Hu Li in her rage, is enlarge with thunder on her paws. With her golden eyes, she shot out lighting blots. She watch Di Jun and Hei disappear in the clouds. Her attention is turn to the other mystical creatures infront of her.
"Hold her down! Don't hurt Hu Li!"
Hu Li continue to shot out lighting blots but never to hurt them. She just wants them to stay where they are. She watch some of them transformed into birds of different forms and fly off. She try to keep them within her area of defence but they fly off chasing the two who disappear. In her carelessness, she did not notice that one of them cast a spell on her to bind her paws. Another cast a cloud of smoke that cause sleepiness. Soon she close her eyes and return to her small fox form. They keep her cage up in the big platform with a forcefield on a pavilion. Each of them did not want to deal with her. They are all waiting for Di Jun to return with Hei. Maybe they can lock him up as well.
Hu Li wakes up staring at the dark sky. She feels that she is back where she is born but where is the white snow that the ground suppose to have? She look around instead she find herself surrounded by a force field. and a hard ground. She transform to her two legged form and look around. With her far eye sight, she see the dark cosmo sky. She look down to the human world. She only see small figurine of humans doing their daily work. There is not a sight of Di Jun nor Hei. She stay alone for a long time. She watch the sun and the moon raises and sets. Sometimes, the dark will rain. Sometimes it snows. For a long time, she did not move. Only her eyes are blinking.
Finally one day, Di Jun appear. He walk through the forcefield. She look up to him with a weak body. He did not talk but pat her head. His hair is all white, so did his eyebrows. He looks tired and sad. After awhile he sits down next to her and lift her up. He gently place her on his lap. He continue to pat her.
"Hu Li..." He swallow in a deep breath before he continue." I have asked the council to spare your life. I told them, you won't be a harm to any of us."
She lift up her head and look at him.
"I will send you away. Far away. A safe place where you can grow up. Where no humans nor beast roams. I will come for you when the other mystical beat hunt him down." Hu Li tears as she hear that. She tuck her head at her tail. She refused to look at him after that. There isn't any point to say anything. They are the one making the decisions. After awhile, he lift her up and put her down. He quietly leaves the ground. Hu Li is pretending to be asleep, cry. Her tears flows up to the sky into the cosmo. It join and form those crystals she sees in the dark sky.
When the sky is raining, Di Jun comes with an umbrella in his hand. He shield Hu Li and carry her little body in his arms. She knows that he is bring her to the place that he said where no humans nor beast roams. She refused to open her eyes. Pretending to sleep for a long time. For along time Di Jun travel over his cloud with Hu Li. He have place Hu Li inside his shirt next to his heart. He long to talk to her, hold her hands and let her hug him. He miss that pair of eyes that look at him so lovingly. He now needs to spend more time to convince the elders that Hu Li is not dangerous. She is a harmless beast like many of them. She is a child that is growing up. She needs a proper guidance from the mystical beasts.
They arrived at a place fill with snow. The wind is chilly. The sky is grey. The trees are fill with snow on the leaves only the tree barks can be seen. It is still snowing thus his umbrella is still useful in this condition. He walk towards a cave. Inside, it is furnished with human touch. He gently remove Hu Li from his shirt and place her down on the bed. Di Jun use his magic to light up the fire in the center of the room. Immediately it light up and warm up the room. He continue to poke the fire with a stick on hand. His back is facing Hu Li. She peek with one eye to see what he is doing. She wants to transform to her two legged human form but she change her mind. Di Jun is going to leave anyway, she dont want to talk to him. She close her eyes and sleep for real this time.
By the time she wakes up, he is gone. The cave house is warm and cozy. A huge cave fill with all books on shelves leaning against the walls. There is a study desk with her favourite brush sets and ink pad. The light is shining in from the top of the cave. Even though it is snowing outside, the snow will never land in the cave. She sees the garment hanging on a screen, with her will she transform to a two legged and walk to the screen. In the past, Di Jun is always there to dress her up. However today onwards, she will start dressing herself. She look at the refection on the water, her white hair is like the snow outside. She choose to retain her golden eyes. There won't be any humans around. They won't be scare to look at her. However, she notice that she actually have two long tooth, one on left and one on the right, coming down from the top teeth. Hu Li sight a relief that she doesn't have her fur shown on a human face. That is totally too odd!
