Chapter 3 - Team (Part 2)

In the northeast of the country lies the Altura District, home to the Air Clan, a realm of soaring heights and boundless skies. At its center towers Altura Mountain, its peak piercing the heavens and shrouded in perpetual mist. Floating islands drift around the mountain, connected by shimmering light bridges and surrounded by cascading waterfalls that vanish into the clouds below. The district embodies weightless beauty and serene power, a haven where air elementals refine their mastery over the infinite skies.

Atop Altura Mountain stands Zephyrion's Spire, the Air King's palace, a masterpiece of alabaster stone carved with intricate wind motifs. Its towers stretch upward like whispers of the wind, reflecting the Air Clan's reverence for freedom and the unseen forces of nature.

On one of the floating islands—Island 6—connected to Altura Mountain by a light bridge, lives Orion. A lean and athletic boy with silver hair and sky-blue eyes, Orion exudes a free-spirited, humorous, and optimistic personality. He is the peacemaker of the island and a staunch defender of its people.

Orion always believed he was destined for something extraordinary. The skies, vast and infinite, had always called to him. That call found its answer the day he met Kai.

Kai wasn't an ordinary eagle. With feathers like molten gold and eyes as sharp as the mountain winds, he seemed almost otherworldly. Orion had stumbled upon him during a hike to the cliffs, where Kai had been tangled in a hunter's net, his wings bruised but his spirit unbroken. It took weeks of care and patience, but eventually, Kai began to trust him. Their bond was forged in silence and shared glances under starlit skies.

To Orion, Kai wasn't just a pet. He was a companion, a guardian, and a reminder that freedom could never be caged. On days when Orion felt small beneath the weight of the world, Kai would spread his mighty wings, reminding him of the endless sky waiting just beyond.

That evening, Orion awoke from his afternoon nap to find Kai standing tall with a scroll in his beak.

"What's it, Kai?" Orion asked as he took the scroll. Kai dropped it into his hands and perched nearby, his golden feathers gleaming in the sunset.

Orion opened the scroll. It began with, **"ORDER FROM AIR KING."**

> "You have been selected as the guardian of the nation 'Eryndor' by the mighty seer of the nation, 'Oracle.' You are to join Team Elemental and arrive at the Oracle's Grove within five days without delay and without any palace assistance. This is a reward, not a punishment, Sir Orion."

"They called me Sir?" Orion exclaimed in shock. Even Kai tilted his head as if equally surprised. "Well, I guess it's time to show everyone who I really am!" he said, tapping his sword with a confident grin.

"Let's get ready, Kai. We're about to show those pompous nobles what we're made of," Orion declared. Kai nodded, his sharp eyes gleaming with excitement.

Nestled in the verdant western part of Eryndor, the Forest Cave District is a breathtaking expanse of natural beauty and earthy tranquility. Towering trees with sprawling canopies form an emerald ceiling, and sunlight filters through in shimmering patterns, illuminating moss-covered ground and trickling brooks. Hidden within this vast forest are countless caves, their interiors adorned with glowing crystals and ancient carvings that echo the Earth Clan's enduring legacy.

At the heart of this district lies Terran Hall, the Earth King's cave palace. A colossal cavern with walls glittering with emerald and amber crystals, its vast chambers are supported by natural stone pillars carved over centuries. Terran Hall serves as the hub for the Earth Clan's strength and unity, a testament to their deep-rooted connection to the land. Surrounding the palace, the tribes of the Earth Clan live harmoniously, protecting the sacred Heartwood Caverns, the spiritual source of their elemental power.

Though divided into tribes, the Earth Clan gathers annually at the Heartwood Caverns for a grand festival celebrating their unity and resilience.

Lyra, a girl from the Tiger Tribe—worshipers of the Lord Tiger—is beloved by her parents and community. Stocky and strong, with brown hair and green eyes, Lyra exudes loyalty, wisdom, and quiet determination. She speaks in thoughtful, measured sentences and prefers action over words. Skilled in agriculture and herbal knowledge, she also possesses extraordinary agility and speed, gifts from her connection to the Lord Tiger.

When the Leader of the Tiger Tribe announced that the Earth King had chosen Lyra to represent the Earth Clan in Team Elemental, the village erupted in joy.

"It's your time to accomplish your dream, Lyra. Go and make us proud," her mother said, hugging her tightly.

"Yes, I will, Mother. I will heal everyone, including this country," Lyra replied, her green eyes shining with determination.

"You must leave for the Oracle's Grove immediately," her father added, a proud smile on his face.

"It's not that far from here," Lyra said with a laugh. "I'll reach there in two days."

The Leader of the Tiger Tribe raised an eyebrow. "You seem confident."

"I am," Lyra replied, her voice steady. She knew this was her moment—a chance to bring honor to her tribe and fulfill her destiny as a healer and protector.
