Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 - Titans

The alien races about the place, witnessing the ease with which the Iron Pilots darted across rooftops, shifted their attention to the Vulcan boatmen.

Is this some elite force that was secretly trained by the Vulcans?

But the Vulcan boatmen shook their heads.

They couldn't look like Vulcans, who were defying gravity and moving like superhumans.

Meanwhile, the dark elf warriors were slipping into anarchy.

The Iron Pilots were evasive, hiding behind buildings and ships.

Their bullets could not even come close to hitting a target, and it doesn't help that these pilots have the ability to create holographic images.

The illusions made it impossible for the dark elves to differentiate between the surreal world created by the projections and the world of real warriors.

Boom!

One precise shot from a secondary pistol took out one of the dark elf warriors.

The sight sent the others into a panic, firing wildly at the pilot.

But the next moment, the pilot activated the phase shifter on his wrist.

Swish!

He disappeared in an instant, and laser bullets hit nothing but empty air.

A moment later, another pilot popped out of phase shift, throwing a fragmentation grenade right into a clump of dark elf soldiers.

Boom!

The grenade detonated, killing several enemy troops, and the pilot disappeared again.

The relentless and elusive attacks scrambled the dark elf captain's brain.

"Who are these ghost-like soldiers?" he muttered, shivering in his scalp with gooseflesh.

"If this keeps up, my troops will be wiped out!"

The captain shook his head to clear it, switched on his tech watch and continued, shouting orders:

"Deploy the alloy armor immediately! We need reinforcements now!"

In the blink of an eye, a landing ship descended from the skies to bring hope to the beleaguered dark elf captain.

The hatch opened, and several towering alloy-clad heavy armors came out.

Boom!

The first landed with such force that it made a massive impression in the metal floor of the dock.

The others followed, and their mere presence seemed to exude power.

These three-meter-tall heavy armors were dual Gatling gun-armed and sported impenetrable alloy plating, so laser bullets had a hard time denting them.

Wherever these titans came out on the battlefield, they brought terror to the enemies.

"This is our trump card," he thought, slightly regaining his confidence.

At that time, Rodgraim went back to the dock with Seraphina.

Glancing at the battlefield full of dark elf corpses, Rodgraim smiled.

"These Iron Pilots did not disappoint me. These dark elves won't stand up against my top fighters," he said.

Next to Rodgraim, Luna listened in.

She gaped at his words in shock.

"Those ghostly warriors are your guys?".

Rodgraim nodded.

Though shocked, luna quickly composed herself.

With Rodgraim in possession of an S-class ship, perhaps this wasn't entirely impossible.

Still, she hurried to warn him.

"You need to retreat now! Those heavy armors are siege weapons—they're unstoppable. Your troops, no matter how skilled, are only human. Get your ship out of here before it's too late!"

Her genuine concern showed, but Rodgraim merely chuckled.

"Don't worry," he said confidently.

"My troops have their own heavy armor."

Luna froze.

"What?"

Before she could fully process his words, the dark elf heavy armors began their assault.

Gatling guns unleashed a relentless storm of bullets, tearing through the surroundings and even destroying a lightly armored ship in a fiery explosion.

The Iron Pilots, now under heavy fire, used their phase shifters to retreat to safer positions.

Seeing this, the dark elf captain's pride was restored.

"Pitiful bugs! You dare challenge the great soldiers of the Dark Night Empire? Face our wrath!"

He instructed his heavy armors to dispose of the remaining pilots, but the Iron Pilots had vanished into thin air.

Just as disarray raged across the battlefield, the White Night's hatch opened.

The dark elf captain's relic detection instrument started vibrating erratically.

"The relic… it's on that ship!" he exclaimed, eyes fastened on the White Night.

Before he could do anything, a gargantuan mechanical figure stepped forward.

"This… is this a heavy armor?" the captain stuttered.

Swish!

Suddenly, a gigantic figure emerged at the center of the dock, followed by others who came out of the White Night.

These were not lightweight armors-they were Titans.

These gigantic mechanical bodies, complete with heavy weaponry, now stood in the dark elves three-meter-tall heavy armor.

One of the Titans stepped forward to speak.

"I am not just heavy armor. We are the Titans."

Swish!

The Ronin Titan plunged forward, its blade cutting through the arms of a dark elf heavy armor before it could react.

The Gatling guns fell to the ground uselessly.

Other Titans joined in.

The North Star Titan hurled itself into the air, releasing a cluster of missiles that obliterated another heavy armor.

In comparison, the dark elf armors were like fragile toys to be easily dismantled by the Titans.

Luna stood there, wordlessly mute, as one after another fell.

"These… these are Rodgraim's mechs?"
