Once there was a baby who was born on a very cold and snowy day. The mother was unfortunately ill beyond repair. Melody, (The baby) grew to be a strong independent young lady. One early morning in the Winter she went off to school, on the way she noticed a small puppy, the puppy was covered in snow, so Melody took the puppy home. Once at home she put it next to a warm fire with a blanket wrapped around it. Then she went back to walking to school. As the day slowly moved on, she grew tired. At last, she heard the final bell go off, she swiftly gathered her stuff and walked home. On the way she remembered about the dog, and luckily there was a pet store nearby. She decided to take a quick stop into the store to pick up a small thing of dog food.

On the way home a lady came up to her and asked "Excuse me, but do you have any spare change? My son has an illness, and I can't afford to pay for it." "Sorry ma'am I don't hav-" I said while interrupted. "Yes

you do!" Said the old lady accusingly. "Look in your bookbag, I bet it's there!" I then opened my front pocket and what do you know? There's a $10 bill. "How did you know? I don't keep money on me like that.

"You'll soon know." Said the old lady then vanished into thin air. I thought this was strange, but I didn't think anything of it. As I continue to walk home, I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened, i mean i turned around and then she vanished! Once I got home, I noticed that the puppy wasn't where I had set it this morning. I frantically looked around my house for it but couldn't find the puppy. I then ran to my mom's office. "Mom, did you see a small like really small puppy anywhere?" "Uh, no Hunny sorry. But why are you looking for a puppy in our house? We only have a cat." Before she could get an answer, Melody was off to find this puppy.

She then ran out of the house outside onto the street. As Melody ran out of the house she spotted the puppy, but Melody then wondered how the puppy got out because the door was locked. Suddenly the puppy disappeared. Melody had no words, so she quietly walked home, re-thinking what just happened! "Melody Elizabeth Hades! How dare you bring a dog into our house!" I knew I was done for when my mom called my full name when I walked into the house.

 "I'm sorry mom it was in the snow on the streets. What else was I supposed to do, let it die?" 

 "No but you could have brought it to a shelter!"

 "To be honest I didn't think about that, but that's beside the point. The point is the dog was going to die, and I can't just let him die" I said.

My mom's face softened when she heard me say that. "Well, I'm glad you were thinking of the dog, but you know I'm allergic to dogs!" At that moment I knew I was in trouble, I completely forgot about my mom's allergy! I quickly ran up the stairs while my mom chased me. When I got to my room, I swiftly closed the door and locked it. I let out a sigh of relief. I began to do my homework, but as I was doing my homework, I got a text from an unknown number.

 "Meet me at 3:00 tomorrow at 36 Unknown Drive. I will be wearing a black hoodie. If you don't show I will come to you! If you tell ANYONE about this, you will face a consequence! -unknown." I decided it would be best if I didn't go, besides it's probably just a threat. I continued my homework like nothing happened. Once finished with my homework I took a quick nap. I hadn't realized how long I'd been asleep till I looked at my clock. I went to sleep at 2:30. It's now 5:30!  "Melody time for dinner." Yelled my mom. I quickly ran down the stairs and sat at the dinner table. We needed to replace the table because it's quite old and could definitely give someone a splinter!
