The air in Liyue Harbor was warm, the sun shining brightly over the busy marketplace. The docks were bustling with merchants, travelers, and, lately, Pokémon. Since the ecosystem had started to change, there were now glowing patches of grass and mysterious flora even in the heart of the city, adding a sense of wonder to Liyue. The changes were the talk of the town, and many people had grown curious enough to explore the new sights themselves.
Today, however, was supposed to be a day of relaxation for Ningguang. The Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing had decided to take a break from her endless list of responsibilities, and she was planning to have a quiet afternoon tea in the Jade Chamber. She had even invited some friends for the occasion—Ganyu, Zhongli, and Hiroshi. It was meant to be a peaceful, refined affair.
Of course, with Pokémon involved, things rarely went as planned.
Ningguang had carefully set up a table on the terrace of the Jade Chamber, a breathtaking view of Liyue Harbor below. Ganyu was already there, her Snorunt standing beside her, looking up at the teapot with keen interest. Zhongli was next to arrive, his Slowpoke trailing behind at an unhurried pace, seemingly mesmerized by the glowing flora nearby.
Hiroshi arrived last, with Zekrom by his side, its large presence quite the contrast to the delicate tea set laid out on the table. Ningguang eyed Zekrom for a moment, wondering if the Pokémon would fit in the space, but she chose not to comment. After all, this was supposed to be a relaxing occasion.
"Welcome, everyone," Ningguang said, her voice warm as she gestured for them to take their seats. "Today, we'll have tea and take a moment to discuss this new ecosystem that seems to be forming around Liyue and Mondstadt."
Hiroshi smiled, nodding. "Thank you for the invitation, Lady Ningguang. Zekrom and I are quite interested in seeing how Teyvat is adapting to the Pokémon."
Zhongli gave a polite nod, settling into his chair with Slowpoke at his feet. "The land is indeed changing, and it is not without a certain beauty. However, such changes must be observed with care."
Ningguang raised her cup, giving Zhongli an appreciative glance. "Precisely. That is why I thought this would be a good opportunity to discuss our next steps, while also enjoying the beauty of it all." She poured the tea with a graceful hand, her movements precise and controlled.
However, just as everyone was starting to settle in, a loud rustling noise came from the bushes nearby. Ningguang frowned slightly, looking towards the source of the sound. Ganyu leaned forward, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Is that... one of the Pokémon?"
A moment later, a small group of Fletchinder—no doubt led by Beidou's partner—flew in, clearly excited by something. They swooped over the table, sending teacups clattering and scattering biscuits across the floor. Ningguang's composure wavered for just a moment as she blinked in surprise.
"Oh dear," she murmured, quickly setting her teacup down before it could spill. "It seems we have unexpected guests."
Hiroshi couldn't help but laugh, Zekrom rumbling in amusement beside him. "The Pokémon do have a way of making their presence known, don't they?"
Zhongli calmly reached for a biscuit that had rolled towards him, offering it to Slowpoke, who accepted it without hesitation, entirely oblivious to the chaos around it. "Indeed," he said, his voice as serene as ever. "Change often brings a certain unpredictability."
Ganyu, meanwhile, was trying to shoo away the Fletchinder without scaring them, her Snorunt hopping around in confusion. "Please, little ones, we're having tea!" she said, her tone both polite and slightly exasperated.
One of the Fletchinder landed on the back of Ningguang's chair, chirping loudly. Ningguang sighed, her composure returning as she gave the Pokémon a patient smile. "It seems they want to be part of the conversation," she said, reaching out to gently pat the Fletchinder on the head. "Very well. But please, do try to behave yourselves."

After the initial chaos settled, the group managed to continue their tea, albeit with a few more Pokémon joining in than originally planned. Hiroshi couldn't help but notice the subtle changes in the atmosphere—there was a certain liveliness to Liyue now, a sense of excitement and unpredictability that hadn't been there before.
"It's quite remarkable," Hiroshi said, looking out over the harbor. "The way these Pokémon are becoming part of the environment here. It's almost like they belong."
Ningguang nodded, her expression thoughtful. "Yes, but we must make sure that this integration is beneficial to both Teyvat and the Pokémon. If these changes continue at this pace, we need to consider how best to adapt."
Zekrom rumbled, its deep voice resonating across the terrace. "Harmony must be maintained. The balance of this world is delicate, but with guidance, Pokémon and humans can coexist in prosperity."
Zhongli nodded, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "Wise words. Liyue has always thrived through balance—between tradition and progress, between humans and adepti. Perhaps this is simply the next step in our evolution."
Ganyu, who had been quietly listening, spoke up, her voice gentle. "I think the people of Liyue are already starting to understand the Pokémon. Many of them have grown curious, even excited, about the changes. It may take time, but I believe we can find a way to live in harmony."
Ningguang smiled at that, her eyes softening. "I agree, Ganyu. And that is why it is important that we lead by example. Show the people that Pokémon are not something to be feared, but rather something to be embraced."
Hiroshi raised his cup in agreement. "To a new future for Liyue and Mondstadt. One where Pokémon are a part of our everyday lives."
The group clinked their teacups together, a shared sense of determination in their eyes. As the sun began to set over Liyue Harbor, the glow of the new ecosystem seemed even more vibrant, casting a soft, magical light over the city.

After tea, Ningguang invited everyone to take a stroll around the Jade Chamber gardens, which had also begun to change with the influence of the Pokémon ecosystem. Glowing vines wrapped around the railings, and strange flowers had started to bloom, their petals giving off a soft luminescence.
"It truly is beautiful," Ganyu said, her eyes wide as she looked around. "I've never seen anything like this."
Hiroshi smiled, Zekrom floating beside him as they walked. "It's almost like a bridge between our world and the Pokémon's world. A place where both can thrive together."
Ningguang nodded, her gaze thoughtful. "It makes one wonder what else might be possible. If Pokémon can bring about such changes, what other mysteries do they hold?"
Zhongli, who had been walking a few steps behind, spoke up. "Perhaps the answer lies in time. As we continue to understand these creatures, we may unlock even greater possibilities—both for Teyvat and for the Pokémon."
Zekrom rumbled in agreement. "The bonds between humans and Pokémon are still young, but they hold great potential. Together, we shall shape a future that benefits all."
Ningguang smiled, her gaze turning towards the distant lights of Liyue Harbor. "Then let us ensure that future is one of prosperity, balance, and harmony. For the people of Liyue, and for the Pokémon."
As they continued their stroll, the group couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. The world was changing, and while there were still challenges to overcome, they knew they were ready to face them—together, with their Pokémon partners by their side.
And as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, the soft glow of the Pokémon ecosystem bathed Liyue in a gentle light, a promise of new beginnings and the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
