The cradle of life and humanity, has thrived for millennia. But in the shadows of its history, dark whispers lurk and an ancient evil awaits its time...In the beginning, the voice of the Beast God echoed in the impenetrable void.
His words, deep and guttural, carried the violence of a storm and the wisdom of an eternity of observation. He spoke with proud distrust and contempt for humanity.
"Wretched creatures of flesh and blood, you breed like insects, attached to your own delusions of grandeur," he growled, his deep voice twisting in the darkness.
"Build cities, erect temples, sing praises to your gods... but what are you really but prey?" Looking at human history with deafening fury.
This god, born of the wildest instincts of the Earth, embodied the power of the beasts and creatures of the night, an indomitable force, unleashed, without mercy. It fed on primal instincts: bloodlust, hunting and the need to dominate.
"Ever since mankind left its caves and abandoned its claws for steel blades, it believed that it would reign. But your strength is fragile, broken by fear and doubt, like bones of a devil under the grip of a predator. "
A dark flame flashed in his eyes, even though he was trapped in a dark dimension far from the world of the living. An unfathomable anger filled him and this desire for freedom burned like an open wound.
He remembered the past age, when creatures like him were revered and feared. People offered sacrifices to appease the demons of the forests and mountains, the spirits of the hunt, the lords of the woods who walked in the dark.
But with the passage of time, they had forgotten their place. They had learned to fight, to build, to tame nature, thus forgetting the true rules of this world.
"You humans," he whispered in a venomous voice.
"You have moved away from your nature. You have betrayed fear, denied primal instinct. You believe that you are safe, protected by your walls and your invented gods. But I, the God of Beasts, have seen beyond. I know what sleeps in your hearts."
The echo of his laughter rang out, cold and merciless. To this forgotten god, humanity was but a transient race, vulnerable and arrogant.
But he possessed the power to restore the natural order, to sweep away human insolence with a blow of his hoof.
"The hour of my rebirth draws near," he rumbled, his voice rising to a menacing roar. "I will send my friends, wild and merciless creatures. They will attack from the shadows, destroy what you love, penetrate your dreams to sow terror. And when chaos resonates in every corner of your world... I will be reborn ".
But his goal was not just revenge. He had a greater plan, a dark vision: the creation of a hybrid being, a child born of the divine and the human. This child, a perfect embodiment of his animal power, would crush humanity beneath his feet and bring a reign of terror and animal domination to Earth.
"A human will give birth to my heir," he whispered with a cruel smile. "A child born of the wild, fed on blood and forged in the fires of wrath. He will be my right arm, my weapon... and he will destroy this world and rebuild it in savage purity."
He knew that to make this vision a reality, he had to wait. Waiting for his friends to weaken the human defenses, for fear of taking his heart and for the frightened souls to hear his whispers. Because, like an infection, its presence can enter the mind of the most vulnerable, broken souls, willing to do anything to survive.
"Fear is my accomplice," he said in an almost gentle tone, like a poisoned caress. "It is the poison I distill in your souls, the invisible chain that binds you to me. And one by one they fall, until there is no one left to resist. "
Trapped in his darkness, his black heart slowly expanded, penetrating dreams, nightmares and the darkest recesses of the human subconscious. He knew that every weak mind was an open door to the domination he so desired.
"You abandoned prayer, forgot your fear of shadows, rejected nature to challenge me better. But the beast never sleeps... Wait."
His invisible claws extended, preparing to shake the world of the living. The prophecy was in motion and the die was cast. Humanity had to pay the price for their arrogance and that price would be total destruction. His laugh fell for the last time, heavy with dark promises and a future full of blood.
"Fear me, because I am the beginning and the end. I am the Lord of the Beasts, and soon... very soon, you will see me again."
So in the darkness of ancient ages and forgotten stories, the Lord of the Beasts waited, sealed but ready to strike. The people were not aware of what was coming, of the wave of terror that was about to fall upon them.
