Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - The Final Wish.

'It's bright and empty,' was the first thought that came to Jason's mind. He had no idea where he was or how he got here. 'Where is this place?' Jason thought. He tried taking a step but found out that he couldn't move his legs.

'What the heck!' he shouted in panic—or tried to—but discovered that he couldn't speak. His mouth moved, but no sound came out.

He began to panic. 'No, this can't be happening. I just got a new life!' he thought in desperation and frenzy. He wanted to cry, but no tears came out. The only thing he could do was move his head. He looked around in a frenzy and panic. The only thing he saw was an empty space that looked too empty, the color of the space so white that it was almost blinding.

"Calm down, Jason—or should I say Aron," came a voice from his right.

'Huh?' Jason almost jumped.

"Who are you?" Jason shouted, realizing he could speak again. He turned his head to the right but didn't see anyone.

"I mean no harm, Jason. Calm down so we can talk," the voice continued, this time from his left. Jason turned his head as fast as he could, but again, there was no one there.

"There's no point in doing that," said the voice. "You cannot see me," it continued.

Jason tried to calm himself and, just for safety, attempted to use Infinity.

"There's no use. Your power doesn't work here—or must I say, Gojo's powers," the voice said, now coming from all directions.

Jason knew that doing anything was futile. He was powerless here, and if the voice wanted to kill him, it could have done so anytime. So, he sat up straight. His anxiety was now gone, leaving only a bit of caution.

"Who are you? Are you the one who brought me to this universe and gave me these powers?" Jason asked, looking straight up, knowing he couldn't find the source of the voice.

"Isn't it obvious, Jason? Yes, I was the one who brought you to this universe," said the voice and continued, "As for who I am, didn't you just pray to me before going to bed?"

'Huh? Praying? No way. I've never prayed to any god before,' Jason thought, making sure that he had never prayed before sleeping.

"Really, Jason? Try remembering. You were trying to find out the universe you were in and then—"

"AHHH! I remember now!" Jason cut off the voice. He remembered that before sleeping, he had prayed to the God of the Omniverse. Wait a sec. Am I talking to the God of the Omniverse right now? Jason thought in awe and fear.

"Yes, you are, Jason. I am the 'Author'—ahem! I mean, I am the God of the Omniverse," said the voice in a way that no one could doubt him.

"You can read my thoughts." Jason didn't question but instead stated the fact. "It's obvious that the God of the Omniverse can read people's thoughts, right?" Jason said with a smile, ignoring the mishap in speech from the proclaimed God of the Omniverse.

"So, why did you bring me to this space? Are you going to give me a mission in exchange for the life and powers you've bestowed upon me?" Jason asked.

Hearing the question, the voice chuckled. "No, Jason, there's no such reason for bringing you to this space. I brought you here just to answer your question about the Marvel Universe you're in," the voice answered.

"Huh?" Jason was confused. This God of the Omniverse came to meet me just because I prayed to him over a question? I mean, it was a figure of speech. Jason thought. No, wait! He can hear my thoughts. I should stop thinking and speak directly.

"Ahem! So, dear God, can you answer a few of my questions?" Jason asked.

"Ask away, my child," said the God.

"Why was I born here with Gojo's powers?" Jason asked doubtfully. He wanted to ensure there was no hidden danger or agenda behind his birth in a different universe.

The God chuckled, amused by Jason's paranoia. "There's no special reason for you to be born here. You were the one who chose this world and your powers. I just removed the memory of our meeting from your brain," the God answered.

Jason was confused and asked, "So, you're saying that after my death, I met you and asked for the powers of Gojo Satoru in a Marvel Universe?"

"Yes, that's correct, my child. These were two of your wishes out of a total of three. And to make things clear, the universe you asked for is just the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So, you don't have anything else to fear," said the God.

Hearing that his universe was the MCU, Jason felt a sense of relief. Wait a sec. Did he say I had three wishes? Jason thought.

"Yes, child, you had three wishes," the God answered without waiting for Jason to ask any question.

"Ummm, so, God-san, what was my third wish? And why don't I feel any power other than Limitless?" Jason asked in confusion. He never felt any other power within him aside from Gojo's Limitless.

"It's because you still didn't use that wish, saying you needed some time to think. You said you would ask for that wish later, and whenever you're ready for the wish, you'd call for me. But you didn't know that no soul would retain the memories of me and my place after going out. Luckily, you called for me tonight," the God said amusingly. His tone was funny, like he was trying not to laugh.

'Huh?' Jason was stunned. Was I an idiot in my previous life that I couldn't even make a wish? Jason thought. No, wait. I'm here right now and could ask for any wish I want. The MCU is not that dangerous in the early years, but later with Kang and the multiverse, things could get tricky. Well, nothing Limitless cannot solve. Jason thought to himself.

"Umm, God, can I ask for my last wish right now?" Jason asked the God in anticipation.

"Sure, my child. Ask away," the God answered kindly.

Jason thought deeply, contemplating his options. Finally, he made up his mind.

"For my last wish, I want—"
