-At the shining morning, during the time of sunrise, Rocky arrived at the training ground. The early light bathed the area in a warm, golden glow. Raghavan was nowhere to be seen, but Rocky didn't let that deter him. He started his training with some physical workouts, doing push-ups, sit-ups, and stretches.
-As he was finishing a set of push-ups, Raghavan finally appeared, walking towards him with a casual stride.
"Hey," Raghavan greeted.
-Rocky, with an amused grin, replied, "Always late, hmm?"
-Raghavan, adopting an exaggerated crying accent, said, "You don't know how tough the life of an adult is…"
-Rocky chuckled and put his hand on Raghavan's shoulder in a funny manner, trying to comfort him,
"There, there, old man. Maybe one day, I'll be as overwhelmed as you."
-Raghavan, looking mock-offended, shot back,
"Who are you calling old? I am very much famous with the women of our town, you know? And I have a very big reputation among the men too."
-Both Rocky and Raghavan began to laugh, their camaraderie evident.
Then Raghavan said,
"Now listen, today's training is going to be a bit harsh, so be ready."
-Rocky, with a confident face, replied,
"I am always ready."
-Raghavan nodded, his expression turning serious,
"As you know, you've only been able to activate two rings so far, but we have only 1.5 years left before the Wielder exam. We need to activate your third ring to make you more powerful. To do this, we need to focus on your weaknesses. I'm going to close your eyes with this cloth and throw stones in any direction. You must throw this stick where you hear the stones land. As your observation level increases, your third ring will activate sooner."
-Rocky took the cloth and let Raghavan tie it around his eyes, blocking out all light. He gripped the stick tightly, his senses on high alert. He could hear the rustle of leaves, the distant chirping of birds, and the faint sound of Raghavan moving around him.
"Ready?" Raghavan asked.
-Rocky nodded, every muscle in his body tense with anticipation.
-Raghavan began to throw stones in different directions. The first stone landed to Rocky's right, but he missed. He tried again and again, failing several times.
"Concentrate on the vibrations in the air and follow them. Keep your ring energy flowing, and it will guide you," Raghavan advised.
-Hours passed as Rocky practiced. Gradually, he felt improvement in his body, his movements becoming more precise. At one point, he threw the stick perfectly, hitting the target.
Rocky exclaimed excitedly, "Let's go!"
-Raghavan, with a knowing smile, said,
"Don't speed your horses. Let's continue."
-On the next attempt, Rocky missed again. Raghavan, with a serious teaching expression, reminded him,
"I told you, this is not that easy."
-After some more time and effort, Rocky's persistence paid off. He threw the stick perfectly, his observation skills honed. Suddenly, he felt a surge of power. His third ring activated, and he sensed a new energy within him—the power of gravity.
-Rocky's first ring was water, his second ring fire, and now, his third ring, gravity. The realization filled him with a renewed sense of purpose and strength.
-Their training was off for the day, and evening had already fallen. Rocky and Raghavan walked back to town together, the sky painted in hues of orange and pink. As they neared the town, they saw a friend of Raghavan's with red eyes and red hair, his coat covering his neck, sitting in a blacksmith's shop sharpening his sword.
-The man called out in a loud voice,
"Heyyyy, Raghavan, oyeee, come here, come here...!"
-Raghavan turned to him and, with a happy expression, said,
"Oh, Raghav, how are you doing?"
-Raghavan walked towards his friend along with Rocky,
"Long time no see, how are you?" he asked.
-Raghav, in an excited manner, replied
"I was on a long mission, I am fine. And who's that kid?"
-Raghavan introduced Rocky proudly,
"Oh yeah, he is Rocky, son of Kaito-sir. I'm training him for the upcoming Wielder exam."
-Raghav, looking a little shocked, said,
"Ohh, son of Kaito-sir! So you are training under Raghavan. That's great! It means you'll definitely become a Wielder."
Rocky instantly replied,
"I will, and nice to meet you."
-Then raghavan whispered in rocky's ear,
"rockyyyy…, he is a ring captain of ring wielders"
-Rocky, in a shocking and respectful manner, quickly said,
"Oh, I am so sorry. I need to be more respectful, sir."
Raghav chuckled and patted Rocky on the shoulder.
"No need to be so formal, kid. You're already on the right path. Just keep up the hard work."
