"Granny?" I stopped in my tracks, glaring over my shoulder at the owner of such a mocking and irritating voice.
The girl who spoke had short, messy brown hair and an arrogant smirk plastered on her face. She looked to be around Liui's age, maybe around two or three years older than me. A tomboyish girl, with a thin build and confident posture. Her eyes, however, were the most striking feature… one red—sharp and fiery—on the right and one blue on the left, gleaming coldly like a cube of ice.
Heterochromia? Great. A special snowflake who also thinks she's clever.
"Oh, it seems you have vision problems if you can't tell the difference between silver and white," I replied, tilting my head and flashing a tight smile.
"What!?" she snapped. Her smirk vanished, replaced by a glare, hands balling into fists at her sides.
Huh?
I suppressed an urge to roll my eyes.
Why is she mad? She started it.
