At first she felt unsure and lost on where she was, what was she doing here and so much more? But thinking back on the story of beginnings again, she realised that she had died and been sent to heaven to fight against the four legged demons and flying creatures that sought to damage and destroy heaven.
For she had figured that Lake Mansfield as Alex called it must have been the promised land of god. Lake Mansfield is Eden itself, and its tall surrounding mountains must have been Heaven. And she, Lili was now its defender and Alex was an archangel or a lesser angel at least, although he had not yet shown her his wings.
To her these thoughts made so much sense, for what else could such a beautiful place be if not heaven. And Alex must have been something great for he was fat, a little, and Sargent always said that only nobles were capable of being fat.
He also had said that nobles also lived in tall houses that were intact and had glass windows. Sargent also said that the nobles rode in slick cars and traveled a lot. And all these things were something that she had seen Alex have or do.
For during a day of heavy rain when Alex had not come to teach her about fishing or talk about how he didn't like a place called school, during that rainy day she had ventured to where Alex had gone. She knew she shouldn't have as Alex had seemed not to like her following him there, but she was too curious and so she went and saw it all there.
Past the small forest field and behind the forest there she had found there to be a dark, two story, fully intact house of bricks, glass and wood. There were also shelters for many small boats like the one Alex rowed. And then there was a car, a white car more beautiful than anything she had ever before seen.
Being curious she had looked within the house and seen great many fine things. Most of these things being unlike anything she had ever seen before and she had also seen Alex with a beautiful tall woman, a true goddess by the looks of her, although she did oddly enough resemble Alex quite a bit.
Looking at them she could see them dusting off a big room that somewhat resembled a restaurant, like the Sargent called those places. There were many tables and chairs, a fireplace and even a huge screen with images of people in it dancing. Seeing it she had been quite baffled as the screen had such a clear image to it and such beautiful people in it as well with amazing moves unlike anything she had ever seen before.
For but a moment she had watched it all, but not wanting to disturb Alex and the goddess working she continued into the rain. Looking to the paved road leading away from the lake she had decided to follow it. And as she did she found a beautiful house of fine wood, just a few hundred meters away from the brick house. The house held a few smaller buildings close to it, and many big open fields around it that had many strange plants growing there.
Curiously she had stood there in the rain looking at the house, watching and waiting for something to happen. For the house and all she saw there seemed so dreamy, so beautiful and peaceful.
Then she heard Alex running up the road. He wore a large coat and a hood over his head as he spotted her and said. "Lili what are you doing here? What are you wearing? AHH, whatever, just go home already. You'll catch a cold if you stay here for too long."
After saying this he had ran past her in a hurry to the two story wooden house. For a moment she watched this in awe, as she found it amazing just how many fine things Alex owned here. With this in mind she returned home like Alex had said and made sure not to return to Alex's territory ever again. The road did go somewhere down the mountain, but where she didn't know and didn't want to know. Alex had let her eat the strawberries in the fields and she had a home here, so she was happy and didn't seek to question Alex on his things.
The storm as Alex said only got worse and lasted for two days more or less, until finally the sun came again. After that time seemed to fly by, days came and vent as she continued to fight against the demons in the mountains and forests.
With but a wooden spear that had been sharpened by a sharp rock she broke, and many traps with sharp sticks in them she fought these demons. From the bushes she stalked them as they dared to eat the plants and things of heaven. She watched as they pooped around and merely left their poop out in the open like the vile demons they were.
Luckily the demons were not smart and quite easily hunted down by her. Especially the small demons that were disguised as little cute and fluffy creatures, but the real problem for her was the large horned demons, for they were not so easy to fell and would even attack sometimes.
Nonetheless she fought against all these demons, damaging her clothes and shoes as she did. So she had begun to use the demons own disguises as clothing of her own, although their vile meat she didn't dare to touch.
