"I learned all about life with a ball at my feet."
That was a statement made by a football legend, Ronaldinho.
Believe me, there's no journey in life that you think you've past through or you are passing through, or challenges on your way, or fights that you wouldn't learn from the game of football.
By the way, kindly pay attention to this, it doesn't matter your gender, being it male or female (women play football anyways); it doesn't matter your interests, being a football fan or not; it doesn't matter how good you are at the game, being a star or novice. You are a player by creation. That is what you need to know. So, you see, it's not a choice, you can't escape the pitch. It is simply how the reality game of life works.
Everyone has a gift or more. Some are Goalkeepers, some are Defenders, some are Midfielders, some others are Attackers or Wingers or Strikers. The similarity there is that every player is a goal scorer.
In one way or another, every one has a goalpost to protect. A goalpost could be your reputation, or your home and family, or your interests, or your community or locality or country, or establishment, etc. You therefore become a goalkeeper of that thing that is precious to you.
In the same vien, we do have something to defend in life: a career, an honour, loved ones, etc.
We should also stand in the gap (middle) for people, especially those relying on us for assistance.
Furthermore, be an attacker, a fighter of evil, oppression. Fight for peace, fight against corruption, fight against infidelity.
