The sound of bustling life filled the streets of Liyue, the sunlight illuminating the vibrant marketplace with its colorful stalls and chattering people. Today, Feiyun Slope was even livelier than usual. Xingqiu had decided to spend the day at his family's tea house, combining his duties with a bit of training with Finneon. He found it to be the perfect opportunity to show his Pokémon some new tricks and also introduce the locals to the wonders of Pokémon.
Xingqiu had set up a small table near the entrance of the tea house, with a shallow glass bowl filled with water. Finneon swam in lazy circles, its delicate fins creating ripples that reflected the sunlight in beautiful patterns. Passersby paused to admire the fish-like Pokémon, and some children were even whispering to each other, trying to guess what it could do.
"Alright, Finneon," Xingqiu said with a smile, leaning down closer to the bowl. "Today, we're going to practice your Water Pulse. Let's show everyone what you're capable of."
Finneon nodded eagerly, its fins fluttering in excitement. It took a deep breath and released a burst of water from its mouth, creating a series of expanding rings that spread out across the surface of the bowl. The children watching gasped in awe, and Xingqiu grinned at their enthusiasm.
"That's amazing, Finneon! Keep practicing, and we'll see if you can make those water rings even bigger!" Xingqiu encouraged. Finneon chirped happily and started forming another Water Pulse.
As the crowd gathered around, Beidou made her way down the street, her Fletchinder perched proudly on her shoulder. She paused when she saw the gathering at the tea house and made her way over, curious to see what all the excitement was about.
"Xingqiu! Showing off your little friend again?" Beidou called with a grin, waving at the young swordsman. Fletchinder squawked in greeting, flapping its wings as if trying to get a better view.
Xingqiu looked up, smiling brightly. "Captain Beidou! Yes, just a little practice session for Finneon. The children seem to enjoy it." He gestured to the crowd, some of whom were watching with wide eyes as Finneon continued creating ripples in the bowl.
Beidou chuckled, stepping closer. "Well, it's good to see the kids enjoying themselves. How about a little demonstration from Fletchinder, then? Show them what a fire-type can do."
Fletchinder fluffed its feathers, looking eager to take part in the demonstration. Xingqiu nodded, intrigued. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. We can show the people how different Pokémon have different abilities."
Beidou held her arm out, and Fletchinder took off, flying above the tea house. With a sharp chirp, it released a small Ember attack, sending a burst of orange-red sparks into the air, which flickered and disappeared harmlessly. The children clapped their hands, cheering as Fletchinder swooped down gracefully to land back on Beidou's shoulder.
"Impressive as always, Captain," Xingqiu said, giving her a polite bow. "Fletchinder's precision is remarkable."
Beidou grinned, giving Fletchinder an affectionate pat. "Thanks, but it's all Fletchinder's hard work. We've been practicing a lot, especially out at sea. Gotta stay sharp!"

Not far away, Ganyu was making her way through the marketplace, her arms full of scrolls and documents. Snorunt was waddling along beside her, occasionally pausing to help Ganyu when a scroll started slipping from her grasp. The little ice-type was doing its best to be helpful, though it wasn't always easy given its small size.
"Thank you, Snorunt," Ganyu said softly, smiling down at her Pokémon partner. "You're always so helpful."
Snorunt chirped happily, puffing up with pride as it continued helping Ganyu balance her load. As they approached Xingqiu's tea house, Ganyu paused, noticing the gathering of people and the excitement in the air.
Curiosity piqued, she carefully maneuvered her way towards the entrance, her eyes widening slightly as she saw Finneon performing its Water Pulse in the bowl. Xingqiu caught sight of her and waved her over, his smile brightening.
"Ganyu! Come join us. We're showing everyone some Pokémon tricks today," Xingqiu called out.
Ganyu hesitated, then nodded, making her way over with Snorunt. She set her scrolls down on an empty chair and approached the crowd. "That sounds lovely, Xingqiu. It's wonderful to see everyone taking an interest in Pokémon."
Xingqiu nodded, then gestured to Snorunt. "Would Snorunt like to join in on the fun? Maybe show us some of its ice abilities?"
Snorunt looked up at Ganyu, its eyes wide with excitement. Ganyu smiled gently. "Of course. Snorunt loves to participate. Alright, Snorunt, let's show them a Powder Snow."
Snorunt took a step forward, focusing as it blew out a cold breath. Tiny snowflakes formed in the air, swirling around before gently falling to the ground, covering the nearby area in a light dusting of frost. The children watching cheered, their faces lighting up with joy as they tried to catch the snowflakes in their hands.
Beidou let out a hearty laugh. "Now that's something! Fletchinder, we could use some of that cold out at sea, don't you think?"
Fletchinder squawked in agreement, flapping its wings. Ganyu blushed slightly, her smile growing as she looked down at Snorunt. "You did wonderfully, Snorunt."
Snorunt let out a happy chirp, jumping up and down in excitement. Ganyu looked over at Xingqiu. "Thank you for inviting us, Xingqiu. It's been a busy day, but this is a nice break."
Xingqiu bowed slightly. "The pleasure is mine, Ganyu. It's important to take time to relax, especially when we have such delightful companions by our sides."