During this time she had also spent a lot of time with Alex. He usually came during the sunny days to fish at the usual spot where she also liked to sit and watch the sun. It was nice until one day he seemed to get mad with her as he said. "How is it that your here every day before me Lili? Do you live somewhere close by?"
To this she had happily answered with a straight and honest. "Yes."
But this seemed to make him confused at first and then just mad as he said. "You know Lili your like really weird and boring. Talking to you is like talking to a pretty flower. Like why couldn't you just sometimes, well you know. AHH, whatever, I don't know why I even try. It's not like you even care what I have to say. I bet you don't even like me. Your just like everyone else. Argh, why are you just smiling, AHH whatever I'm going home."
After saying that Alex left and didn't come to the same spot to fish again for many many weeks. She could see him on the other side of the lake fishing, or close to the brick house at the pier fishing there. But he ignored her which she felt sad about and so she lived alone fighting demons and doing her own thing.
And as some time went on and she trained like the Sargent had taught her. She began to see changes. Looking into her own reflection in the lake, she could see her own big deep blue eyes looking back at her, long eyelashes, a small button nose, long blonde hair and a sweet girlish face. Her skin was white like the Lili flower, it was so soft, so smooth and without any imperfections and her womanly curves had started to show themselves a little, though she was still quite short, maybe 140 centimetres. But she also had abs and some muscles starting to show, she wasn't as weak as she had been before.
Overall she thought that she was quite beautiful and cute looking, or well that was what Alex had said. The Sargent had also said something similar in the past as well, which did make her wonder. Was her being beautiful the reason Alex didn't like her now, she didn't know?
Then late one sunny day, while sitting at the lakeside watching the clouds she heard a commotion from the pier. Looking to her left she could not see it with all the trees and bushes in the way, but she could certainly hear it.
Immediately thoughts of demons attacking the brick house came to her and she ran to help. She ran across the field, through the small forest and out of it into the grassy yard of the brick house. Then she saw it there at the small square shaped peer with a few low chairs there.
A person heavier and taller than Alex was atop him. He seemed to be slapping Alex who was cowering in fear with his hands in front of his face. Another large boy was laughing at the side, cheering them on while a girl taller than her held a flat screen device in hand that seemed to be filming them.
All of them seemed healthy and not thin at all, they seemed like nobles and yet they were fighting. Why were they fighting she didn't know, but 3 against one was not ok, and Alex wasn't even fighting back. He must have been scared to hurt them if he did, since he was an angel, right. So it was now up to her to help him.
She might have only been dressed in primitive looking clothes made of the demons fur that left most of her mid section, arms and legs fully exposed, but it didn't matter. She also held none of her stone knives or her spear with her, but that also didn't matter. She just needed not to get hit and only hit them enough for them to retreat.
Humans unlike demons should be given a chance to retreat. She for sure didn't need to kill these people, as they held no weapons and they hadn't killed Alex.
With no shoes on, she began sneaking towards their backsides barefooted intent to strike the laughing boy on the left first.
"Come on Tyler, stop slapping the fat fuck and hit him already!" Yelled the boy on her left as the girl on her right added by saying. "Yeah do it Tyler. I saw him staring at my ass and tits like such a creep, make him pay."
Then Lili could hear Alex say. "I wasn't staring at you! Like come on Sandy, I barely even looked at you for like a few seconds at most. I was just using you as a comparison to a cuter girl I know. That's all I swear, I'm not interested in you at all, ok."
Hearing this the girl named Sandy seemed offended as she raged at Alex saying. "Oh yeah, and who's this better girl then? She wouldn't happen to be one of those anime girls from that game your always playing, hehehe?"
Alex went further into the fetal position as the guy on top kept slapping him. But with his arms protecting his head he managed to yell back. "What, it's Duel Destinies! It's a detective game! What's wrong with that?"
The big boy sitting on Alex who was named Tyler smiled at these words as he raised his fist and said. "Fucking nerd."
