Plow Village is my home, and I will do my best to protect it. Someday, I'll inherit it from my father. The leader of our village.

David El Levi, son of the king, once used his position as the heir to the throne to combat political parties. He fought for the freedom and rights of the native people. A peaceful tribe known as Reuben who had lost their land after being raided. A raid led by no other than David himself.
Great guilt filled his heart as he struggled to justify his doings. The morals of both the Reuben tribe and the traditions of the Levitical Kingdom came into question. Unlike his father, David wished not to continue the bloodshed of these people, nor any people after them. In a rebellious act against his father, he sought to atone for his actions by offering the people spared land to restore their homes. Many of them were brutally slaughtered by David's men. And because of this, most held grudges against him.
They firmly expressed that they did not trust him or his people. And so, they refused his offer. David's guilt swelled so deep that he even offered his life in exchange for their forgiveness. The tribe's elder came forth, placing his palm on top of David's head, and gave him his forgiveness. Afterward, the tribe followed, and as a result, a blessing came unto David. He had to prove his way to gain their trust.
And so, he did.
Ten years passed after the treaty between Reuben and Levi. David's father, who honored his son's path to kingship, passed away. Before rightfully assuming the thrown, his uncle, Ezra Levi, laid claim to it and proudly announced himself as the new King. King Spade of the Levitical Kingdom. Nobles of many houses campaigned in support of his ruling over David.
With so much power at his disposal, Spade turned the public against David and the Rueben tribe. Given the knowledge they held, Spade gave the order to remove the tribe from the land that David had given them and sell them as slaves. Then after, prejudice against the people gave way. David had no choice but to gather them and flee. He, alongside his would-be wife, Susanna, the granddaughter of the tribe's elder, and his former raiding companions headed towards the furthest region from the kingdom. The Pounding Valley.
They came together and settled in the valley. With David's riches, they gathered wood, stone, and many other materials to build a new home for themselves. Founding their Village, called Plow. After a series of hardships, David managed to keep things afloat. Sadly, what was left of his wealth could only get them so far.
Things began to settle for a bit as David and Susanna got married. A year later, she conceived a boy child. He was given the name Caleb El Levi. Son of the former Prince of the Levitical Kingdom and rightful heir to the throne. Unbeknownst to them, a spy, who was sent forth to find and gather intel on them, returned to Spade's side and gave him the news he'd collected.
Since David's marriage was not of the traditions of their kingdom, Spade took advantage to cut ties to David's wealth and remove his title as Prince. Soon after, a large setback plummeted the village into poverty.
Spade was sure to give notice of his mischievous actions behind David's back. Now that Spade knows of their whereabouts, fear erupts amongst the people. Weary of the cruel King's hunt after them, the elder of the people came to his people and sought to leave.
David understood the elder's reasoning to flee and protect his people. He then makes known that if he had been their leader, he'd encourage them to stay and fight for their new home. Many mumbles arose from the crowd as they gathered. In the end, only a quarter of them chose to stay. David shakes hands with the elder and bids the people farewell.

Things have drastically changed since the upbringing of Plow. Sir Issac, a friend of my father's, made wonderful use of his carpentry skills. He replaced the dried materials of our homes with new ones. Making the structure of every home more decent than ever. It brought smiles all over the village.
Mother too, was grateful for his work.
To be honest, we plan to share our vision with those who wish to help us thrive. Trust in each other brings progress as all who reside here work to make Plow a better place. Neighboring towns and villages signed treaties with Father to bring forth a trading system amongst our lands. We traded lots of things.
Oddly enough, no matter how consistent the pacing was, it still was not enough. We were low on resources, and food was limited. That leaves me with only one option left. For me to take advantage of the skills my father bestowed upon me since I was little. Today, I stand guard before my home, fifteen years of age, and ready to become an adventurer. I will not let this place fall into the hands of Spade. We are its future, and I am its protector.
I, the Levitical Adventurer.