A little later, Ningguang herself arrived at Feiyun Slope, drawn by the lively atmosphere. She watched from a distance, observing the demonstrations with a small smile. Rotom floated beside her, sparking with excitement as it watched the different Pokémon show off their skills.
"It's remarkable how quickly people have grown fond of these creatures," Ningguang mused aloud, her gaze thoughtful. "They have a way of bringing everyone together, regardless of age or status."
Rotom buzzed in agreement, its eyes flickering as it observed Fletchinder and Finneon. Ningguang continued her approach, her presence drawing the attention of Xingqiu and the others.
"Lady Ningguang!" Xingqiu greeted, bowing politely. "It's an honor to have you here. Would you like to see our Pokémon showcase?"
Ningguang nodded, her smile softening as she looked at the gathered Pokémon and their trainers. "I've been watching for a while. You all have done an excellent job demonstrating the abilities of your Pokémon. It's heartening to see everyone embracing their potential."
Ganyu stepped forward, her voice gentle. "Lady Ningguang, would you like Rotom to join in as well? It's been helping so much lately—I think everyone would love to see what it can do."
Ningguang glanced at Rotom, who was now bobbing excitedly, clearly eager to show off. She nodded. "Very well. Rotom, why don't you give them a demonstration of your Charge Beam?"
Rotom buzzed with excitement, floating to the center of the group. It focused for a moment before releasing a concentrated beam of electricity into the air, creating a dazzling display of light and energy. The children watching gasped in awe, their eyes wide as they watched the electricity dance across the sky.
The demonstration drew applause from the crowd, and Ningguang allowed herself a rare, genuine smile. "Excellent work, Rotom. I believe you've impressed everyone here today."
Rotom buzzed happily, returning to Ningguang's side. Beidou whistled, clearly impressed. "Now that's some firepower! I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of that beam."
Ningguang chuckled softly. "Indeed. Rotom's abilities have proven invaluable, not just in demonstrations but in our day-to-day operations as well. I believe there is much more we can learn from our Pokémon companions."

As the day turned to evening, the crowd began to disperse, the children waving goodbye to the Pokémon as they left. Xingqiu, Ganyu, Beidou, and Ningguang gathered near the tea house, their Pokémon by their sides. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the earlier excitement replaced by a sense of camaraderie.
"Today was a success," Xingqiu said, his voice filled with satisfaction. "It's wonderful to see how much joy Pokémon bring to everyone."
Ganyu nodded, looking down at Snorunt, who was now resting contently at her feet. "It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of connection—between us and our Pokémon, and between each other."
Beidou grinned, giving Fletchinder a pat. "Couldn't agree more. Pokémon make everything more fun, that's for sure. And it's nice to see the kids so excited."
Ningguang looked at each of them in turn, her expression softening. "You are all correct. Pokémon have brought something new and valuable to Liyue. They teach us to work together, to find joy in our daily lives, and to explore new possibilities. This is only the beginning of what we can achieve together."
Rotom buzzed in agreement, its eyes glowing with determination. As the sun began to set, casting a golden light over Liyue Harbor, the group stood together, watching as the last of the marketgoers made their way home.
"Well," Beidou said, stretching her arms above her head, "I'd say it's time for a celebratory drink. How about it? My treat."
Xingqiu chuckled. "I'll have to decline, Captain. I still have some duties to attend to. But thank you for the offer."
Ganyu shook her head politely. "I must also return to my work. But I appreciate the thought."
Ningguang gave a small nod. "Perhaps another time, Beidou. Today, I believe we have done enough. Let us take pride in what we've achieved and look forward to what comes next."
Beidou laughed, shaking her head. "Alright, alright. I'll hold you all to it next time!"
She looked down at Fletchinder, smiling. "Come on, Fletchinder, let's go find something to eat."
As the group parted ways, each heading back to their respective duties, there was a shared sense of fulfillment in the air. The Pokémon had once again brought everyone closer together, creating moments of joy and camaraderie that would not be forgotten. And as they moved forward, the people of Liyue knew that this was only the beginning of the adventures they would share with their Pokémon companions.
