Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Alex sighed and wondered how he could have forgotten. That night, he had returned home and met Elisa weeping on the couch. On the floor below her feet was an empty bottle of whisky and when he rushed to her, he noticed that she was drunk.

Her eyes were red and swollen, marred by tears and when he confronted her, she revealed to him that she was devastated because she had a passion for music but was unknown. That night, Alex discovered that her quest for popularity was greater than mere utterance.

The next day, he asked his sibling to purchase an entertainment company named White Moon Company.

With this company, he contacted the mysterious composer, asked they to write a song for Elisa.

Today there will be a party to announce the official statement to all the artists and staff.

Alex frowned. "I see, so she is one of the White Moon Company too? What happened to her?"

"Yes, sir. Her name is Dianna Lampton, the only daughter of the Lampton's family. She is also the best singer of White Moon. But she lost her voice so she can't make it to tonight's party." William explained.

Alex frowned. Who dared to make her lost the voice?

He owed her once, and maybe now it's the right time to payback.

"Let's go to Lampton's mansion, I'll help their super star daughter." Alex said calmly.

William laughed, "Then the problem would be solved perfectly, my master! Everyone of us know that you're the best doctor, if you cannot cure her...then no one could. "

A black G wagon pulled off right opposite Alex's sports car. A middle-aged man got out of the wagon with an humble face.

He bowed to Alex and said with an exciting voice, "Finally we meet again, my master!"

Alex turned to him with a smile. "It's nice to sit with you again, William."

William Turner was humble, "Don't say that, my master."

"Hey, you're not that poor guy anymore, now you're the richest man in this city, remember?" Alex smiled, he tried to make William relax.

Yes, this middle-aged man was the richest guy in this city!

No one would believe that he was so humble to a young man.

But only William knew why he would do that, willingly.

Because everything he had now was given by Alex. 3 years ago he was just a penniless guy, but with Alex's help, he became the richest guy!

So, William treated Alex as his master, his savior.

"I told you that we're friend, not because you're rich. Even at that day you're still poor, I treated you as a friend." Alex smiled.

William smiled back and opened the car door for him. He knew Alex was an easy-going person.

"People would kill to trade places with me right now. Who wouldn't want to sit next to William Turner, a man of class, a man who made a thousand dollars per second?" Alex teased.

"Trust me if they know who you are, they'll do worse." William responded.

He exploded with laughter, crossed his legs and threw his back against the car seat. He was dressed in a three-piece black Armani suit.

"That was hilarious, Alex but you and I know who the boss here is."

Alex smiled. "I hope I didn't interfere with your schedule. You're a busy man and we all know that time is money, especially for someone of your status."

"You know my schedules won't count when you need me urgently Alex. I'll be a fool to bounce your call." William responded and placed his perfect set of dentition on display.

Alex sighed. "Thanks, mate."

"Anytime," William replied and turned to his driver. "Start the car."

About an hour later, the G wagon pulled up in front of a villa. The car drove straight into the house and then to the garage.

Alex and William stepped out of the car and headed to the door. William rang the doorbell when they got to the entrance.

An elderly man dressed in his oversized black and white butler's uniform stepped out. He said impatiently,"I'm sorry, due to some reason we don't...Mr. Turner!?"

He cried out with a nervous smile when he saw who was there. He quickly moved away from the door, granting them access.

"Please, come in!" His face changed flattery.

William and Alex followed the butler into the house.

He invited them to sit on the royal chairs and with his hands stationed behind him, the old butler faced William.

"What can I offer you?"

"What the fuck is wrong with you Eddie?" Someone yelled from upstairs.

While the butler was startled, William and Alex looked up in their bid to catch a glimpse of the screaming woman.

"Didn't I warn you not to allow anybody into this house?" She went on ranting with a shrill house.

Alex could feel her aggressive footsteps hitting the staircase.

"I'm very sorry ma. Mr. Turner is here to..." the butler began to stutter.

"Shut up!" She barked.

Alex couldn't wait for the woman to come downstairs so he could finally see her face. She seemed like someone fond of causing trouble.

The woman began to hurl insults at the butler. "You're good for nothing Eddie. Didn't I warn you not to let anyone into the house after what happened? Why are you so daft?"

The butler instantly fell to his knees and began to mumble several apologies.

"Seems like they don't treat you fairly here." William turned to the butler.

An elderly man suddenly appeared from the opposite wing. It was Lord Lampton.

He gestured to the butler to get up and then turned to William. "I apologize for my wife's rude behavior."

Mrs. Lampton was halfway down the staircase when her husband showed up. She stopped with a sigh and folded her arms across her chest. Her husband shot her a glare and turned to his guests.

"I'm very sorry once again Mr. Turner."

Eddie stood up and returned to his post.

At the mention of William Turner, Mrs. Lampton began to quiver.

William waved his hand down. "That's okay Mr. Lampton. I brought someone here to meet you."

Mrs. Lampton began to slowly descend the staircase. She needed to apologize for her insolence. She got to the living room and stood beside her husband.

"Welcome, Mr. Turner."

William presented Alex to the couple. "This is Alex. He's a medical doctor and good at what he does so when I learned of Dianna's condition, I decided to bring him here to look at her. I heard that she lost her voice."
