"Oooh!..stop... don't touch...Wizar..." The voices resounding in my ears, or was it in my head were so far yet so close.
It was like that feeling you get when a mosquito was busy stalking you and when you tried hitting it, you would fail miserably cause you didn't know where it was exactly.
"Treasure...kingdom...wizard..." It was like listening to a chorus of an arguing choir. I still couldn't identify what was happening outside...was it outside or inside. I didn't know what was going on around me.
The voices stopped abruptly and then there was an explosion. Goddamit, am too tired for this. Please whoever you are just let me sleep for a few more years. I beg of you.
My pleas fell on deaf ears as with the random explosions came random shouting. A young voice in particular, it was loud and annoying, disturbing even. No it wasn't just the voice, a particular power was involved as with each shout, the louder the voice became.
But I was a professional at the game of playing ignore, I wouldn't be waking up for a stupid reason like an excessively loud voice. "...Wizaaaard king!" Now that was just mocking me, so for the first time since...I don't really remember, I woke up.
There was no burst of power, no increase in gravity, no cracking on walls and no overbearing pressure or anything of the sort. I just woke up like a normal person and there in my presence were...children. One severely wounded and another tending to her, three trapped in...was that diamond, one wielding a sword and another facing them all. But they were children nevertheless.
Then the kid with stones on his forehead spoke up."It doesn't matter who you clover scoundrels call for help, you can never hope to defeat my magic." The book in his hand shone as he murmured some inaudible mumblings and diamonds grew from the ground up heading towards me.
That would probably be a cause of alarm for anyone who just woke up, but I was more irritated at the brat that kept shouting 'wizard king'. I was still scanning them when the same voice came from the shortest one around."Hey you, watch out." Now how to make him pay?
But first, I disappeared from where I stood and appearing in front of diamond boy, I knocked some of his teeth out as he flew back colliding with the wall behind him and he passed out.
Time never waited for anyone so I then appeared infront of the short brat and hit him straight at the back of his head, forcing him to lie flat on the ground.
"Asta!" Came two simultaneous voices, one from the black haired kid and another from the wounded girl who for some reason was now awake. "Relax, he's ok, I jus..." Note to self, children are unreasonable and won't listen to you.
A blast of wind lifted me off the ground, not really doing anything else and I smiled looking in the direction of the attacker. Hmm, I sensed some spirit magic from him, though not fully binded.
A small spirit then appeared yawning and then sent some more wind which did nothing but destroy the room and then disappeared back to where it came from.
Falling to his knees the black haired kid started panting," Yuno!" The one I assume to be the oldest wearing glasses spoke up and helped him by... supporting him up. Yes, I was surprised, I was kind of expecting him to attack too, but I guess not everyone is unreasonable.
'Boooom!' I forgot that this place was starting to collapse, hmmm, my home I shall miss you. I could actually try to save it but I didn't see any reason to or maybe I just wanted to go outside.
" Am awaake!" The one known as Asta shouted as he got up and looked around anxiously probably in search of the diamond head.
It was interesting, how the sword he had been wielding was slowly disappearing in that book of his I mean. It was like it wanted everyone to witness as it slowly disappeared, ha! How lewd.
Did I tell you that the room we were in was crumbling? No. Then yes it was now falling apart much faster and we were probably at the center of it.
"Mimosa, do you still remember the way out? Cause if you do, now would be a good time to lead us out of the dungeon." Glasses boy said to...healing girl as he adjusted his glasses. Tch! Like he couldn't see well before.
The Yuno guy created a small wind platform and urged everyone to get on as the dungeon was collapsing.
" Help him please,if we don't he'll die." Asta said in a small almost whispering voice as he lay atop the wind. Funny, how loud he'd been before but now a new born could probably be louder than him.
"But he's from the Diamond Kingdom, and he tried to kill us." Glasses argued
"I know, but we came to explore the dungeon not commit murder, please just help him." Asta seemingly convinced the guy but before he could offer assistance the dungeon completely fell apart and probably crushed diamond in the process.
"No time for that now, everybody get on, it's time we left." Yuno said and after everyone including me was safely on board, he controlled the wind to platform to fly away as the crazy looking kid directed him out.
There were some mishaps along the way but nothing major and some minutes later we were safely outside as the dungeon finally collapsed in itself.
A lot had happened but I was still surprised at how well these guys ignored my presence entirely in order to save their lives. Some hugs and banter later, glasses finally turned to me.
Pushing his glasses upwards once more he asked,
"And who are you? You attacked two magic knights, one of them being a member of the golden dawn. Don't you know that's a capital offense and you can get arrested?"
I take it back, he was the most annoying of the group.
"Why do you care?" I asked back clearly disinterested in the topic
"Hmph! I just knew it, you are probably a commoner. Well, if I must inform you, I am Klaus Lunettes, a member of the golden dawn and also a noble. You should show me respect cause the title 'noble' is not one to be taken lightly, moreso from a commoner such as yourself." And he just kept yapping
"Big words from a weak man." Giving him another disinterested answer I looked around where I was trying to identify if there was anything familiar.
The Klaus dude tried to rush at me but was held back by Yuno who surprisingly chastisised him.
"Don't go picking a fight with someone who defeated an enemy we had been struggling with in one move. We couldn't even keep up with his moves, remember."
Klaus relented and...was he pouting? Sheesh he is both annoying and creepy, talk about double loss in one package.
"Hey, you are strong right. Let's fight!" The crazy one got in my face. Too close...too close, I panicked a bit and sent him flying.
How did he even get that close without me sensing him, No! It isn't me. The mana in his body is too minimal so I missed him. Speaking of mana, I turned to Asta. This freak didn't even have a single ounce of mana in his body.
Lesson learnt,'always try to keep your eyes to yourself.' The freak rushed at me with sparkling eyes,
"Hey, you are like really strong. Am going to become the wizard king. Teach me how to become stronger, hey!hey! Are you listening to me? Hello!"
He was honestly overwhelming and I couldn't bear it, so I did what I knew best and disappeared.
Now I can finally find out where I really am and maybe meet this 'wizard king' in the process.
