"Get lost, you thief! Must you work here? If your family can't survive starvation, just die. Nobody cares."
The old woman kept on yelling and chasing Ophelia away. She just glanced at the old woman walking away while murmuring in anger.
She will work in different places and only be paid a penny some will even accuse her of stealing intentionally for them not to pay her or find faults in her.
She walked down the streets and different thoughts went through her mind. Should I start stealing she said questioning herself, thinking about how she worked her ass off every day and still get cheated annoyed her.
But no matter how much she considers stealing, it's not her thing. She shook the thought off her mind and decided to walk back home.
"There must be leftover food to eat for today," she assumed as she bounced up and down in joy.
Suddenly, she noticed a guy entering a car. "Wow, is he an angel sent directly from heaven?" She thought to herself.
She was still examining the guy when she noticed the car. "This is huge if I must say. I have only caught a glimpse of that type of car in movies," she exclaimed silently in excitement.
She stood in place and admired him as he drove away. "He must be rich," she thought to herself still daydreaming. She was about to continue walking away when she noticed a wallet on the floor.
She rushed toward it and picked it up. She slowly opened it and noticed some dollars in the wallet, including a black card and a ticking device, which was so hard to remove.
After trying her utmost best she decided to ignore it, thinking it wouldn't be a threat. After all, she could just remove the money when she got home and toss the wallet."
"This would be enough for our family to survive for a week," she pondered to herself. But I should return it, she said trying to consider the owner, She tried to find the owner, but she found nobody.
She slowly dipped the wallet into her bag and walked away.
Ophelia's mother was so sick and starving, and Her father was a drunkard and a gambling addict. The money he borrowed last resulted in his death. When he couldn't pay on time, they amputated him, and he later died of pain.
On getting home Ophelia met her sister, Milana, crying alone in the living room. She rushed toward her. "Why are you sobbing? Is it because of food? I have some money, don't worry; let's cook a delicious meal," she said, trying to console Milana.
Milana slowly opened her mouth and said with tears in her eyes, "Mama is gone. She did not open her eyes, and also she was not breathing. Mama is gone like Daddy."
"What nonsense are you saying?" Ophelia yelled and stood up abruptly, rushing to their mother's room, only to find her mother's cold body on the bed.
"Mom, I brought money. Mommy, please wake up!" she cried out in tears, she couldn't believe Her one and only parent was also gone that way.
Remembering how her father died of pain on that same bed she wailed in pain.
Even though her father hates her to the core and always maltreats her she always loves him deep down. He was always a loving father until he turned into a gambling addict all of a sudden.
Ophelia was a graduate and also a good singer with a great voice, but everything changed for her when she was expelled from her industry for plagiarism of songs. After that None of the agencies she applied to were not willing to take her in. After several interviews, she was never chosen."
Ever since their mother's illness commenced Ophelia had been working aimlessly to save her and she even had to stop my Milana school also to pay her mother's bills, but she later died.
"Perhaps I was cursed," she thought to herself as she sat on the floor, crying, looking at her Mother's dead body.

Rome drove at full speed, angrily, towards the mansion. It was so frustrating for him when his mother insisted he go on a blind date prepared by her friend, and it turned out to be some arrogant girl. She even insisted he promised her half of his inheritance before their engagement.
He parked and dialed his mother's number still fuming in anger.
"Hey, Rome, how is the girl?" she yelled happily on the other end. He slowly calms his nerves and speaks, "Mom, the girl is a gold digger. I don't think her background is also genuine because she has her eyes on my money."
"Don't set me up on any blind date, okay? Do whatever you want with the company; I don't care. When it's the right time, I will get married," He said plainly. And cut off the call.
He gets off the car and walked with his right/hand man Adrain tailing behind.
"Do you have any other plans?" Adrian asked, looking worried.
"I will just return everything to my grandfather and live my peaceful life. Marriage is not a must," Rome replied angrily, walking past him.
He slowly rested his back on the sofa and was about to close his eyes when he heard Adrian's voice again.
"Where is your wallet?" Adrain asked, getting him angrier.
"What has my wallet got to do with all of this nonsense?" He asked, provoked.
"Your father asked me to insert a GPS tracker in it, so we had to remove it if you want to be free," he said, looking terrified.
"It will be in the car," Rome said, closing his eyes. Adrain left but soon came back in a flash. "It's gone," he said, annoying Rome more.
"Then that's even better. He won't be able to find me," Rome yelled, trying to close his eyes back.
"But your black card has access to all your liquid cash. Are you sure it's not stolen?" he asked again, making Rome's eyes open widely in rage.
"You said there is a GPS tracker in it, right? Then find it. I'm sure that crazy girl stole it. Bring her to me, alive or dead," Rome replied, curving his lips with a sinister grin.
"Yes, sir," Adrain responded and walked out boldly.
"It seems she meant good business, then I will show her what messing with Rome Sinclair means," Rome said, laughing hysterically.
