Hours later, Victoria was in her room, looking at the burning candle in front of her.
The message was already on its way.
"We have a common enemy. Let's talk."
"You know what to do," she said.
"Victoria… Shadowfang is dangerous." The scout hesitated.
"That's exactly why I need them, now go." She said smoothly.
The scout paused a little for a second longer before nodding and moving into the night.
Victoria breathed out, a slow, satisfied smile spreading across her face.
Her father may have been willing to wait. But she was not.
And when Moonhaven and Ava fell, it would be because of her.
The Shadowfang Pack can do anything, and that is because they are very dangerous.
But they hated Moonhaven just as much as she did.
And if she could join hands with them, Ava would not just be fighting Jenkins's army. She would be fighting something far worse than them.
