't his recovery speed getting faster, I just knocked him out about 4 minutes ago. How has he already regained his consciousness?' Xavier puzzled by Tim's recovery decided to knock Tim out again. Especially with how rude and wild Tim could be.
As he raised his hand to shake Tim's central processing unit once more, he heard a voice that seemed to scare the ghost out of him from behind.
"What are you doing? you brat!." Lucia yelled.
Immediately shivers ran through everyone in that area, including Tim that just woke up from his short forced slumber.
"Xavier, why are you 2 days late? You were expected to be back at most 3 days ago. Can you kindly explain what took you so long to retrieve a single asset" Lucia asked with a forced smile on her face.
It was very obvious that the smile was just there to mask her anger and frustration.
"Ma'am we had a delay on our return due to—"
"Not you Bubba. I need to hear it from him" Lucia interrupted Bubba's explanation.
Xavier replied "Well, ahem. There was a slight delay because--- because of this little criminal here"
