Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 Usual life on earth and Death.

When I saw my mother looking at me like a tiger eyeing its prey, all my sleepiness vanished. A sudden clarity hit me: I had messed up!

"M... Mo... Mom," I said shakily, "I was actually awake, but because of the winter, I lazily snuggled in bed." I tried to make an excuse. My mom sighed and said, "Haah, go and freshen up. I will prepare your breakfast. It's 5:05 AM, and you have to leave by 5:55 to reach college on time."

I nodded vigorously and ran toward the washroom like a jet, startling my mother. After 25 minutes, I emerged fully refreshed, wearing my formal blue shirt, black pants, and grey socks with slides. At the dining table, my mom had just served me toast and milk tea for breakfast.

As I sat down, I started eating. My mom sat near me and asked, "When are your final semester exams happening?"

"Mid-January," I replied.

She looked at me with a concerned expression and said, "Don't put too much stress on yourself. Just study and give your best; the results will come by the grace of God."

I smiled at her and said, "Yes, Mom," before hurriedly running off to college.

She shouted from behind, "Come home directly! I will prepare your favorite dish today!"

I replied with a quick "Yes!" while sprinting down the road as if I were in a marathon.

I passed a traffic signal with a smile on my face because today was the day I was going to propose to my long-time college crush, Priya Jaiswal. She was a beautiful girl with a bright smile. We met when we were randomly paired for an assignment, and just like that, we became friends. Over time, our friendship turned into something more—at least for me.

Lost in thoughts about how she would react to my proposal, I suddenly noticed a car speeding toward me at an alarming rate. Feeling a slight danger, I tried to move out of the way, but the car crashed into me, throwing me two meters away from the point of collision.

As I lay there, I saw people starting to gather around me. Everything was blurry as I struggled to comprehend what had just happened. Just like that—without fully understanding—I passed away.

In a dark space, I opened my eyes, trying to recall what had happened. Suddenly, I felt that I couldn't see or feel my body or move.

"Shit! What's happening to me? I can't feel or move my body! What is this dark space? I remember going out for college, but what the hell is this?" Just then, a bright white light engulfed me, and the only thing I could mutter was "Shit!"
