'A red moon, and trees? What in the world is happening? And why can't I move? Alright, calm down, let me try calling for help…'
"Waaaahhhh!!!!" The cries of a baby resounded throughout the forest.
'What the F*CK!?'
'Was that me!?'
'Why do I sound like that?'
The boy tried to make sense out of his situation as he layed in the middle of nowhere, when he heard footsteps approaching him.
'People, finally!'
Two faces came into view, one was a muscular man with a nice black beard, his skin was red-ish and he had a set of horns on his forehead. The other was a woman, she had caramel brown skin, yellow eyes and a weird looking mark on her face which seemed to glow..
"It's a child, but whose is it?" The man's deep voice resounded.
"Oh~ look at his eyes, can we keep him?" The woman's angelic voice rang through the forest.
"You know for a fact that you wouldn't take no for an answer…" the man said with a huge sigh. "C'mon, I'm going to make wild soup tonight" he said as he turned around to leave.
This was the first day that the boy would meet his foster parents.
…. About a month later
"Aww look at how he is playing with himself in the mirror~!"
'Um Loriell, I know that you love me and all, but isn't this a bit too much?' Kai thought to himself while being hugged by his very enthusiastic mother.
"Wawawa!" Kai gestured to Hanzo's study.
"He sure loves books, I'll tell ya that! Haha!" Hanzo said coming into the room covered in sweat.
"You can't go there nowKai, you need to take a nap" Loriell said as she put him in his cradle and leaves his room.
…. And so the days passed.
The once confused boy started to adapt to this trippy world. He began to understand what was going on. Usually spending his nights in his cradle making mental notes and recording his mental log.
'Mental log one : So, I've figured out a few things after I've been taken in by these "people": One, this is not a dream.'
'Two, my name in this world is Kai.'
'Three, my foster parents' names are Loriell and Hanzo.'
'Hanzo is a lumberjack, and Loriell works in the clothing industry. So basically were commoners.'
'Four, there are all sorts of weird elements in this world and lastly, five, this has something to do with that book'
'If I want to return to my previous life, I have to figure out what the deal is with that book. Coincidentally the book was also summoned with me, but some of the pages are missing, so my goal would be to find those pages.'
Suddenly Kai got the urge to just look himself in the mirror again, to ensure this isn't a dream.
" *Sigh* Yep, not a dream."
