Eduardo was still surprised to hear those words from Marcello. Even when he was Carlo, Marcello had never apologized to anyone, not even his father.
He was the kind of person who did whatever he wanted, and even when he was wrong, he expected the other person to apologise to him. Eduardo's lips curved into a smile. He never thought he would live to see this day.
Marcello, on the other hand, had his face flushed red. With what he just said to Eduardo. It's almost as if he was confessing to him.
"Fuck" he grumbled.
Eduardo walked past him towards the food split on the floor. He was about to pack it back into the brown bag, but Marcello held his hand, stopping him.
"Don't!"
"Someone needs to pack this thing up!" Eduardo pointed out. Marcello ignored his words and still pulled him up.
"I'll call the men to pack it up," he said. Eduardo furrowed his eyebrows, glaring at Marcello.
