With the bag swung over his shoulders, Remo walked towards them.
"Can you repeat the words again?" He remarked seriously.
The big guy comes near him and whispers into his ear. "I said you are a bastard like those children living on the streets!"
An anger surged through his veins moving abruptly and launch a swift kick on his shin.
"Swish!" …
There was a loud thud as he yells and falls flat on the ground.
"Ouch!!!"
Everyone around them stopped from their tracks.
Several of the youngsters walking to their rooms were immediately elated to see the commotion.
Remo stepped the toe of the kid so hard that he shouted with so much pain.
"Ouch…ouch…stop..stop!"
"Cracked!...
He looked down at him with a cold glare.
"Been awhile since I broke some limbs so listen carefully you idiot!"
" First… I do not want to hear you say that word again to me."
Remo continued, leaving the kid flabbergasted,
"Two… watch your tone around people with that attitude of yours!"
"Three… next time when that one heals, I'll gonna break the other one!"
Remo finally raised his foot and smirked.
"Do you understand?"
"Y..yes, yes…. I…I understand!" he replied with a shaking voice winching in pain.
"Sorry I accidentally fractured your bone!" he said looking on his companions.
"How about you two, do you want to continue?" he questioned them angrily.
When they keep quiet, Remo turned around.
After a few steps, he looked back.
"Did you understand what I just said?" He repeated himself.
"W…we understand."
"Now get lost, assholes!"
Imagining the worst, they scampered limping while the other school kids looked in amazement.
"I knew they were screwed the moment they insulted Remo. He's good in martial arts and self-defense!" One of the kids elaborated.
"I saw him fight bigger and older man with his group of friends a week ago. They managed to survive the ordeal but were badly humiliated!"
"Really?" the group of youngsters chorused
"Yeah...what caught my attention was the way he mishandled those kids beyond his years. He brought intense fear on them."
A flash of anticipation filled them as they were listening.
"He was so fast, and they could not even hit him."
"That was cool! How pathetic that would be!"
"The best part… he pulled their ears up one by one and kick their butts before letting them go!"
"Ha, ha, ha, ha!" Everyone was laughing loudly after hearing it.
"Tk…tsk…tsk…It pains them to admit that a younger kid can do it to them with ease!" one of them commented.
Strangely enough, due to a series of these incidents, Remo was now wondering how he makes himself an attraction at the school campus.
He was probably popular from his close combat skill and that is all.
'Was it the maturity he showed when easily subduing kids bigger than him?'
Although no one could see his cultivation prowess, every move he makes exuded a power where kid seemed no match on him.
Nonetheless, the one thing he was astonished is how easy to use his primary potential without so much force.
Afterall, he only needs very little of his spiritual energy to restrain opponents before letting it lose its effect afterwards.
'"As if it was never there!"
One time, a group of four kids suddenly appeared from the school alley blocking his path trying to ask for protection money.
It was to pay their respect.
Leading the pack is a young man looking fiercely like a tough guy.
His entire body was emitting a physical aura different from the others.
His muscles were oozing with explosive amounts of external energy considered to be way near a martial art expert.
"Hey kid!" …The young man uttered.
He wore a sleeveless shirt with the word "Champ" on his front shirt fixing his intimidating gaze into his eyes.
"Well, hello bro!"
Almost involuntarily Remo purred himself reluctantly.
"We control this area, so I have the right to ask protection passing through this alley."
Behind his back were three underlings smiling broadly enjoying themselves.
They almost have the same body, very muscular with rugged muscles.
They looked strong and well trained.
If he were to compare them with their leader, their capabilities should not be far apart.
"They must be good in martial arts and are top notch." The words tingled uncomfortably in his thoughts.
"Say that again?" he asked ignoring his words. "How did you own this place when everything around you belong to the school grounds." Remo explained.
The four kids were taken aback.
Remo couldn't help but notice the smirk on their faces.
They were not expecting someone would have the guts to go against their whims given their sheer numbers.
The second of the kids approached him and send a slap.
"Slap!"...
He stood his ground and allowed him to strike knowing it would not threaten him badly.
His palm was strong, swift, and fierce!
From that moment, he reckoned these losers have no intention of letting him off easily.
"You have some guts, huh dude? Are you dumb or simply arrogant?"
A mischievous pout was seen as they exchanged glances smiling each other.
Another kid pointed his fingers straight into his eyes.
In a split second, the burly kid charged forward. He threw a punch into his face.
"Thud!"...
He was unprepared for the incoming attack, and it was like being hit with an iron punch.
However, Remo stayed on his feet. The energy pathways of his meridians were locked.
He could not react in time.
The punch landed squarely; it was so powerful, somewhat close to abnormal strength.
Remo felt an acute pain and within a few seconds, the corner of his lips started to taste with blood.
"You're a stubborn kid; do you know that?... I hope this helps you. understand your situation!" he quips afterwards.
"Hand over everything you've got, boy. Another word I hear from you will result with a broken rib." Champ ordered furiously rolling his eyes.
Remo flashed his middle finger towards their faces with a sly smile.
