Eduardo listened to every one of Mario's explanations about the contract that he had never heard about. It was his first time hearing about it.
He kept on thinking, going through his memories to see if he had ever received a contract like that from the Diabolo household, but no. If he had received one, his father was willing to sign the contract.
"Are you alright, Eduardo?" Mario snapped him out of his thoughts. He coughed out a weak smile as he lowered his head.
"I'm fine. Just a bit of headache caused by the painkillers. I'll be alright after some sleep" He rubbed his temples.
"I'll leave you to get some sleep. But, make sure the boss never finds out about what I told you," he pleaded, and Eduardo nodded. After a few seconds, Mario was out of the room.
Eduardo threw himself on the bed, with his hand over his face. He was still thinking of the reason why he didn't receive that contract.
