First Person (POV)
When the bright light engulfed me from the darkness, the only thing I could say was, "Shit."
As I opened my eyes, I saw a luxurious chandelier emitting bright lights and people looking at me anxiously. A beautiful woman, covered in sweat, gazed at me with emotions that only a mother can have on her face. In that moment, I realized what had just happened to me. As the realization kicked in, my first reaction was, "What in the seventh heaven is this? I always thought that other worlds and reincarnation were just pure fantasy and didn't happen in real life. But now, this drama was unfolding before me, and I was confused about how to react."
Third Person (POV)
In the dimly lit luxurious room, whispers and chatter filled the air.
Suddenly, the woman covered in sweat and blood asked, "Why isn't my child crying?"
The nanny looked at her and replied, "Mistress, it seems like the child is… cursed."
The man sitting beside the woman angrily stood up and shouted, "What are you saying, Leena?" He turned to my mother. "How can my son be cursed? My lord, upon his birth, the young master didn't cry or shout like a normal child should. This shows that he is cursed!"
The woman yelled at the nanny, "Shut up, Leena! My child is not cursed; he is brave and strong. That's why he didn't cry like a normal child. I am sure he will achieve great things in his life and contribute to the family."
The man beside her, Arthur, replied, "Yes, darling Isabeela, what you said is true." He then ordered the nanny to keep what had happened during the birth a secret. "If this gets out," he warned, "you know the consequences."
Leena gulped in fear and said nervously, "Lo… Lord, what happened here will go with me to my grave. No other soul will know anything."
After all this happened, the couple looked at me lovingly and smiled.
First Person (POV) (Continued)
I noticed the trio speaking to each other; it looked like bullying to me. First of all, the woman covered in sweat first looked at me and then asked the nanny something I didn't understand—probably a new language of this world. After that, the man beside her yelled something at the nanny that made her afraid.
Despite all this tension, they looked at me lovingly and smiled. Just then, the woman who was laying beside me picked me into her arms and said softly, "Ethan. Your name will be Ethan."
