THIRTY-TWO
"I believe that this is not your territory, Jenkins." Ava did not move.
"No, but you are mine." He chuckled, taking a slow step forward.
"Over my dead body." A growl rumbled in Asher's chest.
"That can be arranged for you." Jenkins smirked.
Ava were already ready to fight him, but she had to actually forced herself to stay calm.
"Leave now, or you would not like what really happens next." She said.
"You think I came all this way to leave?" Jenkins laughed.
"Burn it down." He turned and looked at his warriors.
The command was met with an earth-shaking roar as Jenkins's forces charged forward to attack.
And then chaos started.
Ava did not even have time to react before a rogue charged at her. She dodged, turning her body and cutting with her dagger upward.
The blade entered into fur and flesh, and the wolf howled in pain before collapsing.
