He was about to start his
breakfast when Andre emerged from the
house, looking surprisingly refreshed.
"Morning," Andre greeted, sitting down
across from Samuel. "Clara found me
some clothes. Fit pretty well."
"Good," Samuel replied, forcing a smile.
"How's the arm?"
"Still attached," Andre joked, glancing at
the bandage. "Could be worse."
They began eating, the comfortable
silence of old friends settling over them.
After a while, Andre looked up, his
expression serious. "So, where do we
start with this new player?"
Samuel sighed, his gaze fixed on the
horizon. "We need to find out who they
are and what they want. Fast. We can't
afford any more surprises."
As they discussed their plans, Samuel's
phone buzzed with a message from
Hana. She had sent him a picture of the
safe house's garden, with a note: "Wish
you were here."
He smiled, feeling warmth spread
through him. He texted back, "Soon, my
love. Stay strong."
Andre noticed the exchange and
grinned. "You're a lucky man, Samuel."
"I know," Samuel replied, his voice filled
with emotion. "And I'm going to make
sure I never lose her."
After completing their breakfast, Samuel
and Andre returned to the office. As
they entered, Leo greeted them,
accompanied by the head of
intelligence. Without delay, they briefed
Samuel on their latest findings: they had
identified five potential suspects who
might be the mole they were searching
for. With a mix of determination and
concern, Samuel absorbed the
information. It was a critical moment in
their investigation, and they needed to
act swiftly. Together with Leo and the
intelligence head, they devised a plan to
set a trap and uncover the true identity
of the mole.
At afternoon in Samuel's office, Samuel,
Andre, and Leo sat in a room, discussing
their efforts to catch the mole kept the
door open, "We are very much tried to
find the mole, but he is very smart and
we're unable to trap him," Andre said,
Samuel nodding in agreement. "I guess I
should only focus on keeping Hana safe
for now. She is safe in Allibridge with
Luka, and I don't know for how long,
and others, you all also find something
good for yourselves. I guess our enemy
will take in all our business," Samuel
said, and all others agreed.
Later that night, a well-dressed man
walked into one of Samuel's clubs and
took a seat, sipping a drink. It seemed
like he was waiting for someone. Later,
another well-dressed man walked in and
joined the man who was already waiting
for him, ordering a drink and asking the
man sitting beside him, "What's the
news? What made you call me so
urgently?" The man sitting beside him
turned to him with a smile, "It's a very
important and big news, my friend. First,
why don't you have a sip?" he offered
him his glass, given by the waiter.
The man replied, "Hmm... what is that
big and very important news my friend?"
after taking a sip of his whisky. The man
sitting beside him smiled and said, "I
found out where Hana is." The man
setting beside him, who was about to
take another sip, held back his hand and
looked at him with a serious face, "Are
you sure?" he asked. The other man
nodded, taking the sip and keeping his
glass down with a smirk. "I heard him
himself telling it to his men; he even told
that he can't with our boss," the other
man put on a smirk and asked, "So tell
me the location, my friend?" The other
man nodded on no with a laugh and
said, "First, you promise me to give me
double the amount you had given me
the last time, only then I will tell you, my
friend." He kept laughing, and the other
man looked at him with a smirk and
nodded in yes. Then, the man said,
"Hana is in Allibridge with Luka."
Listening to this, the other man was
impressed and stood up to walk out.
Then, the man stopped him and asked
for the payment, so the other man took
him out of the club and onto the streets.
The other man put his hand on the
man's shoulder and whispered in his ear,
"You shouldn't have kept the money
before you gave me the tip; you have
made me feel embarrassed, my friend.
So you have to pay." Before the man
could understand something, he was
shot by the other man, and the other
man said, "Goodbye, my friend." In no
time after the shot, a car came to the
other man, he sat in that and went off
the street.
As the car drove away from the street,
another car passed by, its headlights and
revs catching Samuel's and Andre's
attention. Andre looked at Samuel with
a smirk and said, "You were right, bro,
he was the real mole."
Samuel's eyes seemed to be replaying
the events of the past few days. He
recalled the five suspects' behavior on
the day of the attack. One of them, in
particular, caught his attention. After the
attack, this suspect had paid his
mother's cancer treatment bill in full
cash, and even bought a property.
Samuel had played a trap and given him
a false tip, saying that Hana was in
Allibridge.
Back in the present, Samuel looked at
the dead man's body with a smirk.
"Never ride two boats at the same time,"
he said to himself. He turned to Andre
and they headed back to Samuel's
home. After arriving, Samuel first called
his friend Luck and told him, "My side of
work is done here, and I'm leaving for
Allibridge now. Is everything ready?" On
the other side of the call, Luck replied
with a smirk, "Everything is all set,
Samuel. Just waiting for the fish."
Samuel, Andre, and Leo stepped out of
the private jet and onto the tarmac at
Allibridge. They were greeted by Luck,
who stood at the main door of his
mansion, a warm smile on his face.
"Welcome, my friends," Luck said,
shaking their hands. "I'm glad you could
make it."
"Thanks, Luck," Samuel replied, his eyes
scanning the grounds. "This is quite a
place you have here."
Luck chuckled. "I like to think so. Come,
let's get you settled in and then we can
discuss the plan."
The group walked into the mansion,
where they were greeted by the opulent
décor and the sound of laughter and
chatter. They made their way to the
dining room, where a sumptuous spread
of food awaited them.
