Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Goremaw's Fury

Mike and Luna's battle with the Goremaw raged on, the demon's claws swiping mere inches from their faces. Mike's sword arm ached, his breath growing ragged.

"We need to end this!" Mike shouted above the din.

Luna yipped in agreement, her fur standing on end. But just as she lunged at the Goremaw, the demon's claws struck true, knocking her to the ground.

"Luna!" Mike shouted in horror.

The Goremaw sneered, its eyes blazing with malevolence. "Your precious wolf is no match for me!"

Mike's anger flared, and he launched a fierce attack. "You'll pay for that!"

The Goremaw laughed, its voice like thunder. "You're no match for me either, mortal!"

The battle raged on, Mike's sword clashing with the Goremaw's claws. But despite his best efforts, Mike found himself on the defensive, the Goremaw's power overwhelming.

As the fight wore on, Mike stumbled back, his sword trembling with exhaustion. The Goremaw raised its claws, ready to deliver the final blow.

But just as all seemed lost, Luna stirred, her eyes fluttering open.

"Luna, no!" Mike shouted, trying to protect her.

But Luna was determined. With a fierce growl, she launched herself at the Goremaw, teeth snapping wildly.

The Goremaw stumbled back, taken aback by Luna's sudden attack. Mike took advantage of the distraction to strike, his sword slicing through the demon's defenses.

The Goremaw howled in rage, its claws flailing wildly. But Mike and Luna pressed their advantage, striking again and again.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the Goremaw dissipated into nothingness. Mike and Luna stood panting, their chests heaving with exhaustion.

But as they caught their breath, Mike realized Luna was injured. Her fur was matted with blood, her eyes cloudy with pain.

"Luna, oh no!" Mike exclaimed, rushing to her side.

Luna whined softly, her tail wagging weakly.

"Don't worry, girl," Mike whispered. "I've got you."

With gentle care, Mike tended to Luna's wounds, his heart aching with concern. As he worked, he noticed the cavern walls shifting, the rocks flowing like molten lava.

"Luna, look!" Mike whispered, his eyes scanning the shadows.

Luna's gaze followed his, her ears perked up weakly.

The cavern split open, revealing a hidden chamber. A glowing crystal nestled in the heart of the chamber, pulsing with an otherworldly energy.

Mike's eyes widened in awe. "The Starstone!"

But as they approached the crystal, a voice boomed from the shadows...
