Chereads / Hello, Mr. Werewolf / Chapter 6 - 6.Burin

Chapter 6 - 6.Burin

The nearest town to Bayek, named Dud, was a relatively prosperous town with almost every kind of amenity, schools, ruling halls, police stations, factories, and more.

The various carriages, the people dressed in instantly recognizable class clothes walking through the streets, and the Gothic buildings on both sides, all made Glenn, who walked into this place, feel a little bit in a trance.

In contrast to the town of Bayeux, this place seemed like another world.

Although he had images of all this from the original owner's memories, experiencing it in person was a different feeling.

There seems to be more people than usual today? Did something happen? Quickly adjusting to the situation, Glenn noticed the difference, but he wasn't too surprised because there were a few times in his memory when this happened.

Usually it was some kind of circus, or some kind of festival or something like that, for which Glenn wasn't interested.

He bought a little bit of ingredients from each of the several stalls selling vegetables, and there were only two copper coins left in his pockets.

Have to think about how to get money ah ... holding a large bag in his hands, Ge Lun gait relaxed toward the way back.

Suddenly he reached out to the side and helped a teenager who almost fell.

"Thank you, sir." The teenager thanked him sincerely.

Glenn nodded slightly.

At that moment another teenager's voice came from off to the side, "Myer, you don't have to be in such a hurry at all, Burin is right there, sooner or later."

Glenn looked sideways to see five youngsters smiling and stepping forward, three males and two females, the one who had just spoken was one of the taller teens.

"That's a great knight who once defeated a third-degree vampire, I've only heard about it from my teacher, aren't you guys anxious to meet it?"

Meir explained with an embarrassed glance at one of the five, a blonde girl.

"Then you should be careful too, it wouldn't be good if you got hurt ..."

The six quickly walked away and their voices were lost in the crowd.

These people Glenn recognized, no, I should say Dylan did, but they didn't know Dylan, and they occasionally ran into each other as they traveled to and from this town.

The only reason why they paid attention to them was because the two young girls among the six were very pretty and left a deep impression on the original owner.

If his father was still around and his family was rich, he would have definitely taken the offensive to pursue them.

But the original owner no longer had the pride of the past, only a deep inferiority complex remained.

Grand Knight Burin? Today is so lively because of this person? The original owner has no impression of this guy either, forget it, it s none of my business ... Tightening the things in his arms, Glenn continued to lift his steps.

...

Wearing a silver glittering iron armor, a red cloak encrusted with gold filigree patterns, his face was majestic and calm, giving people a thick sense of deposition.

This was the feeling of Meir when he first saw Burin, and although it was slightly different from what he had imagined, it was not far off.

Burin was riding alone on a silver-armored white horse, with two neat columns of knight soldiers below him.

The two knight-soldiers at the forefront carried tall banners, the logo symbolizing the will of the kingdom fluttering in the wind.

Amidst the enthusiastic cheers of the townspeople and the adoring words of the girls, Burin's queue stepped neatly towards the resting place that the town mayor had arranged for them.

"Deamela look, that must be the Great Sword of Riles that the teacher was talking about, it's so beautiful! And that one, it must be the White Lion's Lance that possesses the power of exorcism ..."

Maier was very excited as he pulled the taller teenager beside him, pointing at the greatsword behind Burin's back and the twin lances at his waist and introducing them.

"No need for you to tell us, of course we know, it's not like the teacher only tells you about Burin's legends, we kind of grew up listening to his stories, and today we finally see the real person, he looks really powerful!"

Dea Mera was likewise a little excited, for teenagers of their age, these hero-like figures had a huge attraction in themselves.

"I will definitely become someone like Burin in the future!"

One of the slightly chubby teenagers with red hair said this.

"You'd better think about how to deal with the teacher's exam in a few days, Bock."

The pretty girl wearing a wide-brimmed floppy hat, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and three-dimensional features laughed.

There was a harrumph of laughter from the partners.

"Pernice, just don't bring it up, I'm losing my good mood ...," the red-haired teenager chided, scratching his head.

The crowd laughed even more.

"Okay, you guys, stop making fun of Poke, he's trying so hard."

Seeing the red-haired teenager's red face, another teenage girl with long teal hair and equally cute and pretty looks hurriedly stopped the crowd.

The teens also stopped teasing at the right time, while Polk looked gratefully at the teal-haired teen, "Thank you Leila."

The young girl pursed her lips and said, "Prepare well and you will pass your teacher's test."

...

In the Knight's Inn in the town of Dunder, Burin's entire party stopped here, while the enthusiastic townspeople were kept on the periphery by police officers so as not to disturb the knights' rest.

The mayor of the town, an old man with white hair and a white beard, dressed in decent clothing, looked at the dismounted Burin and smiled forward.

"Honorable Lord Burin, we have already organized a room for you, this way please."

Burin nodded and said, "Don't bother too much, we are also stopping here for a few days, by the way, we will see if there is any trace of those two werewolves that are wanted, there are more important matters up there."

The mayor's face changed, revealing some alarm, "Lord Burin, will that werewolf appear here? Please also make sure to ensure the safety of the townspeople, my lord."

"There is no need to worry, Mayor, those two werewolves are just low level werewolves with thin bloodline, their danger to you is limited, even if we don't find them, you will only need a few police officers and a few guns to deal with them if you encounter them."

Burin's voice was calm and steady, giving people a great sense of security.

Only after hearing this did the mayor's face look better.

...

Strolling down the road back to the town of Bayeux, Glenn pondered over his dinner while keeping an eye on his surroundings.

As the road became more and more remote, fewer and fewer passersby were encountered, until an unfamiliar figure appeared in the distance.

Glenn slowed down, his eyes watching the figure.

It can't be some kind of monster again, can it? ... Glenn kept his cool and slowly approached.

As the figure became clear, Glenn gradually saw it clearly and also smelled a somewhat familiar scent.

This was a man dressed in gray and black linen clothes, wearing an odd turban, with a darker complexion, very deep dark circles under his eyes, and an expressionless face, giving the impression that he was an unsmiling fellow.

The scent that Glenn found familiar, on the other hand, was from the town of Bayek, and it was thought that this man was also a townsperson there, just that the original owner had never seen it.

The man in front of him was facing Glenn sideways, carrying a bag of things in his left hand, indicating that he was also returning from shopping, while there was another figure at his feet, lying in the weeds, which Glenn saw only when he got closer.

"Sir, are you also a resident of Bayeux?" Glenn tried.

The man inclined his head at Glenn and nodded expressionlessly.

It was a noncommittal ... Glenn was slightly silent, glancing at the figure on the ground, unaware of its death, before whispering, "Did you kill it?"

The man shook his head.

Then what's this about? Glenn wondered.
