"Here you go," I tell a merchant dropping a rabbit and deer pelt alongside some of the meat that I got from the animals
Paying me some coins that I quickly put in a bag as I take my leave
Frowning I ignore some of the people looking at me
Being sent to the past shows me just how difficult people's lives used to be
I even taught them about resin and how it can be used to start fires and even use it to prolong torches and stuff
I even taught them very simple ways of purifying water by using rocks, sand, and some charcoal and then boiling it
I also gave some pointers on how to smoke meat for long-term preservation
I have one question in my mind
How do I know these things?
Getting over to my 'shelter' to eat and rest as I am leaving tomorrow for the next town over
Frowning, I look at the knife that I have been using to butcher the animals, sighing I put it in its sheathe
Eating my meal, which consists of some potatoes surprisingly enough, and some venison
I was really surprised by the potatoes as I had quite a bit of knowledge about them
I failed but at least, I had something good to eat...

"Artoria, did you give the money away again?" Asks someone from my side as I walk through the road
Panicked, I turned over to see who was speaking
The first thing I notice is a blonde-haired girl scolded by a black-haired man as she looks at the ground ashamed
"Y-yes," She answers in cute voice
'Cute' I think to myself
Shaking my head, I continue walking over to the market but I stop as I feel someone looking at me
Turning my head to the side, I watch the blond girl and I see that she has bright green eyes that startle me at the intensity in them
I turn my head as I continue walking over to the market
Arriving, I begin to look for someone who will purchase the pelts that I have to buy myself some new clothes and if I have enough, probably a new knife as the one I have is dull and chipped in many places
I control my shiver as the air is getting a bit colder as winter approaches
Selling the pelts, I managed to find someone who sells clothes
Purchasing a whole new set of clothes and a fur coat for winter takes every bit of coin that I have left
Sighing, I begin to make my way over to my camp
Walking for some time, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding
"Now now, this won't do at all," Says a man as I turn around while unsheathing my knife in case I need to defend myself
I blink as I look at a white-haired man wearing white clothes that look so refined that I am sure the man is a noble or something
He opens his eyes and something about them puts me on guard as I feel something inside me begin to stir at the attention that this...thing is giving me
Something...fierce
"You are not human," I say to the man at this point not caring anymore
If I am going to die, I am going to die swinging
Swinging...that's a weird...expression
Staring at the man, he looks surprised and perplexed as he looks at me
Something in my gut is telling me that he is looking through me somehow
"You haven't answered my question," I tell him as he stops looking at me his eyes seem to be looking somewhere else and for a moment an air of hopelessness appears around him before he looks resigned as he turns back to look at me
"Well...I have no idea what to do," He says ignoring me as he rubs his forehead
I deadpan at him as he ignores me
I begin to take several steps as the man rambles on
As I take my leave, I suddenly hear footsteps as the white-haired man runs over to me
I begin to run only to be caught and I let out a yelp as my feet leave the ground
Being held by my neck like a cat felt degrading but if there is one thing that I am scared of, it is this thing pretending to be human
"Now where do you think you are going..."

"This... wasn't what I had in mind," I say with dread as the white-haired man is carrying me around like a sack of potatoes around town
I really thought that he was going to kill me and quite possibly eat me
Not take me back to town
"We are here," He says dropping me to the ground
Falling on my face, I groan as I get up to glare at the thing in human flesh
"Why did you bring me here?" I ask getting a small rock knife out of my boot, in case of emergencies
Pointing it at him, I glance at the side as I see a knight come out confused looking at the white-haired thing before looking at me and letting out a sigh of frustration
"What did you do this time?" He asks looking at the white-haired man for answers
"I found this one wandering about he might be what we are looking for," The white-haired thing responds
"Him...come inside, you too," he says as I tried to sneak away
"I knew you would understand Kay," Says the thing as I am forced to follow them inside the house as I can tell that if I were to run away they would come find me
As I enter the house, I can feel the bounded fields snapping in place as I freeze for a moment

I didn't even notice them until now
Resisting the urge to smack myself at my own stupidity, I continue to follow the knight and that thing next to him
While I follow behind the knight, I keep an eye out on the thing that is continuously glancing at me
I try to calm down my racing heart as the implications of me being inside of a bounded field hit me like a rock
Being in the home of a Magus is incredibly dangerous
It's on the same level as being inside their Workshop
"Here we are, take a sit please," Says the knight while ordering a maid to bring us something to drink
"Introductions, my name is Kay, son of Ector the lord of this house,"
"My name is Aiden, I am a hunter," I say my name while being careful not to say my last name, Williams
While I am sure that my family might not be around at the moment since I am pretty sure that I am too far in the past for my actions to hold much influence or whatever
My family has only really been around for 120 years
I wasn't even in line to inherit the Family Crest and my family only got it after taking it from a family called the Blackmores along with an interesting Mystic Code called Add...
"Now, how did you meet this one?" Asks Kay pointing at the thing and looking me over analytically
"I was on my way to my hut, to enjoy a meal after I sold some of the animal furs that I obtained for myself," I answer him honestly as I am not sure if the bounded fields can detect me lying or not
I am not taking any chances
"Are you...you explain," Says Kay looking at the thing
"Well..."Begins the 'thing' before my eyes close as I feel sleep overtake me

"Why did you bring him here?" I ask Merlin as Aiden falls asleep
"He has the Dragon Factor that should have been in Artoria," He says shocking me
"That's...how?" I ask Merlin as he for once has a serious look on his face
"I don't know when Artoria was in her mother's womb, I made sure that she would have the Dragon Core Of The Red Dragon. But, when she was born, it was gone. I believe that someone interfered at some point, when I do not know," Merlin says looking at Aiden
"Is the sword ready?" I ask him
"Yes, I will be making the announcement next week," He says which to my shame, I am relieved that the burden to rule is not on Artoria's shoulders
She is a bright child...
"You want to place the burden on this child?" I ask Merlin while referring to Aiden
"There is no choice if Aiden refuses it, Artoria WILL have to step up," He says while I close my eyes
I do not know this child, yet I am already making plans to aid him in the future
"We must inform my father at once," I say sighing while a pit forms in my stomach at Aiden's future
I can only hope that he forgives us...
