Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2:THE TRAINING OF RING MASTER NOW BEGINS!

At an Open Field Near the Town

-Rocky and Raghavan stood under a big tree, its branches providing some much-needed shade as the sun began to set. Raghavan sat on a nearby rock, looking serious yet thoughtful.

"First, let me tell you about the rings and their powers," Raghavan began. "These rings are very important to every individual's life. About 549 years ago, some people say that a white light fell near our town, and suddenly a ring appeared on every human's finger. These rings are the source of power, and we can apply their abilities to any tool or even to our body parts. These powers include elements like fire, air, water, and lightning, among others. The powers vary with different rings and different people. Sometimes, though rarely, the powers can be the same."

-Rocky listened intently, eager to learn.

"When these rings appeared," Raghavan continued, "every newborn baby was also born with these rings on their fingers. We had to adapt and integrate these rings into our daily lives. Due to these rings, many wars have occurred. There are also natural rings found fallen on the ground that are overpowered. One of these rings is held by our Ring Master."

Rocky's eyes widened with curiosity and determination.

"Every human is born with one or two rings, but rarely, like you, some are born with three," Raghavan said, pointing to Rocky's fingers. "But having more rings doesn't automatically make you powerful. You have to gain skills and train very hard if you want to become a Ring Master."

-Raghavan then added, "Firstly, we need to properly activate your rings so you can use them beneficially."

-Raghavan continued, "Every five years, a Wielder exam is conducted, in which many teenagers participate when they turn 15. Participants come from different towns. There are six towns in our nation, and our town is the biggest and also the oldest. That's why the exam is always conducted here. If you want to become a Ring Master, you have to become a Ring Wielder, who protects the village and completes missions assigned by the Ring Master. When you get selected, a group of four Wielders is formed, and you have to do every mission together with teamwork."

Raghavan stood up, his expression becoming more intense. "Now enough of this. Let's start training. From now on, for the next three years, I am your trainer. After three years, the Wielder exam will be conducted, and you will participate."

-Rocky, full of excitement, exclaimed, "Let's get started!"

-Rocky then made a very thoughtful face and asked

"Why are you even training me? What's your gain?"

-Raghavan said with seriousness and a little smile

"Gain? You will get to know later.

-Raghavan, with a determined look, stood up from the rock. "Let's start your training," he said, his voice firm and unwavering.

Rocky, filled with excitement and a newfound sense of purpose, nodded eagerly. "I'm ready," he declared.

Raghavan stood in front of Rocky, his eyes sharp with intent. "First, you have to focus all your ring energy into your whole body," he instructed. "Make it flow from your head to your toes."

Rocky took a deep breath, closing his eyes to concentrate. He tried to sense the rings' energy within him, feeling it pulse through his veins.

But nothing happened. He tried again and again, five to six times, but still, nothing.

Frustrated, Rocky opened his eyes and looked at Raghavan. "Teacher, I cannot sense any energy," he admitted, feeling a bit disheartened

Raghavan replied with attitude

"hmmhh...! So, you think it's that easy? It's not a game of 5 or 6 days. You have to train hard."

Rocky began to try again. Day 2 passed, Day 3 passed....

2 months passed...........

Rocky now sensed the ring energy flowing through his body. The hard work was paying off.

Raghavan sat near a tree, observing Rocky as he trained some distance away. "Now, concentrate all your energy in your punch and hit that tree," Raghavan instructed.

Rocky concentrated all his energy into his punch and hit the tree.

"KA-BOOM"

Raghavan said,

"Good, but don't produce that much energy at once. You'll get exhausted quickly."

-Raghavan then stood up and looked at Rocky with a serious expression. "Now let's get into some harsh and advanced training as you've activated your rings properly," he said.

-The next phase of Rocky's training began with even more intensity. Rocky found himself running through obstacle courses, practicing combat techniques, and learning how to control and conserve his energy. Each day was a test of endurance and willpower.

1.5 Years Later

-Under the blistering sun, Rocky continued his training. Now, he appeared to be more flexible, and he had been rigorously training in combat techniques and martial arts. He was faster than ever before, focusing his energy on his hands and feet, which allowed him to move with insane speed and increase his attacking prowess.

-Raghavan, watching proudly, said

"Now it's time to do a duel. This is totally a hand-to-hand combat, but remember all participants can use different tools like swords, hammers, etc. So, let's start."

Rocky, fully confident, replied, "Yeah!"
