"Hey," Michael greeted the moment she had sat down in the back seat with him while his driver turned the engine on, pulling out of her driveway. "How are you?"
"I feel like l've been hit by a freaking truck." Vanessa answered honestly, hating how her hangover headache had come at her in full force.
One of the damn reasons why she never drank, but she really couldn't complain because yesterday's drink was very much needed. Digging through the drink compartment beside him, Michael pulled out a bottle of fruit juice.
"Here, this should help."
Vanessa hesitated, but nonetheless, accepted it.
"Thanks."
After a sip or two, her headache seemed to have reduced. She stared at the container in awe.
"Wow, this is good. What product is it?" She turned the bottle over and scanned it with her eyes.
"My company's." Came Michael's answer. "We're working branching out from the IT department."