They lived, loved, quarreled, not realizing that their days of peace were numbered. But in the shadows, where danger lay, the Beast Lord was preparing his return.
Kazuo's alarm goes off, breaking the morning silence with a piercing screech. He groaned and struggled to turn it off, his sleepy gaze drifting to the ceiling of his small bedroom. It took him a moment to remember that today was the beginning of the school year and that a new school was starting this year.
Senior year of high school, another step to take.He stood up slowly, lying on his length, before leaving his room for the kitchen. His mother was already there waiting for him, a plate of rice and eggs prepared in front of her. She smiled sweetly at him when she saw him arrive, casually dressed, still a bit disheveled.
"Hi, Kazuo!" Ready for your first day?"
she asked with a twinkle of tenderness in her eyes.Kazuo sat down heavily, pouting a bit.
"We said this. . . It's just another high school, nothing special." His mother sighed. "You can make an effort, you know. This is another opportunity for you to get off to a good start."
Kazuo shrugged, took a big gulp of rice without really answering. His fighting reputation had preceded him wherever he went, and he knew trouble would find him sooner or later, even if he changed schools.
"And try to stay out of trouble this time, okay?" added the mother with a smile that betrayed a slight concern.
Kazuo nodded absently, though the idea of 'staying away' seemed far from his reality.
He finished his meal, put down his chopsticks and got up to get his bag that was waiting for him at the door.
"Alright, I'll go," he said, giving her mother a hand.
Outside, the neighborhood was still quiet. Kazuo walked to the bus stop, enjoying the fresh morning air.
He knew this road by heart, but this year he traveled it with a little nervousness. New school, new faces... 'I just hoped everything was going well'. The bus finally arrived and Kazuo left with a sigh, scanning the row of seats.
There were already several passengers, including an attractive young woman of his age, seated a little further away. She had long, dark, silky hair and a lively, almost piercing gaze. It's hard not to notice.
As he moved down the aisle to find a seat, the bus suddenly started, pushing him forward. Unbalanced, Kazuo instinctively reached out, but his hand involuntarily slipped to the young woman's shoulder, and in the chaos of the movement he found himself touching an area... far less suitable.
The young woman immediately turned around, her eyes flashing with anger. There was a second of silence, then she blurted out:
"No, but it's not good, you pervert!" Where do you look?! "
All eyes on the bus immediately turned to them. Kazuo felt heat rise to his face as the young woman continued to attack him, not giving him time to defend himself.
"What?! Wait a second, I wasn't…" he tried to say, raising his hands in protest. But she wasn't going to listen. The young woman stood up, looking at him with an icy gaze.
"You're a heavy thing, seriously! Is that how you flirt?" - she said in a contemptuous tone, while some passengers began to whisper among themselves.Kazuo didn't know how to get out of this embarrassing situation. He tried to apologize, but she just cut him off with frantic energy.
Finally he pulled away a bit, he muttered to himself, trying to keep a low profile and hoping the rest of the trip would pass without further incident.Kazuo finally got off the bus with a sigh of relief, hoping to put the embarrassing incident behind him.
But as soon as he had set foot on the sidewalk, the young woman followed him. Before he had time to react, she raised her hand and hit him with surprising force, slamming her palm into his cheek. Kazuo, stunned, could feel anger boiling inside him.
He caught his breath for a moment to try to stay calm, but something inside him gave out. In one swift movement, he grabbed her wrist and pinned her firmly against the wall, his steely gaze fixed on her.
"Are you in trouble or something?" he screamed through gritted teeth. "I already said it was an accident. Will you stop acting now?"
The young woman, although she was fierce, seemed to hesitate for a moment before his intense gaze. But soon his anger returned and she began to shout again:
"Help! This man is crazy! Let me go!"
His scream immediately drew the attention of the high school students in the area. Some, mostly a group of scumbags, approached with a smile.
The two boys at the front of the line, much taller than average, showed wicked smiles when they recognized Kazuo.
