Kai materialized in Liya's room, his knife pressed firmly against her neck.
"Tell me where I am, or I'll kill you," Kai hissed.
"Kill me," Liya replied, her voice steady.
Kai's eyes narrowed. "You're not scared of me? What if I slit your throat? Tell me where I am."
"Kill me, then," Liya dared, her gaze unwavering.
Kai's frustration grew. "You think I won't do it? My knife is at your neck."
Liya's smile hinted at a hidden truth. "Try to kill me, then."
Kai's blade pressed deeper, but Liya's calm demeanor unsettled him. Their eyes locked in a fierce stare, as if Liya was the predator and Kai the prey.
Slowly, Kai's resolve crumbled. He withdrew his knife and sat in the chair beside the study table.
"Okay, fine. Where am I? Tell me," Kai conceded.
"You're on Earth," Liya replied, her voice laced with mystery.
Kai's eyes widened. "Earth? But that's not my world..."
Liya's enigmatic smile grew. "You're from a different universe, one I created."
Kai's face contorted in shock. "You created a world? How That's impossible!"
