Chapter 1 - Prologue: Pink

"You… you're one of them!" A man's voice echoed in the wide, dim corridor, his tone filled with disbelief. Red emergency lights pulsed overhead, and the relentless alarm signaling the battleship's assault blared through the metallic halls.

The man stood at least 5'10, clad in a sleek yet menacing black-and-white exoskeleton suit. His face was hidden beneath a featureless helmet with a streamlined black visor that reflected his surroundings. Jagged, sharp designs adorned his shoulders and chest, while wisps of white, smoke-like tendrils trailed behind him, resembling tattered cloth caught in a spectral wind.

Behind him, a massive glass viewport revealed the vast void of space, where intergalactic fleets clashed against a shared enemy. The enemy battleship he stood on shook violently, quaking under the onslaught of his own ally.

The corridor bore the scars of a fierce battle—walls riddled with holes and tears, debris scattered across the floor. Suddenly, a brilliant energy beam from the battle outside pierced the glass behind him, shattering it into countless shards. The beam melted through the wall just a few feet away, leaving behind a glowing, molten hole. The intense heat radiated in waves before a deafening explosion reverberated through the ship.

"Kael," a woman's voice called out, her tone calm yet commanding.

Kael's visor glinted as he turned his attention to the figure before him. She, too, wore an exoskeleton suit—hers a vibrant pink with a floating cube hovering in front of her.

While Kael's suit exuded a primal, almost barbaric energy with its jagged designs, hers was refined and elegant, accentuating her hourglass figure. Bolts of electricity crackled across her shoulders, chest, and legs, while the cube churned and shimmered as though it were alive.

"I'm going to kill you," Kael growled, his voice low and filled with menace. "I should have known better."

"You won't be able to," the woman replied, her voice brimming with unshakable confidence. "Kael Draven, you've achieved something no ordinary human could ever dream of. You are the strongest. You've surpassed limits that even the most advanced intelligent species cannot fathom. That Aegis… consider it a gift—my gift."

"Tch. You always have something to say, don't you, b*tch?" Kael spat, his frustration palpable. He clenched his fists, lowering his stance. "If you weren't good in bed, I might've trusted my instincts back then."

"Your foul mouth never changes," the Pink Primeval said with a sigh. "But you won't change anything, Kael, no matter how much you wish to."

"Wish?! I didn't wish for this!" Kael roared, his voice trembling with rage. The wisps trailing from his back billowed violently, responding to his emotions. "I was happy before your kind destroyed everything—my world! This wasn't my choice. It was yours. Yours and those psycho mass murderers you call the Anthi-Org!"

The Pink Primeval stood silently as another energy beam struck the wall nearby, the force shaking the corridor. By now, the air within the battleship had been completely vented into the vacuum of space. She raised her hand and plunged it into the floating cube, pulling out a massive broadsword two meters long, glowing with blue and pink energy.

"If you're determined to kill me," she said, her voice steady, "then let's end this once and for all. But know this, Kael: this time, I won't hold back."

"Hold back my ass!" Kael snarled. With a deafening roar, the floor beneath him erupted in a fiery explosion. The blast sent shards of glass and debris flying as the corridor disintegrated around him. Even the floors below buckled under the force of his jump, and the Anthi-Org battleship tilted dangerously from the impact. Amid the chaos, Kael has instantly appeared before her.

His fist pulled back to its fullest, the air around him humming with power. With a guttural cry, the White Aegis Prime struck with everything he had.

However, time seemed to slow down as the Pink Prime slashed with her broadsword, which resembled her suit. It was a simple attack, devoid of strength. Yet, defying natural physics, its speed was so blinding that in a split second, it touched Kael's chest.

Like a bolt of lightning, the White Aegis was hurled out of the Anthi-Org battleship, crashing violently into the ally coalition. One of the coalition's ships exploded in a burst of flame, the shockwave rippling through and damaging nearby cruisers.

The floating cube shifted, morphing into a pink door in front of the Pink Prime. She stepped through, and the surroundings transformed. Now, she stood in open space, where the White Primeval was already closing in. She raised a hand and caught Kael's neck. The force of her action sent them hurtling dozens of meters before she stabilized them both.

"You have been hiding…" Kael started, his voice strained as the hand around his neck tightened. His suit adjusted, allowing him to continue, "...your real strength."

"As I said, I'm not holding back anymore," the Pink Prime replied coldly.

"Kill me," Kael demanded, raising a hand and punching the Pink Primeval in the face. The impact unleashed a shockwave so immense it rattled the surrounding space. Ripples spread outward, shoving back some of the massive battleships. A few even erupted into flames.

"No," the Pink Prime said evenly, her tone unwavering. "I'm not that cold-hearted—not against someone I spent years having fun with."

"Kill me. Or I swear, to whatever the f*ck is above us, I'll kill you! I'll hunt you down to the very depths of the universe!" Kael bellowed, his voice a feral growl. He raised his hand and swung again.

Another ripple surged outward, shaking the battleships further. Yet the Pink Prime's head merely tilted to the side. Her visor remained unscathed, but Kael's gauntlet chipped away, exposing scar-covered fingers beneath.

"Hey! You two are at it again?"

"What's going on? We're only a few light-years out—don't fight! We're coming!"

"Is this another breakup? Seriously, this is why I hate relationships."

Three voices buzzed through Kael's helmet, but he ignored them, as did the Pink Prime.

"If you want to kill me," she said, releasing her grip on him, "you'll need more than that."

Kael launched himself forward the instant her hand let go. But before he could strike, his body froze in place. No, not his body—his suit. The White Aegis Prime wasn't responding.

"What the—?"

The Pink Prime had already raised her sword overhead. It radiated blue and pink light, the colors intertwining and shifting until they glowed with an icy hue.

"Kael Draven," she said, her voice steady, "you've led humanity and countless others to this point. But now, it's time to end this." With a swift slash of her sword, the White Aegis Suit disintegrated, breaking apart and exposing Kael's body.

Kael gasped, clutching at his throat as the vacuum of space pressed in. His body could withstand the cold, but he still needed oxygen to survive. His eyes widened in horror as the glowing blade stopped inches from his forehead.

"Goodbye," the Pink Prime said, her tone devoid of emotion. Light enveloped him, and a massive chunk of ice materialized, encasing Kael Draven inside.

The cube reverted into a door behind the frozen figure, and the Pink Prime gently pushed Kael and the remains of the White Aegis Suit inside.

When the ice vanished and the door reshaped into a cube once more, the space around her rippled. Three figures materialized, each wearing an Aegis Prime.

Suddenly, the fabric of space itself began to tremble. Dimensional rips opened, chaos erupting as the newcomers clashed with the Pink Prime.