But then Lili struck. The boy before her was over a head taller than her, so she kicked at his knees from behind. The boy grunted in pain. "Argh!" He came down to her level when she then slapped him with an open palm hard right on his right ear. "Bam!" The boy screamed. "Ahhhhh!" As he then fell to the side writhing in pain.
Lili could only guess, but most likely his eardrum was now torn and in danger of infection. Which was probably causing his head to spin and ears to ring at this moment.
Now all eyes turned to her, but before they could react or say anything else than. "What the fuck?" She grabbed the seemingly stunned girls hand, pulled on it bringing her closer to her and then she gave her a hard right fist on the nose. "Bam!"
The girl let out a pained scream, she staggered back exposing her lower jaw and neck giving Lili a perfect opportunity. Lili pulled back her right fist and sent an uppercut straight at the girl. And as Lilis fist connected with Sandys chin, Lili could see her eyes roll back, the girl who stood but a bit taller than her and held some curves stiffened and then went limp.
Lili let go of her hand and she fell to the ground like a sack of small rocks. Then came the big boy named Tyler. He seemed somewhat muscular and a good two heads taller than her.
The tall boy seeing her attacking his friends had managed to get off of Alex and now came towards her. His form seemed practiced, arms in front protecting his face, left leg forward and right leg back he came yelling. "Fucking crazy bitch!"
His left fist came forward in a quick jab down towards her short self. She dodged to the right easily, for there was a reason why guns found it hard to hit her, for she could sense danger.
Tyler seemed a bit shocked as he pulled back his left fist and immediately sent another one at her. She dodged again, he pulled back again and she dodged again. Quickly fists came and she bobbed and weaved out their paths, but she couldn't find a good opportunity to attack and do anything of note to him.
She was small compared to him and lacked strength. She could not hurt him with mere body hits, she needed to strike something vital of his.
But then he changed tactics, he grabbed at her shoulders and she let him. He smiled, she didn't and merely grabbed at his arms, and using them as her support she jumped and kicked her bare feet straight into his face.
"Argh!" He grunted, but amazingly didn't let go, no instead he seemed ready to slam her down on the pier.
Just then Lili noticed Alex stand up and attack while yelling. "Let her go!" Tyler heard this, but too late, Alex sent a right hook straight to the back of Tyler's head. "Bam."
Tyler let go of her, she fell and Tyler staggered off to the side and retreated to his friends. With a light, tud, Lili hit the wooden pier and watched in amazement as Alex came to offer her his hand.
Grabbing it, Alex easily pulled her up to her feet and pushed her behind himself as he said. "Stay behind me, I'll protect you now."
Lili wasn't afraid, but she felt touched by the boys gesture of protection. To have a holy being like Alex protecting her was a true honour to her. So she hid behind Alex, grabbing at his shirt as she peaked at the three evil nobles there before them.
Tyler seemed a bit dizzy and he held his bloody nose, the girl held also a bloody nose as she looked to Lili with shock and fear in her eyes. The other boy just lay still writhing in pain, seemingly panicked by his bleeding ear.
But despite this Tyler seemed intent on revenge as he said. "Ahhhhh, fuck! I'll fucking get you both for this! Your so dead!"
Sandy sounded distressed on the other hand as she cried out. "Get them Tyler. That bitch, she broke my nose, and made me drop my phone. And now it's totally cracked. She needs to pay."
Then the other boy suddenly got to his feet, and yelled in a panic. "No no no, I can't hear anything! I'm death, I'm fucking death! What the fuck! Ahhhh!"
While yelling he suddenly took out one of those small black screen devices from his pocket, tapped his finger on it a few times and ran away while yelling. "Mom, help me! I think I lost my hearing! Please come!"
Seeing this Sandy yelled to the boy. "What the fuck? Josh where are you going? Oh, don't leave me! I still need a ride home!"
Getting up Sandy quickly ran after the boy named Josh while calling out his name as she did. Tyler clicked his tongue in anger seeing this as he said. "Damn, fucking cowards." Then he merely glanced at them and huffed in disdain, looked to Lili with a frown and then turned away and ran after his friends.
