Seeing that any second later Clarissa would start crying, Rex chuckled and reached out to pat her head.
"I am joking"
"I need to visit my mother"
Clarissa eyes were still watery as if she suffered an injustice and her face turned into a pout as she hit his chest with lightly.
"Don't joke about things like that," Rex took the opportunity to tease her a bit further.
"It seems that only Laura has shown her feelings"
"A certain someone still hasn't"
"I wonder if she really loves me"Clarissa's face turned an even deeper shade of red as she hesitated. Slowly, she leaned closer, closing her eyes but Rex had already took the opportunity to press his own over hers. He wanted to make a deep exchange but before he had the chance to Clarissa bolted away.
Looking at the direction where Clarissa ran away, he didn't chase her knowing that she needed time. He needed to make moves on her slowly, making her get used to it.
"Look, you made her leave"
"She left but you didn't yet"
"When are you leaving to visit your mother"
"Around three to four days later"
His hands started to get dishonest touching Laura's thighs.
"What are you doing"
She slapped his hands lightly but to no avail, he continued his dishonest work.

A sigh escaped her mouth. Rex also knew about it. Aunt Mei had a dark past, though she doesn't resent her children, she resents the father of theirs. Though Rex knew about it, it was not too much.
When Aunt Mei and these three sisters moved here, Rex lived with them since then making their relationship more strong. Even though he was young at the time, he was sensible and followed his mother's instruction to take care of his aunt. Though he didn't quite remember how, he did indeed take care of her from time to time and helped her.
"I will try to change it someday"
Saying that didn't make Laura relax but a bit restless.

He looked at her in the eyes. Laura saw his icy blue eyes which seemed brighter than when he arrived.

She pinched his waist and he stopped his dishonest hands as he held his waist which had been pinched.
Looking at Laura's back,

Feeling that Rex was thinking dishonestly about her again, Laura looked back but saw that he was just looking at his phone sitting at the rest area in the garden.

He almost sweated when he saw her looking back. Fortunately his speed was fast enough.

The sound of spear slicing through the air sounded in the garden. Sweat was all over his body. Even though he was a cultivator not a body refiner, he was still in the army so training his body was necessary. He was training in the mansion's garden half-naked with no clothes on his upper body showing his abdominal muscles.
Two days has passed since he gained two lovers and also started to train with his spear. Though he had no manual for now, he still knew the basics and had been training it since then. The first time he trained, his aunt saw him doing it and tried to stop him, hugging him and trying to stop him not to let him get hurt. It was quite funny trying to get his aunt off and reassure her.
As Rex finished his practice, he sat on the chair in the rest area, Laura came with a bottle of water and a towel. Even though he had it in his storage ring, he didn't stop but let Laura carry out her actions.
As for his relationship with his other two cousins, Sarah didn't talk to him much but she didn't hide from him anymore and didn't reject his presence as well as coming out at the dining table for eating but she didn't really talk much and whenever he asked her about something it was always a short and cold answer. His relationship with Alisia was becoming better.
He looked at the points he had accumulated and was surprised to see that he had enough for 20 pulls. Looking at the logs, he realized why he had gained so much. During these two days whenever he had a chance with either Clarissa or Laura, he was dishonest with them taking advantage whenever, it was definitely not his nature, ahem. Due to the amount of exchanges that were done also mostly done with Laura though he had to clear up the frost each time, he was able to get enough for 20 pulls at least in the novice wheel.

He pressed the ten roll with his mind and the wheel started to roll. Out of what he obtained, the most interesting was a skill and a plant. The previous time he got plants, they were alchemical resources which he knew by using his skill on them but this one, this one was different.

Similar to his thunder spear skill it was a yellow grade but it was a weapon, if it was a spear he might think about comparing with his own and see which one would be stronger. By now, Laura had finished wiping his sweat and was siting near him.

The next day, looking at the carriage which had arrived and the four people who had gathered at the front of the mansion, he waved his hand. They also waved their hands at him with a bit of reluctance.
He had already said his goodbyes and he wasn't staying for long at most finish the task within two to three days and come back. The carriage started to move and he looked at the scenery which was passing by. His current destination was the train station but his aunt told him no to walk there but called for a carriage. Though cars and such were the main necessity, it wasn't so often in these places.
