Issshin ran towards the center of the burning village, able to sense the presence of multiple people, both hostile as well as afraid.
As he was just about to reach the central square, he found his route blocked by burning wood.
"It seems these pirates have some brains. But against me? It is not enough." he dashed forward, kicking the wood, the force of it sending it flying from one end of the central square to the other, to the shock of everyone present.
"What the hell was that?! Who was able to break through the barrier?! Find and kill him!" yelled a man, his body covered in scars, and having an eye-patch covering his left eye, and who seemed to be bigger than the other pirates.
He had been busy, about to tame a beautiful woman, while her husband was being held to the ground by other pirates, who were cackling at the sight, until his happy times were interrupted by a young man.
"Hey brat! You better drop your weapons and surrender now, and we might just spare your life!" A pirate yelled at him, his pupils gleaming with malicious intent.
"Ara~ aren't you quite the handsome boy. Come here, big sister here will protect you from these bad boys, they won't be able to touch you in my bedroom~" a female pirate with a large cleavage spoke seductively.
"With that face, it looks like you aren't winning any beauty contests anytime soon."
"Aaaaah! I'm going to cut you to pieces, you little brat!"
"Hmph. Burn in hell." spoke Isshin with disdain, as he stabbed his katana into the ground.
"Hey kid! The sword is supposed to go within an enemy, not the ground! Hahaha! It seems he's all bark and no bite!" laughed multiple pirates.
Isshin swung his katana upwards, pulling the flames from the nearby burning houses, as he shot the flames precisely towards the pirates, engulfing and consuming them like fire and oil.
"Aaaaaahhhhh...."They rolled on the ground as they tried in futile to put out the flames, and eventually were unable to even scream in pain as they were burnt to death.
Isshin walked towards the large man, passing by the burnt corpse of the woman pirate who spoke earlier.
"Hmm... you look much better than before."
"You... you! You're one of those devils who can turn into animals and stuff! But so what? We cab still kill you easily with numbers! Boys, attack!"
"Wooooaaaaahhh" the pirates yelled as they attacked him together with pistols and sabers.
"Kuhahaha! That's more like it! But you all... are too weak." he swung his sword in an arc, creating a sword wave that split the pirates into 2 halves, unable to even react to the slash as they died in quick succession.
"Now that the distractions are gone, you are the only one left." Isshin spoke, pointing his katana at the large pirate, who he figured to be the captain, and started walking slowly towards him.
"Don't you dare move! Or I'll kill this woman! Don't test me!" The captain held the woman who he had tried to devour before, a knife held to her throat.
"No! Stop! Don't kill her!" Her husband cried.
But that did not stop Isshin Ashina, whose each step taken sounded like Death's very own steps getting closer and louder in the captain's ears, who panicked and cut the woman's neck.
Or atleast, he would have, had his arm not been cut off by an Isshin who should have not been by his side so quickly.
"I'm sorry! Please forgive me! Spare my life, and I promise never to hurt anyone ever again!" he begged as he kowtowed, head to the ground, fear and regret on his face.
"Hmph. Just a coward. Nothing more." he looked on with disdain at the pitiful display, as he sheathed his Katana.
The pirate smiled seeing this, as he pulled out a gun hidden in his coat pocket.
"Ha! You naive fool! Die! Die, Die Die!" the Pirate yelled as he pulled the trigger, firing the gun at point blank, confident of his plan's success.
As the smoke cleared, he saw Isshin standing in place , with not a single bullet even grazing him.
Then, the hand holding the gun slid off, cut at the wrist.
"Aaaaahhhhh" he yelled, in great pain from losing both hands in such short time.
"H-How?! How is this possible?! N-no, I made a mistake! This was just an accident! Please forgive me! I'll never trick or be evil anymore! Let me go!"
"You must be crazy to belive that I would spare you after all you did. You were going to die by my hands, that much was set in stone. The only variable was how quick you were to meet death. Now, die." He swung his sword, cutting off the captain's head, thus putting an end to the pirate incursion.
"Now, I have to get back to the little one." he muttered to himself, as he turned around to leave.
A/N: Still sick, and also doing prep work for a college fest (dialogue writing for a skit) due to which I've had pretty much no time, but somehow pumped out enough determination to write this chapter. Again, I apologise if there's a quality dip.
So I'm not going to ask for powerstones and collections, cause I personally don't think this chapter is good enough, being so rushed and stale. Although in my defence, it is kinda impossible to make a fight between Issshin and some random mobs anything interesting. Good night.
