Madeline didn't bother to hide the fact that she was confused.
"What are you trying to say? You are making me feel more confused," Adelaide complained.
"Look at it this way, Edward is a member of the Royal Family, the first Prince to be precise, if something bad were to happen to me..."
"Nothing bad would happen to you," Adelaide interjected, placing her palm over his lips while giving him a warning look.
Ethan removed the palm from his lips, and he took advantage of the opportunity by placing a kiss on her palms which she found to be ticklish.
"It is just a hypothetical fact," Ethan explained, but she shook her head.
"Don't even try to think of it, don't scare me," Adelaide warned, her tone sounded freezing, and Ethan had no other choice but to give in.
"Fine, let's say I wasn't the Crown Prince, the title would have been Edward's, isn't that right?" Ethan asked, and Adelaide nodded in return.
