,,well I didn't expect anything like this on my first day in school after a while,, Zenis mumbled as he ran with James thought blood covered halls.
Whole day was weird but it just got worse when the principal announced something over the microphone and everyone suddenly started acting weird.
In the middle of the class, everyone except the magicians stood up and bit deeply into the flesh of the person across from them.
,,what the fuck?!,, Parker growled as he punched person who bite him into shoulder sending him fly across room.
Everyone from the magic circle was in different classes so everyone was on their own.
,,it's good you found me otherwise it would be bad,, James nodded ,,what's even going on? It feels like they're not themselfs,,.
Zenis stared at James with face saying 'really?' and continued their pace until they ran into a bunch of students and teachers blocking their way.
,,should we just blast past them?,, James suggested creating fire in his hand ready to burn them to ash.
,,we should focus on our goal to get into principal office, since it all started after his announcement,, Zenis stopped for moment gathering his thoughts.
,,Althought burning them would speed up process we shouldn't kill unless neccesary,, he exhaled in defeat.
No matter how fast Zenis wanted to get this nightmare over with, killing innocent people would bring troubles for them later.
James looked around a bit nervous searching for known face 'where is she?' he thought hopping his girlfriend is safe and sound.
Zenis noticed something and chuckled ,,our pickup is here,, he ran towards window without any word and jumped throught it shattering glass.
,,Zen-,, before James could finish hand caught Zenis by collar and pulled him up.
,,move already you dumbass!,, familiar voice appeared outside window 'Max?!' without thinking James ran like Zenis out of window escaping crazy flesh eating student as both Max and Zenis caught him and pulled him up.
,,ugh, you both should lose some weight, especially you Stir!,, Max pointed at James angrily, if it was just him he couldn't pull him up with his slender build, but with Zenis he somehow managed to do it.
In the end Max sat leaning against wall with heavy sigh ,,so what's the plan?,,
,,principal office,, Zenis said simply.
,,hell nah! I still have PTSD from that time we got caught because of Mason mutating the class pet!,, Max cried out.
,,rip hamster,, James mumbled sitting down too.
,,well how's your magic doing? Can handle whole trip there?,, Zenis tittled his head, he needed to know since his body couldn't handle much more pressure.
,,my body is heavy... I used everything from start and now this saving your asses drained me...,, Max closed eyes tired.
,,we should take break to recover, I can see you are not feeling best yourself Zenis,, James commented with heavy sigh.
,,alright, let's find empty classroom to recover,, Zenis nodded and with James's help they managed to drag Max into empty classroom.
At instant Max fell asleep on the ground thanks to lack of sleep and overusing his magic.
With heavy sigh Zenis sat on desk massaging his eyes, he couldn't use his eyes powers yet because his body couldn't handle it, so he used only magic draining energy from his body.
,,you look too tired, I doubt you'd use that much magic just to get throught those... Uhh flesh eating things, is something bothering you?,, James nodded at Zenis who had circles under his eyes and dry lips.
,,well...,, Zenis was about to start but quickly changed his mind remembering everything that happened in past months.
Meanwhile with Dazne
Looking at Ourka and Luna vomiting all over floor was not pleasant at all for Dazne.
,,better clean it up before God return,, she commented turning back to table.
,,what are you doing?!,, Luna cried out pointing at bloody table.
,,none of your business,, Dazne shrugged continuing.
,,it's real body isn't it..?,, Ourka breathed out.
At Ourka's comment Dazne looked back a little surprised eyeing Ourka 'seems like he was right' she thought.
,,indeed it's real body,, she nodded and gently pulled out eye from said body putting it into jar full of liquid.
This sight made Luna cry more and choke on her own vomit and tears.
,,get her out, she's just causing scene here and I can't concentrate,, Dazne exhaled annoyed taking out multiple organs from body.
,,yeah... Good idea, come on Luna, let's go back,, Ourka supported Luna helping her away from inhuman scenes.
,,b-but that body... That man...,, not being able to hold it back she vomited again crying harder.
After they left Dazne alone she stared at mess they made and then wih heavy sigh pulled out phone 'I should lock the door'.
As Zenis pick up the phone it took only few minutes for Dazne to explain whole situation to Zenis.
,,well... That's bad... Did they see your wine? They could get wrong idea,,
Dazne stared at bottle of wine laying on table thinking 'i completely forgot to put it away'.
,,I doubt it-,, as she was about to continue she heard from outside Luna freaking out.
,,I swear! She used their blood as drink! She had it in bottle like some kind of wine!!!!,,
Long silence between Zenis and Dazne was only interrupted by Luna's cries.
Heavy sigh escaped Zenis's mouth 'today is just getting better and better' he thought as he hanged up.
,,Christmas are soon here... Whoever decided this is good gift is psycho,, James mumbled eating snack.
As Zenis was chatting with James someone knocked at door making both of them jump a bit.
,,who's there?,, Zenis asked peeking throught small glass part of door.
,,it's me, your principal, open door,, known voice appeared behind door, indeed it was principal but there was something weird about him, not being able to see anything except his head was unsettling.
Nodding at Max James understood and quietly woke up Max helping him up and whispering something.
,,alright I'll open door so step away,, Zenis decided as he heard principal making few steps back.
Zenis slowly opened door and stepped back just to see principal's body covered in blood holding knife.
Principal rushed at Zenis with unnatural speed and before anyone could react he was right before him.
,,I have enough of you damn fuckers!,, voice above yelled as ceiling collapsed nearly hitting Zenis who moved away dodging barely.
The figure that landed at Principal's crushed body was covered with blood with pissed off face ready to kill anyone.
,, Parker? I thought you're supposed to be with Mason,, Zenis breathed out in disbelief.
Staring at Zenis, Parker wiped blood from his face with scowl ,,he didn't come to class,, he shrugged noticing James and Max tired out.
With smirk he walked to them laughing ,,you both look so fucking useless and weak! I bet you couldn't handle this situation alone,, he tapped Max's tired face.
Grabbing his hand and moving it away Zenis hold his wrist tightly ,,we should find others to make sure they're fine instead of fighting like kids,,. Zenis glared at Parker.
,,do you think you're in position to order me around?,, parker barked lifting fist ready to punch Zenis.
,,how would Mason react if he saw you acting like kid with powers not thinking about your next move?,,.
At his comment Parker slowly let his hand fall back down, Zenis was right, acting like idiot would bring him pleasure but it would also cause more troubles.
With sigh Zenis let go of Parker's wrist and pulled out small box ,,it's time to give Christmas gift to person responsible for this mess,,. He smirked making everyone shivers except for Parker who smirked back.
