Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: First Glimpses of Infinity

The days that followed were a whirlwind of adjustment. As a newborn, Jason's body was weak, fragile, and uncooperative. Every movement was an effort, every cry a reflex beyond his control. It was frustrating at times, but he accepted it with surprising patience.

He spent hours lying in his crib, observing his new parents and the world they were building around him. His mother's warmth was a constant presence, and his father's protective aura was unmistakable. They adored him—of that, there was no doubt.

Yet, amidst the simplicity of his new life, Jason could sense it: the infinite energy coursing through him, humming quietly beneath the surface. It wasn't as potent or refined as it had been in his past life (Anime), but it was there.

After the first try with his powers, he tried to test it again. His instinct told him he could do it but it didn't work, but he kept trying.

One day after concentrating for an hour he felt something, It began subtly, with tiny ripples of energy responding to his thoughts. He experimented in secret, testing the boundaries of his abilities when no one was watching. He felt it, the space between him and objects nearby. He instinctively knew that he could manipulate small objects—moving a toy block across his crib or slowing the fall of a toy.

The next night, when the house was quiet and the moonlight filtered through the curtains, Jason decided to try something bolder. He remembered the OP ability of Gojo Satorou, "Infinity" was its name, the power which could make anything that's about to reach Gojo slow down infinitely. While looking at an object moving toward Gojo, it would seem to stop eventually, but it is still moving, just further slowing down to an impossible speed that it appears to stop in midair. Jason was excited to try out this power, He needed this power just for the sake of being OP. So, after some thought he reached out with his mind; concentrating, and focusing on the space around him. Slowly, almost imperceptibly, a thin layer of energy formed—his Infinity.

The barrier shimmered faintly in the dim light, a protective field that wrapped around him like a second skin. Jason grinned, his tiny hands clenching with satisfaction.

It's not perfect, but it's a start.

He felt the satisfaction of getting the powers he always dreamt of. He knew that he could grow stronger and maybe even surpass the original wielder of this power, "Gojo Satorou". He dismissed the field before his parents could notice. For now, it was better to keep his abilities hidden.

3 Years Later-

By the time Jason was three years old, his life had settled into a comfortable rhythm. His parents were doting but cautious, always shielding him from the curious gazes of strangers. The white hair and his unusually sharp blue eyes never failed to draw attention.

"Your boy is… unique," a neighbor commented one afternoon as they walked to the park.

Jason's mother smiled warmly, brushing a hand through his hair. "He's special, that's all."

Jason didn't mind the stares. If anything, he found them amusing. His appearance was a far cry from the ordinary, but he wore it with confidence, even at a young age.

Since the time Jason was born, he always had the thought that he was born in an ordinary world with Gojo's powers, but something in his mind told him that him being given a chance of reincarnation with OP abilities, there's no way he would be born in an ordinary universe. Jason couldn't figure out the universe he was in and no matter how much he tried he couldn't go out without the help of his parents. So, he pushed all these things in the back of his mind and continued living his day life normally. He tried to use "Infinity" again but no matter how much he tried, he couldn't do it.

After he became three, his mom took him out to the park so that he could make some friends and it was at the park that Jason met Gwen Stacy.

She was sitting on the swings, her blonde hair catching the sunlight as she kicked her legs back and forth. Her laughter was bright, unrestrained, and immediately drew Jason's attention.

"Hi!" she called out, hopping off the swing and running toward him. "I'm Gwen. What's your name?"

Jason blinked, momentarily caught off guard by her boldness. "Jason."

"Your hair is so cool!" she exclaimed, reaching out as if to touch it. "It's like snow!"

Jason chuckled, a sound that surprised even himself. "Thanks. Your hair's nice too."

From that day on, Gwen became a constant presence in Jason's life. She was bright, energetic, and unshakably curious—qualities that Jason found refreshing.

Jason couldn't pinpoint why, but being around Gwen felt… easy. Despite his advanced mind and the secrets he carried, he found himself relaxing in her presence. She treated him like any other kid, unaware of the extraordinary abilities that lay dormant within him.

For Jason, it was a welcome reprieve—a chance to live, if only for a little while, as an ordinary child.

But deep down, he knew that his life was anything but ordinary.
