She chuckled at the look on his face as realization dawned on him.
"Yeah, I've known all about your little dirty affair since then," She sneered.
"So you can't play a fool of me again, Ethan."
Ethan's expression at this point was that of a puppy caught stealing the neighboring dog's treat, or better yet, a rat caught eating cat food as he realized without a doubt that he had been caught in his affair. Vanessa knew every single thing about his affair with Serene and that fact alone, had him fearing the fall apart of his plans, for it was far to early for her to find out.
Quickly, he realized he needed to mend the situation as best as he could.
"Vanessa, baby," He began, surprising the crowd as he got on his knees.
"Baby please forgive me. I was under the influence of alcohol, my affair with Serene Vans was only a one time thing."
