Paradise
In a world aglow with light and bursting with life, small ethereal creatures darted around in joyous chaos, chasing each other like children playing tag. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, the whispers of wind, and the soft hum of creation itself. This world—this place—could only be described as perfect, or rather, paradise. Yet at the heart of this paradise, two figures sat together on a patch of soft grass.
One was an orb of glowing light, flickering like a miniature sun, its radiance both warm and inviting. Occasionally, the orb made human-like gestures, waving or bouncing with excitement, as if it were trying to express itself in ways beyond its glowing nature.
The other figure was a silhouette—a formless entity, its features indistinguishable. It was a being of shadow and light, and no matter how hard one tried, its true form remained a mystery. Its voice, too, was genderless, neither high nor low, and it seemed to carry an air of both authority and indifference.
"So, now that you've passed, let's get started," the figure said, its voice deep and calm.
The orb of light buzzed with excitement. "YES! Finally! I've been waiting forever for this moment!" It seemed to vibrate with joy, its glow intensifying.
The figure ignored the orb's enthusiasm and continued, "I know you've been dying to know more. But let me explain the world you're now in. This place... we call it Paradise. However, that name is more symbolic than anything else. It's a realm created out of boredom, really."
"Boredom?" The orb's voice cracked with disbelief. "You created all of this... because you were bored?"
"Yes," the figure answered simply. "We—I—had nothing else to do. So, we made a test. A test for people like you. If you pass the test, you get your rewards."
The orb hesitated. "Wait... rewards? You mean wishes? Like the kind of wishes where I get to ask for whatever I want?"
"Exactly," the figure replied, sounding almost bored. "But, of course, there are rules. It wouldn't be a proper test if there weren't some limitations."
The orb practically vibrated with energy. "I love rules! Lay them on me. I'm ready!"
"Good," the figure said. "The first rule is simple: You cannot wish for something that goes beyond the established boundaries. No wishing for omnipotence or anything that would break the laws of this realm. Got it?"
The orb hesitated but quickly nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. No god-mode wishes. Fair enough."
"Good," the figure repeated. "The second rule: Each wish is categorized into three specific stages."
The orb leaned in, eager to hear more. "Stages? I love stages! Hit me with them!"
"First, your first wish is for the power you wish to possess. This is the foundation of your strength in the new world. Choose wisely, because it will define everything about your new life," the figure explained, its tone serious.
The orb bobbed up and down excitedly. "Nice! So, I get to be super powerful? Sweet!"
"Second, your second wish will define your appearance in the new world. You'll be able to choose what you look like. Will you be handsome, beautiful, or terrifying? That's up to you," the figure continued, its voice becoming slightly more animated as it spoke of the second wish.
"Okay, I'm liking this," the orb said, its glow pulsing brighter. "So I can look however I want?"
"Yes, though there are some limitations to your appearance. You can't become something that defies the physical rules of that world—no gods or monsters that can never be defeated, that sort of thing," the figure warned.
The orb gave an exaggerated sigh. "Fine, no transforming into a giant or a god. Got it."
"And finally," the figure said, its voice growing darker, "your third wish is the most important. This wish grants you the world itself. You'll choose the world you'll be reborn into, but be warned: not every world is as pleasant as this one. The world you choose will come with its own challenges and dangers."
The orb thought for a moment, glowing with excitement. "Wait, so I get to choose where I go too? And everything about my new life? This is going to be amazing!"
"Yes, but," the figure said, raising a shadowy finger, "there are... conditions. You can't just make all three wishes about the same thing. If you choose three wishes related to power, for example, the world and system will be randomly assigned to you. You won't get a say in it. You have to balance your wishes carefully."
The orb hummed, processing the information. "Alright, alright. I'm good with that. Can I see the options first? I want to make the right choice."
"Very well," the figure said, its tone almost amused. "Here are the worlds and systems available to you. Choose wisely, for once you decide, there is no turning back."
Choices of Worlds:
Attack on Titan
Bonus: Evolve into a special Titan with enhanced abilities.
The orb blinked. "That sounds... terrifying. Hard pass."
Harem World Reborn
Bonus: Your... manhood will be removed as a 'special bonus'.
The orb's glow dimmed for a moment. "Wait. What? No, nope, not touching that one."
Goblin Slayer
Bonus: You will be permanently transformed into a female character.
The orb paused, considering. "Hmm... it could be worse. But only if there's nothing else, right? I'll keep this on the back burner."
...
200. God of War
Bonus: Become the wife of Kratos himself.
The orb let out an exaggerated groan. "Seriously? Wife of Kratos? I think I'll pass on being his wife. I'm not about that life."
...
350. Tekken
Bonus: You become a referee in the Tekken universe.
The orb laughed aloud. "A referee? Yeah, no. I don't think I'm cut out for that."
...
431. Left 4 Dead
Bonus: Become a zombie yourself.
The orb shuddered. "I don't know if I want to be the one chasing people around... pass."
Choices of Systems:
Gluttony System
Description: The more you eat, the stronger you get. But beware, you'll always be hungry.
Note: Side effects may include becoming ugly, possibly even gay from overindulgence.
The orb wrinkled its light. "I'm not sure that's the kind of system I want... let's keep going."
Cuckhold System
Description: The more you allow others to satisfy your women, the stronger you get.
Note: Host may suffer severe psychological consequences, including extreme jealousy and paranoia.
"I don't even want to think about this one," the orb muttered, quickly moving past it.
Birth System
Description: The more you satisfy others, the higher the pleasure you gain. Giving birth makes you stronger.
Note: Host may suffer from extreme mental degradation and depravity over time.
The orb blinked in confusion. "Wait... so I have to... give birth? Um, that's... strange. Let's skip."
...
200. Sacrifice System
Description: The more you sacrifice what is precious to you, the stronger you become.
Note: Rumors say that this system brings bad luck to its hosts, often leading to early death.
The orb paused, considering the risks. "Hmm... could be useful, but also dangerous."
...
350. Envy System
Description: The more you envy others, the stronger you become.
Note: Users typically become shut-ins, with everyone avoiding them due to their toxic nature.
The orb shook its glow in distaste. "Yeah, no. This one's a hard pass."
Courting Death System
Description: The more times you court death, the more points you earn. These points can be spent to increase your strength.
Note: This system boosts your confidence, but beware—it may cause overconfidence and recklessness.
The orb's light flickered, intrigued. "Now this sounds interesting. I'd get stronger the more I risk my life? Hmm, tempting."
The orb paused for a long moment, processing the overwhelming choices before it. It floated there in silence, trying to weigh the pros and cons of each world and system. Finally, it spoke, its tone more measured than before.
"So, what's it gonna be?" the figure asked, its voice laced with a hint of amusement. "What's your final decision? You get one shot at this, so choose wisely."
The orb of light hovered uncertainly, its glow dimming slightly as it pondered the implications of its choices. "I... I need some time to think."
The figure chuckled softly, its voice echoing through the infinite space around them. "Take your time. But remember, every moment you hesitate is a moment you could be wasting. Your new life awaits, after all."
