Chapter 2 - THE BALL

Everyone's eyes are on that little, round object on the field. Whoever is in possession of the ball, ensures they never let go of it.

How do the basketball players handle this little object? They handle it with care, and with skills in order to prevent it from getting into the wrong hands.

Whenever the ball is being drawn to a certain direction, left or right, it becomes a thing of great concern for both Teams.

It is understood that the closer the ball gets to Team's goalpost, the more pressurized they become. This is because they know the kind of havoc it could cost. It means, therefore, that though small the object looks, it is the most important on the field.

What does a ball represent in comparison to life? For a possessor of it, it represents the decisions and choices they make and the opportunity they've got. This is the reason why a player should first of all be excited and grateful when the ball gets to them, because it's an opportunity to be in possession of what everyone in the whole pitch is after, and which is why the player must also think carefully - it's his moment of decision. This precious thing shouldn't be wasted. Football players understand better how stressful and tasking it is to regain the possession of the ball.