Seeing him go Alex raised up his fist and yelled. "Yeah, you better run and don't you ever again dare touch my girl!"
Alex then turned to Lili, he seemed so worried as he then gave her a big hug. His fat body felt soft and she happily pressed her head against his chest as he spoke to her saying. "I'm sorry Lili. I'm sorry for being such a burden and a asshole. I should have fought those bullies myself, but, but I was too scared. I'm such a failure. I'm always just hoping for others to come save me, and I never get anything done myself. Tyler's right, I'm a loser."
Lili could hear him start to cry and she could feel his sadness. The boy seemed so sad to her. She gently began patting Alex on the back and said. "Then change."
This was something that she had learned in her past. Whenever one of her sewer hideouts would get found by the demons and destroyed then she would simply just change to another one. A simple thing, but a thing that if not done would have led to her fast end.
Then Alex seemed to calm down a little as he said. "I know. Thank you Lili. Your right, I should change. Or no, I will change. I will change for you."
Then Alex broke a little away from the hug, he held his hands on her shoulders. They looked into each others eyes, but his fell a little and seemed to start looking at her lips as he then looked back at her eyes and asked. "Mmm, Lili. Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
Hearing this Lilis heart skipped a beat and her big eyes widened a little. She liked Alex yes, and she liked to have friends so she smiled and said. "Yes."
Suddenly his eyes closed, he pushed his lips forward and started bringing his face slowly towards hers. Confused at this, Lili bent her knees falling lower as to avoid his incoming head.
Seeing this Alex broke away from her, he seemed embarrassed as he quickly said. "Oh, I I, I'm sorry. Was that too soon? Mmm, please don't be mad Lili, it's just that I thought that. Well since we are boyfriend and girlfriend that I could maybe kiss you? You know."
Standing there, Lili just tilted her head in confusion. For she knew not what Alex was talking of. What was kissing and what did being friends have to do with kissing? The Sargent was her friend as were the others, but no one ever talked of kissing and did no such things as Alex just tried to do.
Alex seemed distressed, as he then looked down at the wooden pier in thought. Seeing it Lili looked there as well, in wonder at what it was that Alex saw there.
Then he suddenly looked up at her and hesitantly said. "Mmm, well good I get your number at least?"
Hearing it Lili could remember the Sargent and the others calling themselves the 331 Cronos regiment. All of them also had that number on their left shoulder pad. But she was never given a number, so she was unsure what to say, or what did Alex even mean?
Seeing her confusion, Alex looked like he realised something as he then asked. "Wait, you do have a phone right? Or some social media account that you like to use?"
Lili knew not of these things, so she just shook her head in denial. To which Alex seemed quite confused and saddened to see. He seemed to become quite sad as he looked downwards and said. "I see. Damn, and I thought my life was bad. But I guess you have had it pretty rough too. Hmm, well you did seem like you knew what you were doing against Tyler just then, so could you maybe teach me how to fight like you?"
While Alex spoke some confusing words, teaching him how to fight she did understand and so she nodded yes to him.
Quickly a smile came upon Alex's face, he took out one of those small black screen devices and said. "Oh I know, let's take a picture of us to remember this moment, but first I wanna take a picture of you. I mean like wow, you look absolutely amazing right now, so cool. Your like a female Tarzan. Just where in the world did you get that outfit, it's so realistic. Maybe a bit too revealing, but it definitely fits you and looks cool."
Saying this Alex suddenly started looking at his screen device and tapping it as he started requesting her to smile and pose in different positions.
After which he came close to her, put his hand around her and held the screen that had turned into a mirror up high and tapped it many times. He even put his hand around her waist and did it again, while saying that he was curious to see how many likes he was going to get for this. And something about everyone being jealous of him.
Lili knew not what it was that he spoke of, but she felt happy knowing that Alex was happy and that he wanted to learn to fight from her.
