""When a people is condemned to injustice, hope remains in their determination and resilience despite the oppression."
In a simple wooden house in a distant village, the members of the Fire Arch Mercenaries gathered around a fire. The atmosphere was tense, with the winds howling through the surrounding trees, but everyone's eyes were focused on the village leader who began to share the details of their suffering.
The leader spoke quietly, his voice filled with sorrow: "We were just ordinary villagers, living in peace and loving our land. Our village flourished with agriculture, and our flowers were a source of pride. But all of that changed when one of the nobles took over our land and ruled over us. This king was the last of his lineage, and after him, we became slaves in our own land. When he discovered that these flowers had healing properties, he began to threaten us, demanding we create a remedy from them… and if we refused, he sent a horde of powerful scorpions to attack us."
Arman smirked slightly, "The village ruler then said:"We have heard about you, the Noble Fire Arch Mercenaries, for months."
The village leader, looking at them with confidence, responded, "I've heard about you, and I've heard about your strength. You've destroyed the worst of the gangs, and we've heard of your heroic deeds. You're the strongest warriors in this land. But we need your help. This king continues to threaten us. If we don't make the remedy he demands, we will never live in peace. We need your protection."
Arman thought for a moment and then said, "We are only here to do our part in bringing justice. But we need something in return. Will you help us with something else?"
The village leader nodded and replied, "We will provide you with some of the healing flowers. They will allow you to heal wounds and give you the strength to face the challenges ahead."
Arman nodded, "That's enough. Our task now is to track down these scorpions."
At that moment, one of the guards spoke up, "The scorpions have been spotted recently in the nearby mountains. There's a pit in the mountains, and it is said they emerge from there."
Arman's eyes gleamed, and he smiled slightly. "Then we won't waste any time. We'll head there immediately."
The village leader smiled back, raising his hand in a sign of farewell. "Good luck. We trust you with this task."
Thus, the Fire Arch Mercenaries, led by Arman, set off toward the dark mountains where danger awaited them, following the trail of the scorpions to face what destiny had in store.
The air was thick with tension, every step on the ground in sync with the sounds of the wind blowing through the trees. The Mercenaries of the Fire Bow stood in their positions, their eyes focused on the movement emerging from the depths of the dark forest. Suddenly, the ground erupted with a deafening sound, and the trees trembled violently.
From the shadows, massive scorpion monsters appeared, moving slowly, their bodies covered in black, shiny scales that glistened as if they were a part of the night itself. Their heads emerged from between the trees, and their powerful legs pressed into the earth with immense weight. They knew these were not ordinary beasts. This was a battle that would decide their fate—one beast could turn the tide.
"What is that?!" Larius yelled as he saw it for the first time. "Have you ever seen such size?!"
Randall answered in a low voice, his tone filled with unease: "That's the leader... and she's definitely more dangerous than the rest."
As they all stood, wary and tense, A quick attack of thunder exploded , forming a circle of electric sparks from Randall's sword , shooting toward the giant scorpions. The strikes were fast, but the giant scorpion leader avoided them with stunning agility, dodging them effortlessly.
"This won't be the last time!" Larius shouted as he unleashed a fiery wave from his hands, but the scorpion leader swiftly raised its enormous tail high, neutralizing the fire with ease.
Suddenly, the giant scorpion moved faster, launching powerful tail strikes toward everyone. The ground shook beneath them, and it was clear that this massive creature was unpredictable.
But just as they took the blows one after another, something strange filled the air. Something was coming.
Arman emerged from the shadows, carrying his sword, which began to glow with a silver light. The aura emanating from the sword was so powerful that it split the air around him. He raised his sword above his head, delivering a mighty strike into the air. The sound that erupted was like the wind slamming into mountains. It was as if the sword itself was screaming to face a beast stronger than any before.
Arman leaped forward in a split second, moving with lightning speed, while the giant scorpion launched a deadly strike with its tail at everyone. Arman easily avoided it and ascended high into the air, disregarding every attack in his path.
In a breathtaking moment, Arman launched an incredible attack and stabbed his sword into the face of the scorpion leader, aiming for its heart. The earth trembled, and a horrifying screech filled the forest. The giant scorpion twitched, trying in vain to retaliate.
But it was already too late. The scorpion lashed out with its massive tail in a desperate attempt for vengeance. Despite the powerful strike, Arman remained firm, unyielding. His brow beaded with sweat, but he did not retreat. In a final, epic moment, he dropped onto the scorpion's face and drove his sword deep into it.
The scorpion exploded, its blood raining down onto the ground as it spun in a frenzy, eventually collapsing lifelessly.
Silence. The group stood in stunned disbelief, but there was a sense of relief. A long and brutal battle had come to an end. In that moment, Arman slowly exhaled, his sword still glowing with silver light.
"We did it..." Randall said, panting heavily. But they all knew that this was just the beginning.
"Don't celebrate yet..." Arman said in a steady voice, his gaze sharp. "There are still secrets left uncovered."
They all knew there was no time to rest. The void left by the scorpion was filled with mysteries, and they knew that even greater dangers lay ahead.