"Hey, hey, do you have a problem with the girl, the new guy?" - said one of them in a mocking tone.
The other, obviously the head ofgroup, he walked forward with a superior air, an arrogant smile on his face.
"Hey, you're new here. It would be a shame to hate him from day one, don't you think?" - he asked with a soft and menacing voice.Kazuo looked at them, his features hardened and his gaze filled with cold determination.
He stood up, freeing the rushing young woman, and faced the mess with an air that betrayed his growing irritation.
"You really picked the wrong day to piss me off," he muttered with a smirk. The leader exchanged a confused look.
The leader frowned, clearly troubled by Kazuo's confidence."Oh really? And what are you doing huh? Ripping us off?" he sneered.
Kazuo stepped forward, closing the space between them with a determined, calculated step, his gaze burning with a fierce glare."Exactly," he replied coldly.
"Do you really think I'm going to let a bunch of losers intimidate me? I've hit guys a lot harder than you. If you keep acting tough, I promise it will end badly for you."
Throat pulled back a little, startled by Kazuo's menacing aura. A shiver of fear ran through their veins, as if they had realized in a split second that this boy was not just an ordinary high schooler.
A heavy silence settled in, broken only by the intense look Kazuo gave him, an amused smile on his lips.
"So what's your choice? Do you leave quietly, or do we have a massacre here and now?" The leader, intimidated by Kazuo's confidence and icy tone, exchanged nervous glances before retreating, muttering a few half-hearted apologies.
Their arrogance had evaporated, replaced by cautious obedience. Kazuo watched them leave, a small satisfied smile at the corner of his lips.
He always had the gift of making people understand that he was not to be taken lightly.Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he entered the street that led to the entrance of his new high school, Takeshi High School.
The buildings were impressive and the rush of students marked the beginning of a new school year. Some were looking animatedly, while others were looking for their bearings, eyes wide open at the greatness of the place.
Kazuo followed the flow of new arrivals, eventually heading towards the amphitheater where they werehe had invited everyone to a welcome speech. After entering the amphitheater, he sat slumped at the back of the room, arms crossed, mindlessly surveying the scene.
The place was huge and the volume of the voices rose to the ceiling. After a few minutes, the silence gradually fell and a middle-aged man in a suit walked towards the podium. He was the director.
"Welcome to all, new students of Takeshi High School!" He said in a warm voice that echoed throughout the room.
"We are pleased to welcome you to our institution, where I hope you will experience an unforgettable and rich school year. Here we value respect, discipline and mutual help..."
Kazuo listened absently, his mind already wandering elsewhere. He had never been very sensitive to authority figures, and this was no exception. However, his thoughts were interrupted when the director ended by announcing:
"Now, I invite the president of the student council to introduce himself. She was chosen for her determination and sense of responsibility and I'm sure she will be a model for all of you this year."
Kazuo raised an eyebrow, curious. He watched the stage with renewed attention as the student body president took the stage to applause.
But when he saw her face, his eyes widened in surprise. She was the girl on the bus.She was wearing a perfectly tailored uniform and her expression was serious and professional, a far cry from the one she had shown when she had accused him before.
She stands confidently in front of the microphone, scanning the assembly with his gaze. When she met Kazuo's eyes, a glint of surprise flashed in his eyes, but she quickly recovered and spoke again in a calm tone.
"Hello everyone. My name is Asami Miyahara, president of the student council. I hope you like it here and that we can all contribute to a healthy and motivating school environment."
Kazuo couldn't help but smile. Asami Miyahara huh? The situation took an ironic turn. Here she was, the same person who had made a scandal on the bus, appeared as a figure of respect and discipline in the school.
Asami continued her speech in a confident tone, discussing the values of the high school and the various activities in which the new students could participate.
Meanwhile Kazuo couldn't help but think about the embarrassing scene they had shared earlier. He already imagined that their paths would cross again and couldn't wait to see how the student president would handle this situation.
