"Do you know who is in charge of the Monster training camp ?"
"It's general orwell ." Col. Jake said .
"He is one of the four generals in the european region and a high level beast master powerhouse at that . He was the one who took the initiative to create the army's monster training camp inorder to cultivate the future pillars of the army .
Many of the high ranking officers in the european region are trained by him . If you can join the military then you can not only join the monster training camp but can also get a chance to be personally trained by general orwell . Afterall your talent is unquestionable ."
As Aaron listened to Col.Jake's chat he became more and more interested in general orwell . If possible he really want to join the monster training camp to receive training from general orwell , Afterall having a good teacher can reduce many obstacles on his path to become stronger .
But his goal of being a researcher conflicts with joining the military and he really fell in love with the teaching system of everdawn academy . So he could only reject the option of going to general orwell with regret .
"Aaron , now you should have a clear picture about all the colleges. Have you decided where to go?" principal owen asked breaking the silence .
This sudden voice awoke aaron from his stupor . He looked around the meeting table only to see everyone staring at him intently as if to see what decision would he make .
It really wasn't an easy task to keep a straight face when being stared at by a bunch of powerful beast masters .Aaron took a deep breath to calm himself down .
I'm really honoured to have all of you here today to discuss my future," Aaron began, his voice steady despite the nerves bubbling inside him. "I want to express my gratitude for all the guidance and advice you have given me so far. It means a lot to me."
He paused, meeting the gaze of each person around the table before continuing. "After much consideration, I have decided to join the Everdawn Academy."
"I believe that at Everdawn Academy, I can continue to pursue my passion for research while honing my skills as a beast master," Aaron explained, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders as he spoke his truth.
There was a collective murmur among the beast masters, you could see confusion filled in their faces . They would not have expected to see a genius who should have been a hot blooded youth pursuing strength suddenly decided to be a scholar , the picture doesn't seem to add up in this scenario .
Aaron continued, "I am truly grateful to everyone for giving me such an opportunity, but my heart pulls me towards a different direction. I hope you can respect my decision."
Principal Owen nodded in acknowledgment, a small smile playing on his lips. He is happy nomatter what choice aaron makes , afterall at the end of the day nomatter which college aaron joins it will bring honour and fame to their high school . He took the initiative to talk to break the building up ice in the room .
Principal Owen nodded approvingly. "A wise choice, Aaron. Everdawn Academy is known for nurturing talented researchers like yourself. I'm sure you will flourish there."
The tension in the room eased as the other beast masters exchanged knowing looks. It was clear that Aaron's decision was respected, even if some had hoped he would choose a different path.
Mrs. pettibone turned to look at mr. suarez and spoke .
"Congrats mr. suarez . you got yourself another genius ."
"Just as it should be , hehe." Suarez said with a hippie smile on his face which made almost everyone in the room an urge to punch him in the face .
"Well now that it's over I'm taking my leave . I still have a few more students to take a look in this city base ." Mrs . pettibone said as she stood up from her chair .
Her actions seemed to have created a chain of reaction as the rest of the representatives stood up to leave .After a while of farewell talk principal owen and mr. suarez went along inorder to see them off leaving only aaron and mr.cielo from the void hall.
All this time mr. cielo was slouching in the sofa as the others spoke with an indifferent look but now , he sat up after everyone left . Aaron turned his head to look at him . He never heard about a void hall official meeting an awakened student before the college admission. It made him really curious to find out what mr. cielo has to say .
"Aaron … uh … can I call you aaron ?" mr. cielo asked .
"Uh, yes , of course ." Aaron replied .
"you know aaron , You should have heard of the requirement that every beast master must register their power level in the void hall as they upgrade . so usually the first time void hall comes into contact with a beast master is when they make a breakthrough to level 1 , that is the black iron level . " mr. cielo paused for a moment .
"only when they are upgraded to the black iron level can they be regarded as true beast masters and only when they became true beast masters can they come into contact with the void hall . But there are exceptions to everything , just like you .
when it comes to talented beast masters such as yourself the void hall adopts a different policy . Before you are admitted to the universities we will usually pay a visit . one is to inform you about the basic knowledge on the beast master world and the other is to give you a reminder inorder to ensure your safety .
You might have a certain awareness about the beast masters and the void beasts from the informations and gossips available in the public , But that isn't all to it . Most of the common information about them aren't available to the public as they are hidden by the void hall and the beast master community .
It's mainly done so because the informations regarding the dimensional cracks , void beasts etc. are not something they should know about ."
"Wait , uh sir … about that . You just said the beast master community and void hall hides most of the common information from the public but how can you keep these information that is known to almost all the beast masters hidden from the public ? isn't it easy for the news to leak out ." Aaron suddenly said interjecting mr . cielo's speech .
Mr. Cielo smiled at Aaron's question, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Ah, an observant one, I see. You are right to be skeptical but there is something you don't know.
The beast masters community usually lives completely separate from the ordinary people . you see their circle is completely separate from one another . usually everyone beast masters comes into contact with except their family members will be beast masters . except for some ordinary people who may serve in high ranking position due to their family background no ordinary people can mingle with the beast masters .
They live in a society composed of beast masters that is completely separate from that of the ordinary people . This led to the situation where the ordinary people are not privy to the information regarding beast masters .
As for the other sources of informations like the media , newspapers etc. are under the constant watch of the void hall .We have specialized divisions dedicated to monitoring and controlling the flow of information within the Beast Master community.so the only information the public will know are the ones we want them to know."
He leaned forward, his gaze intense as he continued,
"You see, the knowledge regarding dimensional cracks, Void Beasts, and other sensitive subjects is closely guarded because of the potential dangers they pose.In the wrong hands, this information could lead to catastrophic consequences .
Not to mention the fact that these knowledge is useless for the ordinary people . we don't want to cause too much panic in the society because of the rapid information spread . Afterall , knowing too much is not good for people . "
"Then why are you telling me about this ?" aaron asked looking confused .
Mr. Cielo chuckled softly at Aaron's question, his eyes glinting with a mysterious light.
"Ah, Aaron, you are not just an ordinary beast master. Your potential far surpasses that of your peers . so when it comes to geniuses such as yourself it is our duty to ensure that you are aware of the basic situation and hidden dangers in the beast master world . "
"In the past many talented beast masters like you who have just been awakened have fallen at the hands of void beasts and fallen beast masters . Such situations occurred a lot until the void hall decided to form a committee inorder to ensure the safety of the newbie beast masters such as yourself until you joined the college .
So , I'm not only here to inform you about the current situation about beast master world but also inorder to ensure your safety and prevent you from getting killed at the hands of the fallen beast masters , atleast before you enter the college . "
Aaron listened intently, his curiosity piqued by Mr. Cielo's words. He interrupted his speech and said.
"Uh , did you just say , the ones that want me dead are the Fallen beast masters ?"
