When Kaname went down to a room which Kisuke built with kido, he had apprehensions considering Kisuke's strange character. A mad scientist type with some morals which affected the lines he would cross. As we entered the space which looked like a replica of the outside, the screams of a strawberry shinigami could be heard.
"Your training seems intense" Kaname said to Kisuke as he watched Ichigo get chased around while outside his physical body. The person chaising him around was a little girl by the name of Ururu Tsumugiya. "Yep, Ururu is making his soul go through a workout" said Kisuke as he lead me to a spot that was occupied by Tessai and the other kid, Jinta Hanakari.
"So what am I gonna be working on?" Kaname asked Kisuke as he was waving his fan. Kisuke then pointed at Tessai who waved at Kaname with a smile on his face. "You will be working with Tessai and Me on kido and sword techniques" said Kaname as he felt he was gonna be in for a rough time.
Day 1
For the first day, Tessai began to lecture Kaname on the basics of Kido. "The core of Kido is visualization. In order to successfully cast kido, an image needs to be in ones mind, like so" said Tessai as he chanted "Bakudou #1: Sai" and Kaname felt something tried to bind him as his spiritual energy enabled him to resist it. "Not bad resistance' said Tessai as he began to instruct me in the basics of both bakudou and hadou versions of kido.
Day 2
On the second day, Tessai told Kaname that his control over his reiryoku was exceptional for someone so young and new to kido. 'Yeah, thank the memories of Wei Wuxian' thought Kaname as he was refining his control over the kido spells. He had a talent in spiritual spell casting and Kisuke and Tessai acknowledged that.
"He seems pretty good huh" said Kisuke as he and Tessai watched Kaname practice and refine his kido with great precision and quickness. It was quite odd for them to see someone from the mortal world have such ease at it, but then again, Kaname was not a normal person from the living world. "Yes, his connections to spirituality amaze me" said Kisuke.
Day 3
On the third day, Tessai decided to teach Kaname the more advance spells of kido. "Now remember Kaname, Kido spells of this caliber can have destructive capabilities to destroy cities, so be careful on who and where you are using it" said Tessai as he began giving Kaname the incantations up to around level 90 Kurohitsugi( Black Coffin). Tessai then set up a practice doll and told Kaname to practice using the new Kido spells on it.
Day 4
"I fear we have made a monster" said Tessai as he began to test Kanames ability to adapt the spells into battle. He was terrified as soon as he was able to start using them proficiently in battle, he was becoming a terrifying force of nature.
"Hadou 57: Daichi Ten'you" Kaname chanted as the rubble around them began to fall under his control and began its assault barrage on Tessai who was blocking his Bakudou. He was sweating as Kaname was relentless with his attacks and his precise usage of reiryoku that left even the former kido corp master stun. "Kisuke, Help me!" he shouted as Kisuke got involved, using his own power to knock out Kaname. "Damn, he is a fighter" Kisuke laughed as Tessai looked like a mess.
Day 5
The pace of combat with Kaname and Tessai was speeding up tremendously. Kaname was refining and altering the ways of using kido in battle, like using the destructive kido to make debris for him to use as ammo, or using modifications to alter the destructive power of spells. He was even able to modify them for other purposes like concealment or even altering size.
This came with the fact he was making Tessai go serious in battle now, forcing him to use more and more powerful defensive kido like Dankuu which was ranked 81 in the bakudou scale of power. Also, Kanames cultivation training was going well, able to go through many stages, reaching the cusp of deity transformation, on the verge of break through which enhanced his physical and spiritual strength.
"Watch out Tessai!" shouted Kaname as he quickly deployed an array which congealed ribbons of resentment which bound Tessai by his foot. He uttered an incantation to fight it off, but Kaname was close enough for the final strike. "Hadou #1:Shou!" chanted Kaname with more force behind it than a normal Shou, and Tessai was the loser of their fight.
"Nice job Kaname! You really gave Tessai a run for his money" said Kisuke as he looked at the small wounds that Tessai sustained. He began to use kaidou, which he had knowledge of to heal Tessai of his afflictions, his wounds physically healing. "I think he passed your training huh, Tessai" said Kisuke as Tessai nodded. "He has good control of reiryoku and his ability to adapt kido to battle was phenomenal" said the big man as Kaname felt sheepish.
"It was due to you being a great teacher" said Kaname with a soft tone of deference. Tessai smiled and said "Your talent did help though, you can't deny it" said Tessai as he patted Kaname on the back, causing a small stumble to occur. As the day went on, Kisuke did analyze Kaname's abilities and found it interesting and could not wait to try and replicate.
As the night descended, Kaname was sitting in the middle of an array. The array was constructed to gather the loose reishi in the surrounding to his area as he absorbed and diffused the particles and energy in every corner of his body.
He felt he was close, and he just needed a little time. He was circulating in the endless night, and as he was going through his nth cycle, an epiphany seemd to be born in his head, and he felt he broke through to great ascension realm. "I done it" Kaname muttered as his reiatsu was flowing way to calmly for a break through, and he had Eve to thank for it. "Thank you Eve" said Kaname. [Your welcome] said Eve as they then rested, waiting for tomorrows training.
