Pokemon Pathos Chapter 2 Chapter 2 Father's Old Friend

Clyde finally sees Gateon Port after a long and bumpy ride, but something catches his eye. Near the sea lies a huge ship that dwarfs all the others in the area. Clyde, in a bit of shock, asks his parents, "Is...that...," as he moves his head toward the front of the vehicle. "That's right, kid, that's our ship," his father says with a slight smile. It's known as the SS. Anne. The Anne sails all over the world; she rarely visits the Orre Region because she is usually sailing to the other larger regions.

The Beech family parked in a nearby parking lot near the docks, Clyde's father sent out his Machoke. Flexing its muscles as it came out of its Pokéball. He then says to his Pokémon, "Alright, Machoke, I need you to go with the rest of the family inside the ship. I'm trusting you to carry the luggage. think you can do that?" Machoke already sprang into action as it was able to carry all of the family's luggage while being a bit of a showoff. Clyde's father just looks at his Pokémon and lightly smirks, saying, "You got it, muscle man."

"Okay, you guys can head onto the ship; I gotta wait on an old friend to deal with the car while we're gone, he says, turning to face his wife and son. "All right, then, try not to be too long; Clyde and I will go look for our room in the meantime," says Clyde's mother, nodding. They started to make their way to the dock in order to board the SS Anne.

A few minutes later, a man approaches Clyde's father holding a small rectangular package. "Mr. Beech, it has been a long time. How is the family doing? "There you are," he says, turning to face the man. They've been doing well. Did you bring the package, Eldes? "Of course, but I have to ask, are you really sure about giving this to your kid?" Eldes asks as he hands him the package. You are aware that there's a possibility that this might be a..." He interrupts Eldes before he can finish speaking. "Eldes, we're still in public. If at all possible, let's not talk about them in the open, but if this turns out to be what you believe, my wife and I have the tools to stop it.

"Alright then, does she know I'm here as well?" Eldes asks with a sigh. "Sort of... told her an old friend of mine," Clyde's father said. Eldes holds his tongue for a moment and says, "All right, I wish you both the best. One final question for you, says Eldes, "Why?" Clyde's father remarks, "To be honest, all I wanted was the return of our project."

Clyde's father then speaks with a bit of disdain in his voice. "My wife and I... were forced to work on this project. After the factory was... wrecked, we had to leave it to rot. It felt wrong... After everything, it just felt wrong to leave our work behind. I'm happy that you managed to retrieve it from the wreckage. Eldes tells him, "My pleasure, but I will still need the rest of my pay."

After giving the guy some cash from his pockets, Clyde's father adds, "There you go; that's the rest of your cut. Thanks, Eldes." Eldes, collecting the money, says, "Don't mention it, and if you don't mind, I think this is the last time I plan on dealing with anything with the organization anymore." I wish to keep myself as far away as I possibly can from it now on. "Of course, this was the only thing I wanted to use my I.O.U. for, but what are you planning to do now?" Clyde's father concurs with his stance. After everything, lead a life on the run?

Eldes displays a picture of himself and his brother. It depicts him with his sibling, who has blue hair.

Clyde's father expressed some sympathy for his longtime friend, saying, "I... am sorry to hear that. No matter where your brother is, I hope you locate him. Eldes walks away with a light smile." Thank you, but don't worry; I have a feeling I'll see him again. All I can hope for is that he's not doing something foolish. By the way... where would you like your car? Clyde's father throws the key to Eldes as the two leave the scene.Meanwhile Clyde and his mother are at the end of a lengthy line to enter the SS.Anne. A little worn out from waiting, Clyde turns to his mother and asks, "How long is this going to take? It seems like the hours have passed. "Kid, we haven't even been here for thirty minutes, and look, we're almost there; just one more person in the way," Clyde's mother says to him. Shortly after, they finally arrive at the end of the line. "Welcome Aboard the SS. Anne," spoken by the sailor at the front as they flashed their tickets.Walking into the heart of the cruise ship, the two see a grand atrium, which serves as the main entrance area. This space is usually expansive and open, with high ceilings, polished floors, and a striking central feature, even with Pokémon Trainers battling with each other under them, a large chandelier, and an impressive sculpture of a Pokémon in the middle. The atrium has multiple levels, with wide, sweeping staircases that lead up to different decks, even seeing shops and bars nearby. It's a social space where passengers can gather or simply pass through as they head to other areas of the ship. As she surveys the surroundings, Clyde's mother remarks, "It's lovely. I've always wanted to take a cruise ship. Clyde simply surveyed the ship. While he doesn't want to be here, even he acknowledges that it's enormous. "Mom, can we try to find our rooms now?" he asks, only glancing at his mother. Being captivated by the ship, the mother breaks out of her daydream. turning to her son. "Of course, let's go and look for our room," she says. As they made their way further into the cruise liner.
