"Understood."
Obito nodded slightly, his black pinwheel-like Sharingan spinning.
The next moment, the two of them stepped into the Kamui dimension together.
Inside the Kamui dimension, Killer Bee had already fully transformed into his Tailed Beast form, taking on the appearance of the Eight-Tails, Gyūki.
A towering behemoth, standing at nearly sixty meters tall, with the head of a bull, the torso of a man, and eight massive octopus-like tails extending from its lower body.
Its upper body was packed with explosive muscle, radiating sheer power.
It looked like a beast that could take a serious beating—or rather, one that could dish one out!
The moment Gyūki saw the two figures appear, it let out a deep, resounding roar.
"Tailed Beast Eight Twists!"
Wrapping its massive tentacles around itself, it began spinning rapidly, forming a colossal storm over a hundred meters high that surged toward them.
"Holy shit!"
Obito flinched upon entering.
This guy had no sense of honor—going for a sneak attack right off the bat!
Seeing the monstrous windstorm rolling toward them, both Madara and Obito instantly activated their powers.
"Susanoo!"
Two towering figures—one blue, one green—manifested side by side.
Glancing at the approaching tornado, both warriors wore sneering grins.
If Susanoo could talk, it would probably say, "Pfft, is that all?"
The "Tailed Beast Eight Twists"—a move strong enough to flatten a forest spanning dozens of miles—whirled violently before them.
(High-speed spin, wide-range effect.)
Yet, despite all that spinning, it ultimately amounted to nothing more than a slight breeze brushing against the armor of the Susanoo.
By the time Obito and Madara took their next breath, the minuscule damage had already regenerated.
Seeing the still-rotating tornado-like beast, Obito acted fast, gripping his enormous blade—longer than Gyūki itself—and swinging it in a powerful strike.
"The hell are you spinning for?! Annoying bastards like you make my head hurt! Trying to whirl us to death or what?!"
Boom!
Gyūki was sent flying, tentacles unfurling mid-air as it landed and steadied itself, shaking its dizzy head.
Looking up at the two colossal figures of light, the Eight-Tails suddenly felt... small.
It had always thought of itself as pretty big, but now...
This was ridiculous!
Who could possibly stand against something like that?!
Killer Bee started rapping his woes.
"We ain't got a chance, got nowhere to run~ Think fast now, what should be done~"
As the two monstrous warriors loomed closer, Gyūki hesitated before speaking.
"Maybe... we should try a Tailed Beast Bomb?"
Sitting atop Gyūki's head, Killer Bee bobbed his head rhythmically.
"Well then... let's give it a shot."
Gyūki opened its "tiny mouth," gathering the opposing forces of Yin and Yang chakra.
A dark violet sphere, pulsating with terrifying energy, began forming.
"Continuous Tailed Beast Bombs!"
As a series of these deadly orbs were fired toward them, Obito's eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Grandpa Madara, let me handle this!"
Like a batter gripping a baseball bat, Obito raised his sword, eager to start swinging.
"One... two... oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit!"
After successfully deflecting the first two, Obito utterly failed to intercept the rest.
All of them smashed directly into Susanoo's massive frame.
Madara sighed, rubbing his temples.
"Sigh... my idiot grandson..."
If only Obito had missed just one attack.
The way those Tailed Beast Bombs were spaced, he should've been able to bat most of them away... but he dodged them instead?!
A wave of catastrophic energy exploded outward, the impact shining like a second sun.
As the dazzling light faded, Gyūki widened its massive eyes, staring ahead.
"There's no way they're completely unscathed after that, right?"
Through the fading light, the towering blue Susanoo stood—battered, torn.
"That was insane!" Obito gasped, still shaken.
If Gyūki had fired off a few more rounds, it might have actually broken through his Susanoo!
Too risky!
And to make things worse, he couldn't phase through attacks in the Kamui dimension!
"Grandpa Madara, your grandson is... deeply moved—shaken, even. Maybe you should take over from here?"
Madara's Susanoo took a bold step forward, a cruel smile forming on his lips.
"That works for me, Obito."
Gyūki glanced at the grinning warrior before him, then at the twin blades in his hands, each one longer than its own body.
"W-Wait!"
Raising a thick arm, it gulped nervously.
"There's no need to fight. I think we can talk this out."
Madara's wicked grin only deepened.
"Talk? So you can keep spitting out those ridiculous rhymes to mock me?"
Killer Bee's eyes widened in indignation.
"Fool~ Ya fool!"
"You call my rhymes ridiculous? Hah! Don't speak on what you don't understand!"
Gyūki groaned, covering its face with a tentacle.
"Bee, you idiot, now we're screwed."
Madara's laughter grew louder, his tone turning ever more chilling.
"Hahahahaha! Bold! I like it!"
"You're the first brat to be so insolent before me. I'll personally educate you on the proper order of things."
Obito covered his eyes, unable to watch what was about to happen.
(/ω·\*) Peeking through his fingers…
"Susanoo!"
"Aaaaarghhhhhh!"
"Susanoo— Slash!"
"Uggghhhhhhh!"
"Susanoo—Eclipse Strike!"
Gyūki had been beaten so badly, it could barely make a sound.
"...Ya...me...te...ku...da...sa..."
After a long while, Madara finally exhaled in satisfaction and deactivated his Susanoo.
Obito followed suit, then nudged the unconscious Killer Bee lying on the ground with slight concern.
"Grandpa Madara, you didn't kill him, right?"
Madara let out a hearty laugh.
"Relax, Obito. I always exercise restraint."
Obito stared at him in disbelief.
Beating someone unconscious and then going on a prolonged rampage... that's your idea of restraint?!
Still uneasy, he checked Killer Bee's pulse.
Finding that he was still barely alive, Obito finally sighed in relief.
"Phew~ Good, good."
He didn't want any unnecessary delays in their plan to create the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki!
Pulling out two scrolls from his robe, Obito grinned.
"Grandpa Madara, that's all the Tailed Beasts gathered."
"Aren't you excited? Because I sure am!"
Madara nodded firmly, a rare look of emotion in his eyes.
"Of course. Do you know how long I've waited for this day?"
"I should be the one thanking you, Obito."
"Without you, this would have taken far longer."
As Obito worked on setting up the Edo Tensei formation, he turned back with a cheeky grin.
"Grandpa Madara, no need to thank me, really!"
"For the lasting peace of the shinobi world, this is all worth it."
Madara's heart clenched at those words. He even felt a little choked up.
After all these years... finally, someone willing to walk this path with him, to support his dream!
You see this, Hashirama?!
Damn right!
