It was the disturbance near Kanames house which set his mind at unease. Nobody ever came to his house, and now it made him worry about something was wrong. His arrays alerted him of someone of great strength at his barrier, his arrays he set now alerting him through the various channels he built into his house through meticulous carving and imbuing of spiritual and resentful energy. It almost made his house feel like as if it was infested by hollows.
'Eve, what do you think?' Kaname asked Eve as she appeared beside him in her holographic screen form. [I have a feeling the worlds destiny is moving on its course] said Eve and Kaname had a feeling on what she meant about that, and it made him feel somewhat hollow in the stomach. 'I guess the plot is moving forward huh' he thought with a hollow after tone as he made his way downstairs and opened his door to see an unexpected visitor.
On the boundary of his property was a man with a green and white bucket hat and his clog sandles. He wore a green yukata with a black ish robe drapped overhim. "Hello Kisuke" said Kaname as he formed a hand seal and let him in. Kisuke seemed to be in analysis mode and he was quite curious on the environment and how it kept him out, considering how much pressure he was putting on the barriers and they did not fold or even break or bend.
"How did you do it?" asked Kisuke as he was analysing the barriers that surrounded the place. "Wanna talk about it over tea? Question for question" said Kaname as they entered his home and the barriers then began covering the outside of his home as well. "Do you have any preferences Kisuke?" asked Kaname as he opened his cabinets and looked around. "Not really" said Kisuke as he looked around as was able to spot faint markings etched onto the ground and even the table. 'Is it a type of kido? It eminates spiritual energy and the markings, direction?' thought Kisuke as Kaname finally set down a cup of steeming hot tea, oolong tea to be exact.
"So, what are you here for?" asked Kaname as he took a sip of his tea. "Well, besides some news, I now want to know how your security thing works, well I wanna know how you work in general" said Kisuke as his cang hung loosely on his fingers. "I suppose the news is important if your delivering in person. How about this. We can play a game of questions and the news can come after, fair?" asked Kaname as Kisukue nodded.
"Okay, I'll go first. How does your security system work?" asked Kisuke. "Arrays" Kaname answered him. It was short but it was the truth. Kisuke creased his eyes at this turn of play and he smiled a bit. "How does your Kido work?" asked Kaname as Kisuke answered "Incantations" with a snicker in his tone. Kaname felt his eyes twitch but he felt it was fair considering what he did. "Alright fine, I'll answer briefly. It works using arrays, geometric formations, imbued with spiritual energy to cast an effect written within the array" said Kaname. Kisuke nodded and responded in kind. "Kido works through molding our reiryoku with incantations to achieve an affect with strength varying depending on level like level 99 is stronger than level nine" said Kisuke.
Kaname and Kisuke talked for a while as the night went on and on, each learning from each other the inner workings of each others world and abilities. They each felt it was a nice conversation, especially Kisuke who wanted to know the origin, at least what he could get out of the conversation, about Kaname's unusual powers. They felt like a hollow in nature, the resentful aura which he surely keeps constrained must be at the lieutenant level, maybe even captain level if he wanted to stretch it abit.
"So, what was the news you wanted to tell me?" asked Kaname as he slipped at his tea, refilling it from the tea pot which sat down at his table. "Well, you know the Kuchiki girl?" asked Kisuke. "Rukia right?" asked Kaname as Kisuke nodded his head. "Yes, something has happened and I wanted to ask you something" said Kisuke. Kaname narrowed his eyes as he knew what was coming. "She has been taken back to Soul Society, possibly for execution" said Kisuke as he analysed Kanames reaction to the news.
Kanames reaction was not what Kisuke expected. His face was calm and his reactions was as subtle as a breeze, as if he was expecting this. "You knew this was gonna happen, didn't you?" asked Kisuke as Kaname looked him in the eyes. "Yes, because she gave her powers to Ichigo, no?" said Kaname as Kisuke nodded his head.
"I suppose that's true, but how is a human so aware of our own culture?" asked Kisuke as he narrowed his eyes. Kaname was surprised at the question and was ready to activate any array he had to get rid of the man, but decided coming up with a lie was easier.
"I had Rukia teach me" Kaname said, hoping his life was dumb enough it might work. Kisuke looked at him, as if debating going further, but decided it wasn't worth persuing. "Alright then, but I have another question" asked Kisuke as Kaname nodded for him to go on.
"Would you be willing to put your life on the line to help us rescue her?" asked Kisuke in all his seriousness. Kaname looked abashed at this question, but he truly had to think about it. In his defense, he was not someone who wanted to save every person he came across. Rukia though, he grew fond of the shinigami girl and that right there decided his answer.
"Yes"
Kisuke now had a wide smile on his face as he got the answer he was after. "I figured you were that type. So, can you spare ten days for some training?" asked Kisuke as Kaname looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Why?" Kaname asked as Kisuke began to speak.
"While I know you are proficient, extra training so you can face captains would be good, especially if you can raise your level again like during the Menos Grande Incident" said Kisuke as he now waved a fan straight from nowhere. Kaname mulled it over before he gave his word and would meet up tomorrow.

Kisuke was standing outside his shop, waiting for the last straggler for his plan to come together. Ichigo was already down there, training with the twins. He then saw a shadow on the horizon as he spotted Kaname.
"Well, I was getting worried there" said Kisuke as Kaname nodded his head, not really paying attention to his antics. "Of course, I wanna get some training in. Any type of training is useful" said Kaname as Kisuke nodded and led his little trainee inside.
