"Why do you ask about him"
"It's because …"
Rex explained that he was poisoned and that he was able to find out about it. It was a poison which would not be able to find normally under circumstances. He took out a vial and gave it to his mother.
"Burton"
A old man in a butler suit appeared after she yelled his name. Rex could feel that his mom included mana in that yell.
"What would you like me to do madam"
"Go find out what this vial includes and also find the whereabouts of that medical master Ramos"
"Do it quick"
She said in a cold tone to which Burton seemed a bit surprised but quickly acted since he knew that his master was quite angry.
"Dear, I am sorry you had to suffer like this"
"Blame mom"
"It was my fault that you had to suffer like this"
Her eyes were teary as she hugged Rex once more. Rex was shaking from his mom violent hug. He was almost dizzy from the shake but was able to stop his mother. Tears were glistening in her eyes. It took sometime for him to coax her.
"It's fine mom"
"I also have something to show mom"
He took out a plant in a pot from his storage ring.
"Is it a gift for mom"
"Yes and no"
"Mom, do you know what this plant is"
She shook her head because she didn't know about it.
"This is the CrimsonVine Sapling"
"It is a plant rumoured to be extinct…."
Isabella listened with great interest.
"So it can be a potential wine"
"I want to test it, Mom" "And if it turns out great, it could also benefit..."
"Don't mind if it's successful"
Putting her fingers on his mouth, Isabella interjected.
"You can use it in your own name"
"I'll help you"
"Mom is happy that you thought of this for me but I would like it if you were the one to have this success"
Listening to the next words of his mother, he knew that his mother wanted him to have success and make his name greater so that his future would be better instead of making her name bigger. It was not that she didn't trust the vine would not turn out to be good wine it was that she wanted her son to have the biggest share of the pie. After all he still had a barony to manage. Though he could get help from her, too much would hinder him and it would not be good for his reputation.
"I will let Ayana help you to grow it in your barony"
Rex nodded and continued chatting with his mother when Burton arrived.
"Madam, I have found out that it is a poison made from the venom a Nightfang Serpent, a rare creature and several other ingredients which seem to be equally rare."
"I still need further research but it should be that it is a timed poison. There are some reagents which are slowing down the destruction"
"As for the medical master Ramos, it seems that he has gone missing since the last time he had came here"
"The last sighting of him was in Duskwind but it is still a rumour"
"Duskwind, isn't that related to her"
"Is she the one who instigated this"
"Mom, don't jump to conclusions yet"
"It could be a ploy to create discord between you and her, allowing the real mastermind to benefit.""You're right. But..."
Rex held her hand as he explained softly to coerce her.
"I've already dealt with the poison. I just wanted to inform you because other people would benefit and you need to be careful especially since there are dishonest people here" "Especially the one standing right beside us."
Then quickly five shadows appeared near Burton. They held his hand and legs and stopped him from moving
"Madam, I don't know the meaning of this"
"Young master, I don't know why you would suspect me out of everyone"
"I was the one who watched you grow up"
"I have served here since the birth of Madam"
Isabella had a difficult expression on her face.
"Son, maybe…"
"Trust me mom"
"Shut his mouth"
One of the shadows immediately pulled out something and stuffed it into the old man's mouth. Rex walked near Burton and reached into his suit's compartment. He pulled out Burton's storage component which was a keychain. He immediately used his identification skill on it.
"Destroy the formation for me"
"Try to use the biggest force you can instead"
When trying to destroy a storage ring's formation, most of the time is done with slow and steady destruction trying to not trigger the safety mechanism otherwise it would destroy everything inside but what Rex said was the reverse of it.
One of the shadows who were on the side held it but hesitated for a moment.
"Just do it, I won't blame you if you used your full force"
"If you didn't, I would"
Rex ordered serious and cold as he said this, hesitating no longer the shadow used the strongest mental force he could and the formation was destroyed instantly. The shadow was a bit surprised but handed it back to Rex.
Rex rummaged through the ring's contents.
"Burton, you already have the phone which was given by my mother"
Taking out a phone which was given to every employee which was necessary for business related operations.
"Well, well, Burton. What's this?"
"What do we have here.."
Rex pulled out a second phone, identical to the one which was taken out before.
"Trying to keep some secrets, are we?"
"Let's just say you just wanted to keep your privacy with your family, oh wait"
"I'm sorry, I forgot"
"You don't have any relatives, you are an orphan"
Rex said the words with no remorse nor a shred of apology.
"I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you just wanted some privacy"
Rex walked around the place. Each of his step was the only noise in the silent room.
"Armed with a destruction of data if a wrong password was entered I see"
"Maybe it will work with this secret keypad"
Rex said as a pad with numbers appeared was released from a side of the phone. He connected the phone to a TV screen so that everyone could see it.
"Very fun to use, how about making me one as well, Burton"
"The password, let me just enter these few numbers"
He pressed each number slowly. Each number he pressed even though Burton didn't show any signs of anxiousness. Inside his heart, a storm was raging.

The buttons were pressed one after another, with the second last one pressed,
'It seems that it won't be leaked'
That was the thought he had before he saw what Rex continued to say.
"Ohh right, I almost forgot it was changed last two days ago"
The password's second last word was deleted and placed with another and the last button was pressed and the phone opened.
"Look what we have here"
Messages upon messages were sent with an unknown person.
"Or maybe this"
He looked into one of the files that was sent to the person. A gasp was heard from Isabella upon seeing it. It was a design series of clothes which would be released. Isabella realized why her business had been a bit more stagnant in these years. Rex looked at the old man who was now sweating as he did something.
"Are you perhaps looking or this"
Rex showed it like a magic trick, his hand was turned and what appeared after it turned back was a small needle with a pack. The old man finally showed a reaction on his face, a look of surprise and fear. The needle would pierce the pack which included toxin which would kill himself.

Announcements: The news would be that there is a tag change. I have decided to write lemons, r18 a few chapters. I was thinking of not writing at the start but chose to write it. I have never really written lemons before so hopefully it won't be too bad. The lemons would start its appearance probably after 10 or so chapters I think. I am not sure of the order of the chapters yet.
